The Golf Channel isn’t much of a golf channel. The Masters is in play and we are listening to commentators for 8 hours. No thanks. I’ll just watch cbs. Terrible channel
Golf is better when Will Z is contending!!
The herniated disc that happened in January 1986 really slowed me down. I could barely walk. I was medically evacuated from my island job to the Straub Clinic in Honolulu for a week of treatment and a daily shot of morphine. I was sent home to Dr. DiMartino at the Long Beach Memorial Hospital who ended up giving me a Chymopapain injection (enzyme of the papaya plant) in February 1986. It was a miracle, and I went back to work in 2 weeks and ran my 1st of 7 consecutive Honolulu Marathons in December 1986. I ended up with 44 marathons including Boston in 1990. Too bad the drug was no longer in use after 2003! Sorry, Will went for a laminectomy which has a longer recovery time. Mine was not without risks as the drug can injure the spine.
