I remember when Alex Smith's rookie year as well as Eli Manning's both QBs had issues at the start and it took both of them a while to be the QBs that they ended up as. With Eli Manning I remember he was afraid to take a hit and he put his hands up to help protect himself and he ended up fumbling the ball away quite a few times and with Alex Smith he had issues handling the QB center exchange.
lets stop with the philly pittsburgh comparison there is none. yes pitt is a more accomplished franchise but over the last 2 decades philly has been better and just for context these teams have played one another recently with the same rosters and philly came out on top,, pickens and johnson are good but when have either of them had 1000+ in the same season? or even a 1000 period?

1. AD and LT played 2 different positions, comparing them is impossible and stupid.
2. Making a case for AD as best defense player ever by saying people planed coverages just for him – nothing new to eagles and redskins when they were playing the giants back then
3. Just because the game changed and more games are squeezed in a season and therefore its "easier" to reach certain numbers or recaords, we cant forget about people that played in the nfl prior to 2000. Its disrespectful and shows a lack or lauiness of reserching the footage and only judging by things you have seen first hand
