  1. C'mon Julian, I know you're feeding the man questions but we all know Bill Daly is a BS artist, you're forcing CJ to say it without saying it 😉
The Trashers were staying in Atlanta remember? A month later they were in Winnipeg.

  2. CJ had the icing backward. The defending team who iced the puck does get a warning. If that team gets a second violation it's even a penalty. The proposed rule change is the offensive team would get a warning vs now they just get thrown out.

  3. All or Nothing would have worked if it was actually all or nothing. Nothing happened after they collapsed. Maybe we misinterpreted the title either they win it all or do nothing when they don't 🤦‍♂️

  4. Fighting : There is no good reason for fighting to remain in hockey if referees and Player Safety actually do their job. Some penalties will probably need to increase. It comes dòwn to saving lives and the quality of life.

  5. What exactly does a GM in an international tournament do? Don't see a lot of trades or free agency signings happening

  6. I don't understand the fighting argument. Hits to the head were far more rampant when guys like Simon played. Even non-fighters have CTE from pre-lockout hockey.

Unless you decide to make the game absolutely no contact, this will happen.

  7. Going to keep suggesting this as a more fun alternative to imposing playoff salary caps: any player acquired within two weeks of the trade deadline has no cap hit for the new team for that season. Then there's no more LTIR shenanigans because anyone can play at the deadline.

  8. People always complain about hockey players having no personality but then these shows want to follow the top players that have the most pressure to maintain a certain image so most come off as not having any personality. They should follow some bottom 6 guys a lot of them are hilarious tons of personality. Or follow around some goalies and show us if they're really as crazy as people think.

  9. Love the show as always, but please don't refer to it as him "Passing away". This man took his own life because of the suffering he was going through directly due to his role and time in the sport. Passing away makes it sound like he peacefully had a heart attack in his sleep, it really hides the terrifying reality of what this great man must have been experiencing. Especially with all the NHL and other major sports have done over the last 30 years to hide the evidence of C.T.E

  10. I think the salary cap in the playoffs is working as intended. The cap in the first place was implemented to curtail player salaries first and foremost, and now LTIR benefits selling teams and buying teams.
