his illness
um when people die something like that I
mean Nate Robinson has come out and said
he might pass away soon if he doesn’t
get a a kidney transplant soon and to
think that is crazy um but that that’s
just how fast your health can fail when
something eats away at it um but OJ
Simpson again his legacy will be
complicated like you said barri a legend
college football legend pro football
legend and then one of the Breakthrough
athletes in the at the time modern media
sponsorship world like he transitioned
to TV and acting he became a celebrity
and a
spokesman and then his legacy the last
30 years was the the complete opposite
of that of the first 30 of
his life it’s just crazy to think like
how will he really be remember because
there’s not many athletes who you’ll
think about positive and negative the
Masters is going on right now and Tiger
Woods is playing decent and we’ll always
remember how How Great Tiger Woods is
and how he hit a snag in the middle but
he kind of he’ll get this Fairy book
ending in a way because he was able to
win a masters post all of that and
everything after that Masters is just
you know shits and giggles to him but
and again mat all Tiger Wood did was
cheat you know he didn’t do anything
serious like you know beat a murder
charge and then get sent to prison for
robbing someone to get your stuff yeah I
still hate
that dude Reggie Bush and Adrian
Peterson still do that nobody’s gonna
catch him if they decide to take their
own stuff I thought that Adrian Peterson
thing was a Li though that was

brave going out there it’s like first of
all this man plays three times a year
okay like and anytime he plays bad his

hit he’ll start selling his well bad my
dad again as much as he loves Tigers
also like oh my back you know what my

Masters is the most prestigious
tournament in
golf um right now the wind is whipping
there so everyone is kind of having a
bad weekend so far just because they’re
having a factor in the win which is
tough when you are playing golf because
if you’re someone like me who already
kind
of hits it where it will kind of fade in
a certain unless you change your
positioning or you don’t have a proper
um follow through on your swing the the
wind’s just going to blow it the
complete opposite direction of what
you’re trying to do that’s why golf’s
always you have to factor in the outdoor
elements as much as your own mechanics
yeah I’ll speak on it then I gotta run

thing is with tiger I want to talk about
what he’s doing right now to keep
himself in shape first of all it goes
back to what David said earlier he tries
to he’s not cheating or whatever he’s
not married anymore but the whole
cheating on your wife thing is a myth to
begin with because nobody cheats on
their wife there’s no such thing as
cheating you just found a girlfriend
subsidiary to your wife and that’s all
it is your wife hasn’t understand that
doesn’t need hear
anyhow he said he’s
uh taking himself away from sex and he’s
going vegan now I
understand you know the vegan part I
don’t understand the other part like all
right does supposed to help you but
maybe it is helping him but it also made
he snitched on himself too because it’s
like oh so you’ve been Wilding if you’re
saying you know so you kind of snitched
on yourself Mr Woods because you’re
saying you’re not having sex but you’re
not married so it’s like okay see see we
see you you’ve been tricking which is
fine because he a multi probably
multi-billionaire at this point or
somewhere in the billions he got his own
shoe brand coming out now which is
pretty smart for him to get away from
Nike and do his own thing no yeah the
new year started off
with I think the the departure from Nike
was Sometime Late last year but
but at the start of this year his Sunday
red was fully announced that’s what he’s
wearing right now it’s his own
collection of clothing um and that was
shocking to me I thought he’d be one of
these um Nike athletes for life because
he was F the face of Nike golf and they
have Brooks Kea Roy maroy Scotty
sheffler they still have some of the
biggest names in golf but he did what uh
Kobe Bryant was supposed to do
apparently remember he was supposed to
leave Nike and start um the Mamba
brand prior to his
passing um Roger Federer he left Nike a
few years ago to take $500 million from
um uni and he wore Nike shoes but he um
that’s because uni didn’t have athletic
shoes but all his
shorts um headbands and and shirts were
that brand and he took it because the
$500 million it was that thing where
like um I’m going to get this money for
the rest of my life life versus a Nike
deal which is paying me I think only a
quarter of that at the time so seeing
tiger kind of be this Ronin version of
himself this you
know he’s playing when he wants to
because he’s at that stage or his body
can’t hold up to the normal PGA schedule
but by being a former ma being a former
master champion Master’s Champion he’s
able to come back um he’ll still have to
qualify I think for the British I don’t
I can’t remember my dad knows all the
stuff in terms of how you qualify for
the events every year it depends on if
you’ve made the cut at the
prior um Year’s tournament or not but
he’s looking good he’s playing good um
again he’s just insane shape for a guy
who’s his age and who’s had knee surgery
back injuries a [ __ ] car accident um
well how did he get in a car accident if
you want to let people know that that
was what 15 years ago at this point no
the car the car accident was three years
ago I think the car
DUI I’m talking about the car acent
where like he legit rolled his [ __ ]
car over it was in the middle or kind of
the tail end of the pandemic in terms of
and I’m talking about the 2021 pandemic
not um you’re talking about the one
where he had the mug shot right with his
hairs looking
crazy no that’s just a regular DUI um
that he was pulled over for the CU I
remember that one I don’t remember the
car yeah I’m going to look it up right
now cuz it [ __ ] up his leg cuz after
that he started wearing um a leg
sleeve how you getting across with it
they they were trying to say that he
might have been under the influence the
story was I think he had just gave like
Dwayne Wade or Gabrielle Union a golf
lesson if I remember
correctly you gon blame it on there for
sure they tried to touch his and he had
like rolled his
car yeah see on February 23rd so the day
before my birthday in 2021 he was
hospitalized in a serious but stable
condition after a single car collision
and under emergency surgery to re to
repair compound fracture sustain in his
right leg in addition to a shattered
ankle yeah I don’t remember that that’s
crazy like say it was because it was in
the middle of P that’s why well it was
in the middle of me drinking a lot too
in 2021 so yeah that might have been
around the time time when we were doing
the muhamad Assan episode or you know
shortly after
that always comes back and haunt us
always at least once a month I hear
about that episode I haven’t listened to
it since
then James just join the
Nets and then look two teams like about
that yeah think about that two teams you
right because that was December of 2020
when he got
traded crazy
I was listening to what you were saying
no but you were saying again like like
physically in the in the past there
always kind of been um rumors again my
dad being a golf pro had said the PGA
drug testing is a joke like it’s a one
time a year thing and there was always
stories or rumors that tiger was exempt
by unofficially exempt and he had
famously kind of been scrawny and skinny
and then be once he was like the face of
Nike he had the guns but my dad also
said he would with that my dad was also
like that’s the you wear the smallest
the smaller t-shirt that you can fit in
to
amplify how big
you black T-shirt you see well no just
any shirt his thing is is the red so
because he would wear the the red shirt
super baggy then he started wearing it
super tight
um and so I think it’s like he’s in
great shape and then
um but the damage to his knee was the
Green Beret train he was doing in the
mid 2000s that’s why his knees went to
[ __ ] based off the right Thompson piece
um but that’s also as again steroids the
wear and tear it it starts to eat away
at your body so it’s another K body it’s
another way to to glorify that steroid
rumor and we had just talked about John
Cena as of late looking a certain way
and I had told you if John Cen ever come
out and said that he B use it would be
that would be the real Santa Claus isn’t
real to me I’m not afraid to admit that
I’d be let down of John Cena said he yes
I’ve taken steroids I would just be
nothing nothing’s real in this world
Heroes don’t
exist yeah but I don’t believe it we
talked about that before I don’t believe
it because he’s still in shape he’s just
not 260 pounds in
shape and like he still got a vein
coming out his arm which is weird I’m
like why is that single B yeah it’s
always that that left arm one that goes
all the way down like yeah that’s scary
like when I seen people with veins and
they like that I’m like bro you need to
drink some more water or something why
is that vein popping out like
that well you probably know more by
studying Fitness and all that but like
but you dehydrate yourself to V vascular
like that
right yeah also along with whatever you
whatever you eat calorie or protein wise
to to have it like more
tight if if you want more water weight
you take
ctin uh but the thing is once you start
peeing you start uh extracting that then
you start to slim down because most
people think they’re at just walking
around weight that’s why boxers lose
weight to actually get to the weight
they’re supposed to be at yeah and then
the ring you’re not drinking water you
know like literally drinking waterers
because it adds more weight to you
you’re supposed to stay at the same
weight and at the same time you’re
adding on water weight when you drink
something if you’re drinking a ton of
water but with him his diet probably
just he’s doing the same diet he just
condensed he just dehydrating himself so
to speak to maintain the right muscle
mass and then also not bulk up so it
just like he’s probably eating less
calories but he’s eating the same thing
and he’s still working out but he’s not
obviously [ __ ] two three hours in the
gym trying to max out squats and all
that so that’s all he’s probably doing
but with tiger the problem is he always
uses Skip Leg Day you could tell he Skip
Leg Day because if you Skip Leg Day
that’s how you get all damages to your
legs especially if you using a gimmick
you have to work out legs the thing is
with the muscle any muscle that you have
you tearing it to rebuild it that’s how
it works that’s bodybuilding one onone
you’re using protein to then tear down
that muscle to rebuild it back even more
so that’s why they tell you don’t skip
leg date because if this is destroyed
but this is cool this that’s not GNA
work you use your legs to maintain your
upper mind it always starts at the
bottom of the tree and it builds up
that’s just how it works with everything
in life the foundation is at the bottom
not at the top so tiger
no no I was about to say is remember at
one point with
tiger he was supposed to pack pass a
Jack Nicholson it was in the early 2000s
it was like this is the guy that was
gonna be Jack Nicholson Nicholas yeah
and then yeah Nicholas I’m sorry and
then no it’s always tough saying Jack
Nicholas and Jack Nichols because it’s
it’s two names that are eerily
similar very and then they’re both great
at what they do yeah but but with Jack
he was supposed to be the pr he was the
predecessor he just did it his way but
he was supposed to pass him up in the
records Jack is number one in the
masters with damn I just saw the number
yesterday or day before I think he has
six to Tigers five it was something or
five to
four 07
08 tiger was his close that’s why the
Scandal that’s why the Scandal was as
big as it was
and more so in the aftermath because
people thought like is this going to
change the trajectory of his career and
it did but then it not so much cheating
impacted it as much as the injuries
started accumulating right after that he
had famously
won if it was the US Open or the
PGA um one-legged because that’s when
his ACL had snapped in that final round
against Roco media and then they had to
go into a playoff and ke and keep
playing and that that was the last one
last major he he ended up winning until
the Masters in
2019 but yeah he was he was fully on
Pace because until that ACL think he was
still the Unstoppable tiger machine um
and then the cheating scandle was all
the noise and media tension but the
injuries after that were much more har
harmful to his actual playing career
than the Scandal was like you’re saying
someone cheats on their spouse um yeah
it’s round on but it doesn’t
affect um their play as an athlete
really it can mentally but not the
actual physical play on the quarter
Michael Jordan still went on a win three
finals all right like you know let’s be
real it it’ll happen in sports but the
thing with him is he also had more
technological advancements than Jack
Nicholas when Jack Nicholas said all
those major records and the whole point
of Jack Nicholas was again he was an
athlete of his time he was kind of a
drinker he was heavy set um and my dad
always says this like Jack Nicholas also
has the most Runner UPS in Majors
history so he could have almost twice
the amount of Majors he has because he
finished second so many times at the
Masters the US Open the PGA and the
British Open that his major record could
have been fully Untouchable if a couple
more went his way and the thing about
tiger in the last decade is a lot of the
majors was during the stretch of my knee
hurts my back hurts I’m having to
withdraw after the first day I’m having
to withdraw after the second day I’m not
able to make the cut versus the one in
2019 where everything clicked and a
couple guys hit shots at the wrong time
which is how golf goes it has to break
your way more than any other sport I
mean kind of the whole thing about um
it’s just like in basketball too where
the other team starts making shots and
yours aren’t falling in the second half
that was the thing in the Iowa LSU game
is that they were it was a knife fight
for the first half that’s why it was
locked at 45 and then once the second
half started Iowa was able to keep
making buckets and LSU wasn’t
um and for for something like golf where
it’s an individual sport you’re out
there doing all the work it’s all on you
and the course like I said I’m saying
you’re gon you’re gonna have to deal
with win you’re gonna have to deal with
rain potentially you’re gonna have to
deal with um the bunkers uh if you hit
it in the water that’s a stroke against
you that’s all these things that can
just [ __ ] you up as much as you can
catch a break as guys of one masters
from other guys throwing it
away um it his potential to still win
enti I mean to tie Jack’s record is is
up there because it’s golf Anything Can
Happen really more than football where
it’s such a physically demanding game
where there is an age limit because you
can be 16 still play golf it’s just you
might not hit it as far as you did you
not you might not be able to um do all
that but he famously like had the had
the eye surgery to give him greater
Vision that was like early in new query
he had had the lasic um and they were
like and that that was the whole debate
of like is this performance enhancement
um because this can help him read puts
better
um and I mean it’s elective surgery I
don’t think it’s performance enhancement
I mean
it’s no different to even do that that
should let people know the diameters of
everything that it tails with golf
because it’s just not hitting the ball
you have to know yeah uh Precision
targeting you got to know exactly like
like Davis said about the wind diameter
you got to know about that you got to
know
exactly how the field is laid out that’s
why they gonna walk around the field
before they tea time so it it’s it’s a
lot of math and science about a lot of
physics involved with gol especially
when you at that higher level for
somebody like him that’s been up here
for him to even think of something like
that like get lasic eye surgery unless
you know his mindset as it relates to
golfing it’s it’s not an easy sport at
all and it does weigh on your knees and
your hip as well and that’s why you were
right speaking about the wear and tear
of skiing leg day because your legs are
your base you’re having the stand and
then the torque and and and his swing
was just so powerful all the way through
which is why his his neego and like like
swinging with his body because you’re
you’re either going to keep your leg
still
or follow as your swing follows with it
some guys have um each swing is
different from everyone like there’s a
guy Matthew wolf he does like a weird
twitch motion before he does his wind up
and hits it and like people like oh
that’s going to ruin his career but he
was like the number one college
golfer in the in the 2010s the guy who’s
dominating right now Bryson D Shambo
he’s the leader of the of the Masters
right now he hasn’t heed off yet but he
was mathematics when he first showed up
as a pro his whole thing when he was at
SMU was like he was studying math and
physics and like hit this club at this
time for the CR to hit this and that and
like his swing motion he and he could
swing it all these different ways but
then five years later he started packing
on the pounds muscle wise and like I’m
just going to [ __ ] hit it farther
than everyone else and then in the
pandemic US Open that’s how he won he
just literally hit it farther than
everyone else so he had shorter distance
for the second shot and was able to make
birdie putts because that’s the thing
about golf it’s much like baseball like
if you can hit it farther than everyone
else you’ll have a
chance like it’s it’s one of those
things where it can be easy and hard at
the same time like like the in baseball
who can hit multiple homers I mean I
mean who can hit homers or hit it to the
wall at least are still be like [ __ ]
this guy’s scary like we gotta not Pitch

um now you know I’ll talk about baseball
a little bit we’re in the age now where
we got some hitters they just make it
look cute in a way pause and I’m not
even mad at that why you say from the

is that the pitchers they’ll have no arm

remember when it was Steven straber is
going to be the LeBron of pitchers I
remember reading that article when he
was at uh San Diego
State bad uh being touched by Tony Gwyn
and it was like he has 100 m hour fast
ball great curveball Unstoppable change
up um this guy is going to just wreck
hitters when he gets called up and he
and he was like six foot three um he was
a he was chubbier than slim down um so
was like wow how are they going to stop
this guy and the Nationals got him one
year and then drafted Bryce Harper the
next year the blon of hitters in terms
of the young Prospect coming up but it’s
funny because you’re speaking on the on
the same thing that Daniel Tosh did in
that same special I reference a few
weeks ago when he’s like I love steroids
in baseball no one wants to watch a
pitching duel a game go one zero because
each guy threw a shut out no I want to
see guys hit out of the [ __ ] Park
right and I missed that but at the same
time now we have that to a certain
degree I just think everything’s just
like well no I don’t want to compare
anything to that [ __ ] [ __ ] sport
right now being the NBA but I think now
everything is just more prettier and
that’s fine it it’s the NLB again I feel
like it’s getting popular again it’s not
80s or 90s popular but I feel like it’s
getting to that point again where people
are paying attention to it unfortunate a
lot of kids that want to they probably
can’t afford to play and they need to
figure that out but I like I like where
baseball is heading right now I like
where the Masters is heading hell the
NBA been so bad for years that soccer is
starting to get popular more than ever
it’s kids that want to play soccer inste
which I recommend go play soccer go play
that’s expensive
too all you sports are expensive SOC in
America it’s expensive but soccer cheap
yeah that’s what I’m saying yeah um but
but know to play if you’re a good player
and you want to continue to get better
playing Club level soccer is expensive
but um
again um hockey’s expensive seeing my
Step Brothers play hockey for multiple
years like that’s expensive but all us
sports are and that was kind of the
epidemic of um you Sports over the last
decade was and I think they were trying
to say maybe that’s why
International Sports will I mean the
sports will be dominated internationally
by the other countries because the EP
economics of our country versus theirs
and just like the different type of
athletes and all that but um you’re kind
of speaking on something that that
because everyone want talking about the
the women’s national basketball college
tournament more than the men’s and that
just the men’s game has
been not a shell itself but the top
stars but no I’m saying the top stars in
college don’t dominate like they used to
like you know like it did kind of your
era and kind of my era in a way even
though you’re not that much older but
what I mean is
like um if I was 18 watching college
basketball I’d be like the best player
isn’t even gonna win versus like you
know Greg Odin was kind of the best
player that year if it wasn’t Kevin
Durant and he still went the national
title game like he was able to impact
his team that much to carry them and
yeah he had Mike Connelly um and some
other good guys on that Ohio State team
but we’re in the era now where I think
we just want to watch more and there’s
the gambling aspect of all that I don’t
want to reiterate that but we just want
to watch more Sports because it’s it’s
possible in the women’s game now due to
all the work of the last 30 years by the
great women players like you know the
Lisa Wesley the Cheryl swoops the
trasis have built it to the point where
the women who are succeeding now are
going to be able to really be what the
2003 draft class was like the Caitlyn
Clark Angel ree um C like that draft on
Monday I’ll tune into it to see because
I’m I’m interested in seeing after the
way this tournament shook out um and
JuJu Watkins and Pa
Beckers no I was about to say is sorry
to cat you off this is going to be the
greatest Drive in WNBA
history just based on what everyone was
saying and again I was watching those
games and the announcers were doing a
great job explaining it to me of like
like oh this is how good this year was
because each team no even though South
Carolina was undefeated but it was like
each team has a chance realistically
because the deficiencies of one team
were the strength of the other team so
it was going to be a real match but like
so- and so’s defense versus the other
team’s offense um this team can’t
rebound but this team can play lock down
defense so it’s like oh [ __ ] like the
matchups it’s not like the NBA where
where it’s parody like everyone’s been
saying everyone just wants to shoot
threes
and try in the last four minutes fashion
no they just want to be fashion all

on both teams showed like damn this this
isn’t just one woman runs the team and I
think that was always issue to me seeing
College like basketball results when I
was growing up it’s like it was either
always dominated by Tennessee or
Connecticut and they had and they were
the only ones who had the good
players cantic kid just got their second
title so first time in 17 no I’m saying
women’s I’m saying women’s basketball
because women is too which I believe my

Augustus was on LSU there there’d be
like other great players on other teams
but I feel like every year I’d look at
the women’s college basketall results
why I would following the men’s more and
it would just be like is it going to be

back the WNBA more and if the NBA wants
NFL money and we can’t give it to them
because Amazon and apple are threatening
to sign them
away we’re going to highlight the
college basketball game more it’s that
thing whereby by the stream everyone’s
talking about how the streaming Wars are
over and dead because Netflix is running
away with it because they have HBO
content on their platform the WWE is a
low-key um I mean not low-key like it’s
going to really help them because
peacock’s been doing so well because of
the WWE like the whole thing is peacock
everyone’s like peacock would be like as
bad as Paramount plus is if it didn’t
have the WWE
because based off its own original
content in its Library it would still be
decent but the WWE has a fan base of
millions to prop it up
um so when Raw goes to Netflix it’s
going to boost
Netflix exponentially because because
people aren’t going to be able to live
twet raw if they don’t have
Netflix and absolutely right about that
and then they can probably take away the
pay-per-views and library from peacock
because that deal will
expires later that year I think or it’s
the following year um and Nick khon kind
of teased like maybe it goes to Netflix
or maybe stays on peacock and that’s
just we’re able to have our hands two

two different forms of Revenue we we’ll
get NBC money and we’ll get Netflix
