  1. I’ll be in Murrell’s Inlet in May. Please help. I am so frustrated. I don’t know what to do.

  2. Tom, you are a golfing genius. I have spent years worrying about my take away and body mechanics any you've taken that all away in one short video. Just move your left arm across your chest, keep your weight on your left and let rip. Just been up the range and it works. Now all I'm thinking about is a making a full and easy swing and visualising the ball path. You have just changed my life. Yes, this is now fun! Thank you.

  3. I figured you enjoy hearing success stories, so heres mine. have been absolutely flushing golf balls at the range for 3 straight days. Straight shots, slight draws, slights cuts with my new 4 and 6 iron and 54° wedge off terrible weathered mats with terrible range balls. Even demo'd a zx5 and zx7 mk2 driver. The only problem I was having was DISTANCE. I couldn't get the driver past 175 carry and both my 4 and 6iron were either 145 (no wind) or 125 with 20+mph headwind. No matter WHAT, that was all the distance I coukd get. I drive a total of 270 total with a carry of 230 to 250 back home. Today I couldn't stand it, I know I'm flushing the ball, no distance, so I asked the older guy working on the range ball machine what was tge deal… He asked me… Do you see a net?? NOPE. That hill out there is about 225 yards away, can you hit a driver over 225? Yup!! He said, on the other side of that hill people are playing golf. These balls are LIMIITED RANGE golf balls and fly 75% shorter. The balls were NERFED!! I finally get to go home in a few days (been gone now almost 7 months) and I can't wait to absolutely take my friends money with all the things I have worked on. Just wanted to say THANK YOU TOM SAGUTO, you are to many of us THE BEST INSTRUCTOR who plays guitar. I will let you know sometime after Easter how it is going. After I finish building my bag, I will strongly consider signing up. Rock on, keep em crispy and again… THANK YOU!!!!

  4. When I started tucking my right elbow and taking my left arm around my body, it changed my game over night. Saguto’s swing is easy on the body and the closest to pure consistent crispiness this 56 yr old will get to!! Thanks Tom for keeping it simple.

  5. Thanks again. Because of you I’m on a heater. For me. I’m 54 I’ve played 6 rounds at my muni track this year. 80-85. And we aren’t even to April near Chicago . Man U rock. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

  6. Careful not to have a shallow inside swing plane. Always pretend there is water up to waist height and get the hands and club head above that water height that's the most important thing in the backswing. Do not ever swing inside and below this imaginary hip water level. There should be separation of the right elbow from the body at top of the swing, do not keep your right elbow tucked in as is taught here.

  7. Can you also do a segment on the proper ball set up from the club at address when you set up to the ball how far you should be from the ball on all the clubs when I hit the perfect shot it feels effortless and feels just right

  8. Hey Tom, with all these great videos available for free. Is there still incentive to sign up for your online membership??? Might pull the trigger on that soon 👀

  9. Great lesson! For you golfer/ guitarist check out Tom's Rockin' Guitar lessons on YT! Awesome job Tom!

  10. THE best drill for an ‘around ‘ swing is hitting an effortless swing with only your lag (right hand in this case) arm. You have to tuck in your right arm, keep your right wrist flat/back/cocked, your swing flat and inside…..and you just turn.

I was a ‘puller’ (left arm dominant) arms/upper body golfer for decades until I found this feeling of a flatter turn; exactly what he’s saying. It’s the best way to hit the ball.

  11. No one has helped me more than Tom. I haven't paid for his course "yet" but just his videos have changed my game so much. Love you Tom!!!

  12. Nearly every pro golfer swings such that the humerus bone is parallel with the clavicle bone. This is what I'm seeing in your demo as well. My problem is I get too wild when I try to take a full back swing. Think John Rahm.

  13. As odd as this may sound, I can only seem to make good contact when my trail elbow IS NOT glued to my side. I’m the guy who gets the hands somewhat high, and brings them back down. It helps me stay loose. Granted, I’m not always consistent and my impact position doesn’t look exactly like Hogan; however, I can manage my way around the course for now.

That said, I need to work on this during the off-season as I’m sure this type of swing will provide a more consistent swing longterm. I find that I’m too tense when staying glued, even if I try to stay loose sometimes causing shanks way right. 🤷‍♂️

    Love your content Tom!

  14. It's wonderful to see your brown scapular in certain other videos, along with a crucifix on top of a tv and Lehodey's The Ways of Mental Prayer next to that tv in a certain video I just watched on your website. Hence I'm now promoting you on the Community page of my channel here.

  15. Boy between this and the common teaching of "lift your arms, then drop them straight down, then rotate from your left hip while keeping your right hip back, and make sure you time your release to a half a millisecond" I know which one I'm choosing.

  16. How do you make sure your left arm goes around the body arc? I see in the video it goes around the chest and inside on the takeaway. Maybe what I'm asking is what do you think of when trying to swing in the circle arc? I just feel I have mastered it yet.

  17. Been following for awhile, this clicked after seeing this and doing a lot of Hogan research. I was having a massive problem with overswinging or really collapsing at the top because I was too vertical, lost a bunch of yards even though I am stronger now. Switched to this style of swing, and not only is it effortless, it's literally impossible to overswing or collapse because of the right elbow. Talk about adding 20 yards to every club. Now the only time I raise my right arm is to drink my beer.

  18. I've been playing golf for around 35 years, and I've never even heard of whatever "traditional" swing he was describing in the beginning of this video.

  19. I must be doing something wrong cause it doesn’t work for me. Chunks, blocks and pull hooks.

  20. Going streaking on the range!!😂😂
My trail arm is good, but will focus on the lead arm! Great tip! Going to the range today.

  21. Are we ever thinking about bowing the wrist during the backswing? Or are the wrists in the right position based off your set up?
