I’ve all been waiting a while to get my
hands on
this ping
g430 10K 10K 10,000 m tail maer said it
ping have said
it where will manufacturers go from here
we’ll jump into that a little bit later
on in the video but this is the new
version of the g430 as you can see in
that little top corner right there it is
the
10K it’s very forgiving but you knew
that right you knew this driver was
forgiving why did we know this driver
was forgiving because ping
make extremely forgiving drivers well
firstly what makes this different to the
the others is this price tag
£600 just going to put it out there that
is a piss tag for a multitude of reasons
and reason number one being that it is
£70 more expensive than the next most
expensive driver on the
market block that one a little bit and
reason number two being I feel extremely
sorry wesy being one of them for all the
people that bought the Ping g430 Max
driver not knowing that this thing even
existed at the time get in the comments
let me know if you think that is a
little bit cheeky now don’t get me wrong
I’m not bashing it to an extent Because
I’m Happy the driver is here I’m happy
the Ping g430 10K has been released an
even more forgiving version of what was
arguably the most forgiving driver on
the market fantastic news but it is a
little bit wrong from ping in my opinion
to release the g43 family and then just
leave leave their Ace card for a year
after not even a year maybe 8 nine
months after but for those who are
looking for a new driver you’re spoiled
for choice this year with everything
that’s on the
market oh it’s absolutely pummeled but
should you be getting the g430 10K well
let’s just do a little experiment shall
we no cuts no edits 10 golf balls in a
row I’ll speed up in the middle how
forgiving is this driver so we’ve got
five there four we’ve got our cluster of
10 at the bottom I’m going to hit a shot
speed it up hit a shot speed it up hit a
shot let’s see how many of these with me
going after it not trying to Fairway
find let’s see how many of these
actually hit the Fairway but let’s also
pay attention to how far they’re going
and what the spin rate is you ready I’m

rough but I’m going to give it Fairway
cuz it was still pretty
good bad swing good

found 10 out of 10 so now I want to buy
it 10 out of 10 Fairways hit with the
g430 max 10K now you can see there was
no editing fanciness there I usually do
miss a few of my drives I’m not the most
consistent of drivers of the golf ball
wouldn’t say I’m a bad driver of the
golf ball for people who aren’t familiar
who I who with who I am I’m actually
from the golf supply I currently play
off of plus one so I’m a decent level of
golf but I would to say driving is my
strongest point of my game so to see the
ball hit the Fairway 10 times out of 10
with a good five of them as You’ have
seen being ripped down the middle I take
that for numbers that ain’t bad and it
ain’t bad for Speed either it’s getting
up over 170 mph ball speed which is what
I look for in a drive
the spin rate is very good 2,700 I hit
down in it quite a bit sometimes four
down when it gets bad so hitting that
that down on the golf ball I’ve got a 10
and a half degree head that I’m hitting
with but still getting 2,700 spin is
Uber impressive but just to preface that
the qi1 the AI smoke um both produced in
the max heads both both produced extreme
forgiveness good distance and a very
good spin rate so this isn’t this isn’t
solely just coming out of the Ping 10K
we are getting it in other drivers as
well but it is a little bit more
forgiving it is we’ve done the qi1 now
we’ve done the AI smoke now mainly from
the size of the head it’s big it is very
big as a direct comparison to the
standard this being the 10K this being
the standard can you see the size
difference
there it’s quite significantly bigger
obviously the other differences as well
you’ve got the carbon fly wrap
technology that goes all the way around
the back of the 10K uh I think you only
got that on the LST version of the g430
might be completely wrong on that don’t
think I am but I might be but it’s
extremely forgiving and it’s performing
very very well does that justify the
£600 price tag I don’t think so I don’t
think the performance
is70 better than the qi1 or the AI smoke
but maybe is it see this 10K thing now
this 10K thing got like a little
conspiracy theory about it how much of
it is Placebo and how much is it is the
marketing that they’re feeding to us us
just believing it’s a lot more of a
stable face therefore just putting more
committed swings onto it now don’t get
me wrong bloody good driver at a dress
as pings always do frustratingly sits
closed a little bit tow in not the best
look for
me but it absolutely bombs and you can’t
miss a fairway with it is this better
than the others I don’t
know that was right out the toe it
probably is it pains me to say it cuz I
don’t think it’s the best looking by far
it’s not the best looking I think the AI
smoke wins the beauty
pageant and it really isn’t it gripes me
because it’s not a new driver it is a
new driver but it’s not a new driver
ping is it it’s the
g430 but it is better than the
g430 oh it’s so annoying and I do feel
for you at home get in the comments if
you bought the g430 max LST sft comment
on this video and let me know how you
feel about ping releasing this 10K much
later on but being in the same family of
drivers because I’d say if you are
someone who has bought a g430 LST Max or
sft you might not want to come and hit
this because I feel like you’re going to
want a new driver and that’s another
£600 coming your way after spending
£500 on pretty much the same Club but it
just isn’t as
good yeah I mean
how can I not how can I not play this
driver how can I not put this driver in
the
bag I haven’t missed the shot let’s step
on one let’s see what’s actually in the
tank me got after I’m just gone after it
I can’t miss I cannot miss with it can’t
just keep getting better can it every
single year and if we’ve reached 10K Mii
10,000 Moi the Milestone The Benchmark
if I’ve just hit 35 Drive drives in this
review and I haven’t missed the Fairway
they’ve gone out there most of them
north of 300 yards I’ve hit them from
multiple different places over the face
and it’s performed and found the Fairway
and I haven’t seen crazy spin numbers
and it’s done everything that we wanted
to do where do we now go from here golf
