Dimitrov played awesome and had a good game plan. Perhaps players are learning that Alcarez backhand is often just a rally shot… it was falling short around the service line often in this match.

Can't believe people are saying Grigor is better than Federer in a few aspects! Federer barely lost sets to Grigor leave alone matches! Federer's grace in footwork and movement, smoothness during rallies, forehand power, serve accuracy, volleying skills, variety of plays – Grigor won't even come close to that level ever!!!
This match would have been totally different had Alcaraz broke back at 2-0 in the first set or had he held serve at 4-5 in the second set!!
