What did you expect? Any other tests for them? 👍🏌️♂️
as someone who has a low driver club speed and hits a lot of balls at the practice range…..could you do some type of test on which make " range " balls go the farthest , and for what swing speed….thanks
Seeing as these are not the same balls, and one has a thicker cover as well as different core, the entire starting premise is wrong.
Easier to sit a ball a third of the way in water for a few weeks in a cup, then hit it and see if it rolls and flies straight or, I dont know, got heavier? Since you can weigh the same ball twice?
i have used recycled golf ball for the last 30 years. we have a store in the area that sells them. i would like to know if you lose any distance because the ball has sat either in the sun or in water?
I was curious did the same with some refurbished golf balls recently on a more accurate scale than you used. Pretty much the same result. They were all ProV1s. The refurb balls averaged only about 0.3% heavier.
An interesting test would have been – drop the balls on a hard concrete surface and see if they sound any different.
