I’m wondering if as you look back on the
period of time since you went over to
Liv to now um how you would describe the
experience and what are the things that
you maybe miss about not being around
the tour anymore and around the guys and
and competing against the shefflers and
you know Ries
Etc you know actually it’s a good
question I haven’t given it that much
thought because I’ve been so focused on
on what I have to do myself uh I mean
there’s no secret I’ve mentioned a few
times there some venues that I miss now
being at uh not only because I won but
just
because I love it right and that’s the
reason why I’ve played well in those
tournaments uh not being a Palm Springs
Tory Phoenix and La wasn’t the easiest
and I’ll keep saying that because those
are venues that I absolutely love and
driving by Phoenix as often as I had to
seeing the St and and knowing that I
wasn’t going to be there was was quite
hard right
um it’s know I still love the PGA Tour
and I still hope everything the best and
I still hope that at some point I can
compete I can compete there again
um and yeah I mean you do Mis competing
against certain people right uh but at
the end of the
day I’ve had so much to focus on the
dynamic a little bit has changed
obviously I’m I’m I’m a team leader a
team captain to an extent because still
golf They I can’t really influence what
they do in the golf course uh and a lot
of good to a lot of positive to look
forward to right I’ve had a lot of fun
playing in those events uh the
competition still there yeah there
smaller Fields but you still have to be
some of the best players in the world
and uh you still have to play at the
same level you have to play on the PJ
tour to win those events so that doesn’t
change and uh it’s uh it’s been fun to
be part of a team it’s one of the
driving factors to for me to make the
change uh it’s fun to be a part of uh a
family and and part of
uh part of a common goal as a team right
and uh enjoying those team victories has
been really really fun you know the
usually on a Sunday like last week I
wouldn’t have been thrilled by the way I
finished uh not that I would have been
sad or upset but I wouldn’t have been
thrilled and you know had had a team
goal to actually celebrate I mean that
is actually kind of fun and uh something
that I was jealous of from many other
sports right when when you win as an
individual right like take it here for
example last year uh you do all your
commitments you wake up the next day and
that’s it it’s like there’s a a shared
emotion after that like you like you see
when when a team maybe wins a Super Bowl
or the NBA finals or the World Series
you mentioned you mentioned team are you
concerned about even it’s a year plus
away about what the rider cup situation
would be for you since that’s so special
am I concerned yeah I hope I can be
there I hope I play well enough to earn
my weather and if I have to be picked I
hope I can get picked yeah I want to be
there that’s definitely uh something I I
want to do and I don’t want to miss

  1. Bro shouldn’t have left, should’ve enjoyed his prime on the PGA and then got his money move towards the end of his career, same as Mickelson.

  2. Playing one less round versus softer fields on easier courses is NOT “the same level of competition” no matter how badly you want it to be. Hurts being pulled from all those commercials, eh, Jonny? Of all the ones who sold their souls for blood money, you could’ve had the greatest legacy…but you sold that, too

  3. Lots of brainwashed sheep in the comments here hating on Rahm and LIV. The pro-PGAT media prey on the weak minded who are incapable of thinking critically on their own and need their golf opinions spoon-fed without questioning the shameless hypocrisy 🐑🐑🐑
