NFL Mock Draft 2024: Daniels concerns; Surprise QB in top-10 | Rotoworld Football Show (FULL SHOW)

Patrick Daugherty (@RotoPat), Denny Carter (@CDCarter13) and Kyle Dvorchak (@kyletweetshere) go long on Kyle’s latest mock draft, beginning with his mocking of LSU’s Jayden Daniels to the Commanders at No. 2. They debate the likelihood of the first four picks all being quarterbacks, if J.J. McCarthy is as “safe” as the recent draft chatter would lead people to believe, and if Bo Nix might sneak into the top 10, specifically to Las Vegas. They also ponder if Marvin Harrison Jr. is still the consensus WR1 and if Brock Bowers will make it out of the top 10. They end by discussing Denny’s recent article on what they hope is a more pass-happy Houston Texans offense. Along the way, they sweat someone by the name of “Austin Eckroat” as Denny and Kyle commiserate about the Masters. #nbcsports #nfl #fantasyfootball

  1. Sono grato per l'opportunità di connettermi e di essere ispirato dalle incredibili donne di questa comunità. È un privilegio imparare e crescere insieme.😘

  2. JJ McCarthy is going to fall. Get ready to see him go from "shaking his head with a smile" to "sad pouting face" somewhere around pick 18.

  3. Jayden has better passing numbers than Richardson. Just because LSU didnt need him to pass to the middle of the field because their best players were on the outside doesn't mean he can't

  4. I think Jayden Daniels’ talent works perfectly in the NFL. I watched his Pro Day (PD) twice and was mesmerized. But there was a throw he made in a game where he reminded me so much of Dan Marino. The ball came out so quickly and it had smoke too and the receiver not only had an easy catch but RAC yards too because the DBs couldn’t converge on the throw. Jayden is a little lean but it might be like taking Marino as a passer and giving him near-Lamar running talent too. But whoever takes him I’d recommend minimizing his running. You want a QB like Jayden to prioritize passing and taking the fewest number of hits possible. But I think Jayden might be this year’s CJ Stroud.

  5. CJ Stroud to Diggs will be interesting. CJ has nearly as good of an arm as Josh Allen — CJ was clocked at 59 MPH while Josh is 62 — but CJ has a quicker release and is more careful with the football. I suspect that CJ’s Load-to-Arrival (LTA) time on “usual” NFL throws is actually slightly better than Josh’ because of that combination of release and arm strength. I think that Josh is an awesome passer but in reality CJ is probably more consistently accurate. But I doubt you’ll see Diggs getting mad at CJ very often really. That pair might just light it up. The Texans have a legit Super Bowl shot if they stay healthy and don’t let success go to their heads. I’m assuming CJ just gets better which is bad news for other teams.
