  1. Speed = separation. So lack of speed can lower the ranking of a player. It's why Tyreek Hill 5'9" WR is such a gem- and he can catch😊

  2. Agreed. But wow, I’ll tell ya, Bruce Irvin, defensive end from West Virginia worked out at the combine and was noticeably more explosive than anyone (FANS) outside of Morgantown has known. “All he does is Rush The Passer” said so many “experts”-yeah-Jimmy Johnson said “give me a franchise quarterback first, then give me somebody who can go get him.” Pete Carrol, who knew him from having recruited him, took him with the 15th overall selection. No Trust me, that stunned virtually all experts; Skip Bayless, the “idiot who never played”, was the lone exception. No way that happens without the combine. He has a solid career, and while his draft number was high, he made far more money, and despite his insanely overblown “character questions”, had one on field ugly moment. It just Happened to be seen by over 100 million people. It was instigating a fight and being tossed following the greatest and most consequential defensive play in Super Bowl history. So he was worth the pick.

  3. John is so wrong on MHJr, dude is a generational prospect at WR. He has easily the best tape of any receiver in the draft, and he had the fastest on field MPH of any receiver this year in college football and he’s 6’4”. There will always be teams who will want to be different and not have him as the #1 receiver on the board. But that’s the same reason there always teams who are at the bottom of the league year after year.

  4. Based on Bert breers reporting not only did Marvin Harrison say last year he would not be doing a pro day this year, he also reported teams told him they didn’t need to see anything else from him. Weird how people are trying to make this a negative thing when he’s been considered a can’t miss prospect since early last year.

  5. Here’s my question with Marvin: did him not working out hurt draft stock on any of his teammates at OSU who declared as well? Because I read that because he didn’t work out, there was 0 team representatives present at their pro day.

  6. John's logic is solid here on Marvin the receiver's in this draft are really deep. Arizona might pick him at #4 or they might pick a different receiver. Very interesting indeed. 💯👍🇺🇸

  7. 100% with you on the NBA John. I used to be a HUGE NBA fan. Ever since 2018 it has gone way downhill competitively in the regular season

  8. You were a scout… how can you say with such confidence that decision makers don’t care if he sits out the process? There are GMs (past and current) on record saying it does make a difference. Teams are definitely more skeptical of drafting him than they were prior to the combine m.

  9. So it’s a coincidence the day after he doesn’t workout and has his dad interview in his place the Cardinals announce they’re open to trading the #4 pick? Don’t think so

  10. Marvin Harrison doesn’t have high end explosive speed ?? He was clocked at 22.9MPH last season, that’s pretty explosive high end speed. Harrison runs in the high 4.3s low 4.4s, And that shows up on tape which is why he has no reason. He has said he runs high 4.37, he’s not running a 4.5 or 4.6 or whatever u said.
You’re the first guy I’ve ever heard say Harrison isn’t a generational WR, he most def is and is every bit as good as Larry was coming out. To say he’s going between 7th and 12th is straight laughable even more so than he won’t be the first off the board.
Harrison is going 4th overall to AZ unless they for some reason trade back for picks, in that case no chance he gets past Harbaugh at 5.

  11. Calvin Johnson was superman!! His measurables were insane and his film showed the dominance. I agree..harrison is good but not a leviathon.

  12. Not doing any of the events puts pressure on yourself to produce. At least if you went to the event like everybody else, you wouldn’t have unnecessary questions about why you didn’t do it. When you go into the league and you don’t produce how yiur projected, they can’t look back at the pro day or combine and say dang teams should of compared him to other athletes on the field. They trust themselves so we shall see.

  13. Have to disagree on Marvin Harrison Jrs ceiling. Dudes got a very high ceiling. Taking into account he had top production catching passes from Kyle McCord who we would all agree wasn’t a top 20 QB in college football last year. He’s got very good potential to be a top WR in the league in the next 5 years

  14. Do people not realize Harrison runs faster than Tyreek game speed and he's like 6ft 4. I know fuck all but Joel klatt Really thinks he can be the best receiver in the league pretty soon. And klatt knows college football better than anybody else.and I'm a michigan fan that's watch every osu game for the past 20 years. Whoever passes on him and picks another receiver WILL regret it.

  15. Harrison’s teammates stood to gain something by his trotting out there…more scouts would’ve been present.

Caleb understands this, which is why he threw 50 soft balls to his receivers and 32 teams watched

  16. It would be absolutely crazy if MHJ falls to the Bears. It could happen. Remember everyone thought the bears would take jalen carter last year. They traded down and STILL could have gotten him!! If a team like giants take a QB or vikings trades up AND nabors and odunze has insane pro day, it could happen

  17. Honestly I don’t know why more players like Harrison Jr don’t intentionally try to hurt their draft stock so they fall to a better team
