  1. John was spot on in his assessments. Golf tournaments are better when guys like Scheffler, Clark, and Schauffele are in contention. Having Scheffler shooting a 64 to win was spectacular

  2. Check your archives, told you this week Scheffler was going B2B earlier in the week on Go Low here when you made your picks

  3. Hey John I love all the videos you do, watch a ton of your NFL stuff usually. Love your rational approach to things and the way you keep things logical and not clickbaity. Only thing I would say is I wish you’d use the phrase “PGA Tour” instead of “PGA.” They are actually 2 different entities, they split in the 60s or something. While pretty much everyone knows what you’re talking about, it can be nails on a chalkboard for the golf snobs or hardo’s that may find your show interesting. I still love your content and will continue to watch and support. Thanks for what you’re doing and the style you do it with. Even the droplets of real world and career advice is helpful. Thank you

  4. Appreciate the recap, John. Was in NY last week with sports fan friends and family and found myself giving you many recs! ✌️Eric

  5. Only exciting thing about golf is someone in my foursome making a money putt….its not a spectator sport anymore.

  6. When it comes to course conditions, the best grass and courses I’ve played have all been in deserts where it takes work to exist.
Where I lived in the deserts of Wyoming, they had great course conditions because it takes a lot of work. Same when I e golfed down in the deserts of Utah.
But in the Midwest, where I currently live, they get enough rain that it seems the cpurse managers just let things grow pretty naturally, with the results being not as great as a well groomed course in the desert. They just let nature do its thing.
There certainly are some courses where they pride themselves in curating the grass and making it a magnificent experience, but that seems more the exception than the rule.

  7. Unrelated: I watch John because of his nfl takes and I love them. However, I watch all his stuff everyday and sometimes need more of his content to watch. Watching this golf podcast trying to get into it but I cannot for the life of me get into golf. Anyone else?
