Jimmy Van is super wrong. He almost sounds like one of those bad faith critics from people who don't watch AEW and want it to fail. But I get his point, that he wants to see the ALL IN footage benefit somebody in-story, in kayfabe. I think it will, since it's the Young Bucks, the HEEL EVP's, sharing it on TV. When Jimmy said that he didn't see any of the shots WWE personnel took at AEW, then I moved him from bad faith.. to ignorant.
CM Punk (and WWE) put AEW in the media cycle during Wrestlemania, and AEW is using it to gin up ratings. That's a great business move, and those same bad faith critics are trying to monetize this as well with all their "AEW SUCKS" videos.
I could see a situation where the Bucks are in the Ring saying they're gonna show the footage now and then they get jumped by FTR before it happens. Then people will watch next week to see it and they can say we'll show it at the PPV, so they can get a buy rate and two TVs out of it.
The fact that Tony needs punk to bring up ratings on the 2nd worst draw rating wise of his EVPs is damn laughable. Especially considering the 1 person who created AEW just broke records this last weekend. Helll the creator sold 1 million dollars of merchandise that week. Oh and then add Jade in to that mix and damn the devil cm punk literally drew 200k less viewers for a whole damn show called dynamite just to cut a promo. You know what I’ve learned? Smart fans can’t book for shit. Dave and Tony both look like Vince Russo now
My guess the tape is going to set up Jack Perry and why he is called the scapegoat.
I won't be watching because it's only one side of the story and unless I see the original security video it means nothing.
I get the bucks don't like Punk but if they are dirty enough to air the video then they're dirty enough to doctor it before they air it and any video can be doctored!

Sorry but I completely disagree that this is a good thing to release this footage. If TK TRULY was doing it for a good reason, he would have released this months ago. Not 8 months after said incident because someone who is supposed to be a CEO is throwing a temper tantrum because someone said something they didn't like. I think it's fricken dumb as hell. And I honestly wouldn't put it past the Bucks to alter/editthis footageto make them and Jungle Jackass look good.
And this completely undermines the rah-rah speech Copeland did last week. Just shows how immature so many people are in that company.
Don't get me wrong, I love AEW…watch Dynamite and Collision almost every week. But there are some things they are good with and more they need to correct/work on.

I think we are going to see Jack Perry return soon in the Elite. Would not be surprised for Perry to interfere during Dynasty. I think AEW should be able to respond in which ever way to the Punk interview. I hope Perry tosses him around. Punk is the ultimate fake tough guy. Most over rated wrestler in history. The Nielson ratings a lot less then what people think. Most human beings under the age of 40 do not have cable so how is Nielson rating relevant? There are different ways that companies get ratings. Views on social media, tweets, you tube are all part of the new equatioN. In a year when WWE goes to Netflix they Nelson ratings are going to go down but there product might get more views

AEW is fast turning into a heel promotion
I don't think the shots were at AEW or that big of a deal. I think the agenda for the week was to distance the WWE from Vince as much as possible.
1. HHH, saying our only competition is our past isn't a shot. Everyone says it. Everyone compares the current run to the Attitude era and not AEW.
2. Cole said the internet marks thing was a retaliation to the AEW video announcement.
3. Pat McAfee's 600 comment is open to interpretation. On face value, it's a shot at AEW, but he was talking about Dom getting fired and I don't think Dom will join AEW if that happens. Dom will possibly go to TNA, which actually has 600 people in the audience.
4. Punk was asked about the thing in an interview. He just answered to the best of his knowledge.
I don't remember any other shots.
Why would Rollins get so emotional? Im gonna say its probably because he dropped a title he's carried for almost a year at Wrestlemania and now he's taking time off late in his career to rehab his knee.

I know SRS likes to give people the benefit of the doubt. But it's possible for people to say one thing and their actions reflect another, i.e……lie. it's clear through Tony's ACTIONS that he is still bothered by the Punk thing. We should believe what we see if it directly contradicts what he says.

This was probably the worst episode of Dynamite since their existence. They might get a quick ratings pop for Punk but long term I think their television deal is in trouble if they keep trending in the wrong direction. Tony Khan is a terrible booker and an even worse businessman.
