Nothing will change until the "Old Guard" of Congress is gone. They are the ones controlling these younger members behind the scenes. Either play the game or do not expect any backing on any issue. Term limits will help but not the cure all. Start with the ones that have been around for 40+ years, Grassley, Marke, Wyden, Schumer, Rodgers, Smith, Hoyer, Durbin, and Kaptur. That's 6 dems and 3 Rep. Then get rid of the 30 year plus contingent which includes Pelosi and then the 20 year gang. Limit to 2 terms, (12 years) then a hand shake and a rolex watch as they walk out the door. Rodgers is so correct on the inside trading fiasco, they should all be indicted and tried. Once these politicians realized they could become millionaires by just sitting on their asses and introducing and passing legislation this country became vulnerable. All the infighting they do is nothing but smoke and mirrors.
