I love his approach to each at-bat! So exciting to have such a talented player like him!
I think he's just getting warmed up. He said in interviews in spring training that he hadn't played baseball in 7 months. He was rusty. AND he was having issues getting used to the faster pitching. But it seems he's getting the hang of it. Now that the season is underway, I feel he's only going to get better, more consistent and his confidence is probably thru the roof right now.

Even if nobody likes what I say about the Padres, too bad. They did not even flinch to help Wilmer when he was falling in. He could not get up right away. Padres showed a lack of human feel. I think as human beings most of them are real stinkers. Sickening.
