Aaron matched the tournament record 18
hole low last year in round number one
he shot
63 pepperin Roberto neeves also shot 63
last year four men have shot 63 in the
history of the western inter
Collegiate 208 yards today that’ll work
it way down to the left from left to
right try to catch a slope it won’t go
all the way down there but it’s a pretty
good golf

pitching wedge or maybe a little
nineiron and see if he can control
everything he does right underneath the

little bit careful with that one but he

lead and then he had some struggles at
12 and 17 but he has posted three under
par through his opening 36
holes this is a lot of danger right here
here will be landing like you said Billy
Ray on the down slope if he misses it
all to the right it could go 30 yd off
the front of the green well if he wanted
to if he was concerned about that ball
going off he could play adjacent to the
left there is some slope behind it that
it could funnel
back he’s taking a direct
line a this is going to be wonderful

was really good you could hear it and
then spun it going down that slope
really well done yeah he’ll have a great
chance just to safe bogey there but what

direct route 180 over that bunker on
that Downs slope hits

that one we’re going nobody going to get
it close to this whole location and

Wildcats now just three Bob you
reiterated it it’s six count five so a
10 shot lead is theoretically a two shot
lead from the standpoint the five cor uh

over it’s the farthest thing from the
truth especially on this golf course
where you can make you Eagles and
birdies and bogey doubles and triples
and how about that effort from Carl
Phillips up that slope got a great read

played as the easiest hole in the golf
course not only today but for the
week not having a great day Grayson but
nice approach right

Bob yeah he’d go on and make that uh

72 I take you over to the 12th Michael
theor bourson on the team now this is
played as the fourth hardest hole today
John 410 of a stroke over par there’s
only been six
birdies and we have seen a handful back
there yeah he hit a nice shot over top
of the flag stick just crushed it and it
flew the whole High greens are firming
up they’re new greens remember they’re
resurfaced greens so they’re going to be
a little but it’s not done yet it’s not
done he caught that Ridge perfectly and
now he’s going to have a legitimate look
for birdie yeah you saw that big bounce
from the resurface greens Bay used them
slop so got a birdie opportunity coming
off that three putt back there at the
11th and this ball as it starts to come
back down hill he’s got to be really
careful here once it starts turning back
to the left it’ll pick up some speed
here he’s six over today right now he’s
not a counting
score yeah watch I was going to say
watch that ball work its way a little
bit back to the right it a great
read now ypi this would go a long ways
of slowing down his brain right now if
he’s able to knock this
in trying to write the ship quickly

Washington and we were looking at this
whole location today with Bob and I
nothing well we weren’t going to expect
that we wen’t going to expect anybody to
the left cuz look how close that out of
bounds is Carl Phillips of Stamford
second and 16 laid it
back front hole location here I thought
maybe they might move the te up and let
these players challenge the maybe drive
in the green now it’s all about
controlling spin controlling distance
and he does a nice job screens are
starting to firm up you could hear that
ball bounce didn’t take a lot of spin
