Bryson is the Steph Curry of golf. Revolutionary, data based evidence player who didn’t follow conventional wisdom and instead created his own method on how to succeed. When he’s on, he’s a human cheat code. 99.9% of those mad at him for “defecting”, would have taken that exact same contract without a moments hesitation.
Great player obviously, hugely impressive even back in his amateur days as a Walker Cup player, and brave enough to go with what his intelligence was telling him about the golf swing and his own path to success.
Bryson is my fav golfer right now. The guy has a good personality and is a great golfer.
So strange to hear from LIV players how unfair and divisive golf has become when they created the whole problem in the first place? You quit the tour and went to work for another employer and then for some reason demand and want access to any PGA tour events that peaks your interests when your not playing the team exhibition tour that guarantees you lots of money regardless of results? These being 54 hole no cut events. Several top LIV players are very good players clearly but didn't they chose to leave for more money and less work?

Did I just hear Bryson say…FAN???!!! Has He lost his mind? My God…does he not know at Augusta National that word is not to be uttered by ANYONE at ANY TIME!!! He immediately corrected his mistake and used the proper term for THIS event, PATRON. It's entertaing AND annoying watching the commentators awkwardly fumble there way trying to be PROPER…specifically, Augusta Proper. I know the proper term to describe those responsible for such nonsense but I'm a proper low life and not worthy enough to share it with these arrogant A$$HOLES!
The tricky part of it all is that we have the Saudi gov., paying for athletes in golf to play for way more money than the business earns in advertising. They want to buy the sport, and they have to a degree done this. If the Saudis had come to the NFL and given Brady $500M to play pickle ball, he'd have left the NFL. It's not complicated, but it sucks. Bryson is really a neat and awesome athlete, but he's given up some of the competitive atmosphere for all the money in the world. It's his life.
All the players themselves need to sit down, not just a few that I believe were not even chosen by the players. Argue, shout, call out one another, fight if need be, but sit down together. Do not let a few individuals talk for you, you ALL need to be heard.
LIV players should only play in LIV tournaments.
The chambeeno does disappearing acts, its nice when he is striping it, but all too often he does not know where the ball is going.

The thing I don’t get about liv and I’ll respect the franchise team thing but I honestly don’t want to see golf turn into the nfl or something I don’t see how that makes since I rather see player vs player and that’s it college golf and amateur golf teams make since Oregon ducks vs Oklahoma state cowboys that makes since just not in precessional I feel like idk it’s such an individual sport in first place and bro no one would have went to liv of not for the money just because it is this radical idea in the first place

How do you "make this fair for both sides" when one side has unlimited dollars and has no need to make a profit? Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.wants to buy the game of golf so as to control the game of golf. There are not two equal sides here.
I've never been a Bryson fan…but that is a very well spoken and well said response. But i still think he'd be a better putter and a better short iron player if he used a more traditional stroke/swing. But hey he's leading the Masters after two days so he certainly is having success.
