Playing the front 9 at the stunning Salgados Golf Course in Albufeira, Portugal.
The final course of the Portugal 2019 golf trip featuring myself (@openstancegolf), Ben, Shilst and James – and it was definitely a case of saving the best for last! We started on the 10th hole (so this is our back 9) as the course was busy – it is a very popular course, it’s easy to see why. There is the odd bit of banter in there as usual…we were there for fun, and it definitely was that.
With almost every hole framed by lot of water and towering pine trees, the links at Salgados is easily one of the most scenic courses I have ever played – the guys all agreed.
Let’s be honest, none of us did it justice with the way we played but it was still a truly beautiful course to play and I’d 100% recommend you tee it up there if you’re planning a trip there.
