Avoid This At All Cost! #golfdrills #golf #golfingtips

I’m going to show you how you can stop
topping your iron shots thinning your
iron shots and avoiding this lunging
overthe top move on the way down those
can all happen when you start to stand
up or lift in the backing like I’m doing
here now it’s important to note that
it’s not simply the head going up like
this this wouldn’t really affect strike
what it is it’s the shoulders turning
onto flat of an angle as I flatten my
shoulders notice that my body lifts up
and my head raises so here’s what you’re
going to do take a golf club pop it
across your shoulders get yourself into
posture now from your Viewpoint as you
make rehearsals the grip of the club
should Point directly at the golf ball
like this and notice what my legs have
got to do hips are turning on angle
knees are changing Flex do that in the
golf swing and you’ll start to
absolutely flush
it

  1. Just an FYI. Chris, your shoulders don't point directly at the golf ball or the grip of the club for that matter in the backswing

  2. I dealt with this a while back and one thing to call out. If your setup is too bent over, you might need to fix that first. My standing up / flat backswing was a result of that and I could NOT fix it until I fixed my setup.
