Welcome back to another edition of who’s your cat e Chief here going solo today Liam’s down in Florida uh he sent me his picks I’ll read them out shortly um so it’ll just be me today we’ll try not to keep it too long lot to go over though um obviously Players Championship first

And foremost Scotty Sheffer wins back toback first player ever to do that incredible ball striking performance stiff neck and all gets it done Windam Clark the utterly worst lip out I’ve ever seen in my life not an exaggeration uh should have been in a playoff there

But was not meant to be Harmon nator stuck throughout and Xander faded per usual which is tough to say because he’s a good guy and I do pull for him uh but he’s got to figure out how to get it done on Sunday so maybe it’ll be this

Week um the Florida swing goes on lot going on just talking about full swing with ELO behind the glass great great job uh to Chad mum and the Netflix guys they did a really phenomenal job covering everything up to the rider cup so ton of going the World of Golf Tigers

Meeting with uh the piff guys down in baham so no shortage of news here we’ll keep you updated on Twitter atpl andl make sure to subscribe here too as well we’re trying to get this out more uh our YouTube presence to be felt between here and Lacrosse our crease crankers guys

Doing a great job as well uh so just stay tuned all of our stuff we’ll have some new merch on the site coming up for the Masters some special edition gear so keep an eye on that bof.com but anyway this week Florida swing rolls on Final

Event here we’ll do this run through the board like we usually do and then I’ll do a brief NCA March Madness bracket full disclosure not an expert in anyway but neither is anyone else in that sort of thing so I’ll give you my thoughts on that and I’ll show you how my bracket

Looks for Now quickly at the end but to start vpar Copperhead at inisbrook one of the hardest courses on tour uh this week PGA is going to be there with a pretty decent field following up the players usually you see the withdrawals coming but not too many Xander still in the

Field as of now Tuesday Morning uh Sammy Burns as well the uh the champion of two years ago backto back following up Paul Casey’s back-to-back championships he’s now at live of course Taylor Moore won last year uh his first PGA win so a few different trends at this really

Difficult course you see treelined bunkers everywhere four par fives uh five par 3es so kind of an interesting difficult setup very similar what we saw last we could US Open style setup the score I don’t think should be much more than a dozen or 15 under par most

Depending on how much the wind picks up Friday right now looks like it could be a little dicey but overall I’m not going to be stacking waves I usually don’t wind wise so when it comes to the outright Market or just a general DFS

Play got a lot of guys you can go to here um like I said before Xander is going to be your top guy in the field is he mentally shot I worry about that a little bit with him and Harmon nator uh you just saw the emotion from them in a

High Stak situation only a couple days before often you see players even if they it kind of fade back a little a little bit in the next tournament uh so I don’t know Xander part of me thinks he just needs to get that monkey off the

Back and get the win 42 straight cuts made now um but needs to win you know Harmon nator won the open last year so he’s fine he’s been okay at this course um little little little worried about his distance here um Xander no worries about that it’s more just is he is he

Going to be locked in can’t lay with Drew already his buddy so but I mean Sammy Burns though looked to make a threee always great here just love it um again one back to back we see repeat Champions and first time winners oddly enough cuz his horse is really difficult

So the guys that do play well here usually continue to do so um as Justin Thomas has and I’ll be going back to him utterly assassinated me last week uh was my highest St guy and just flirted with the cut line the whole time just missed

The cut um was top though in approach before missing the cut which is huge to keep in mind we’ll get down to another guy in the sicko range later that was top in b striking off the te who we going to like so again didn’t make the

Cut but uh his putting was atrocious as has cam young Ben atrocious on the green so I think I’m going to roll with them and hope that the putting uh sorts itself out this week because they both have great records in Florida and in the Carolinas and at Majors and major tough

Difficult courses JT’s got three great finishes here uh should be probably uh scorning a lot of people after his performance at the Players but I think a big thing to keep in mind is you you can’t continue to uh get mad at a guy for not playing well one week he hit the

Ball great and just couldn’t putt it happens you got to move past it and continue on so I’ll be going back to Justin Thomas this week spe not going to get involved with him not playing well uh and again as I told you uh before I

Think he’s a little going to be too embroiled in this PGA live pending merger we’ll see what happens he took over for Rory Rory spoke about that a lot on the full swing which was interesting to see how much that distracted him so I think we may be

Seeing something similar from spe I’m going to have to sprinkle him when we get to Augusta in 25 or so days getting excited for the Masters obviously I have to play speed at Augusta but not sure if I’m going to do it leading up to that so

We’ll see but um you know so just just as a recap at the top cam young and JT and burns you gotta play him here every year so going down a little bit I mean sunjay is maybe playing better not so great so I I’m not not

Going to be on him quite yet F again Romeo the cad he told me he loves him I don’t know if I could do it though just he can’t win it’s it’s tough to watch love the guy um does have one nice top five here but then several miscuts and

Hasn’t played here in a while so I’m a little worried uh again a guy who’s going to be long enough and certainly great with the long irons much better on approach lately so I get it uh from a sprinkling but Nick Taylor uh I think

I’m going back to the well with him he was a Monday misprice again I mean that was more for his value I think his price is actually okay um but he’s playing great T10 here last year here he’s got two wins and seven top 25s in the last

Nine months he won Waste Management which has again the same correlation we saw last week at Saw Grass Bermuda greens with overseed po Tri on top that’s a very special type of grass that makes it a little difficult to put but he’s been great on it Scotty’s been

Great on it so again Nick Taylor Trends aligning um makes a lot of sense to me this week going down Med dog Mitchell gotta sprinkle him uh just for being a Florida difficult course Bez kind of same thing crated approach will’ll keep it in the Fairway most of the time

Keegan you know could be interesting uh so Mr Coy was on him great ball Striker has a runner up here just again another guy that just can’t seem to close the door too often but but had not last year leading up to the Ryder Cup so maybe K

Can find some new form also an interesting correlation to The Travelers championship at TPC River Highlands with these leaderboards I don’t know why other than just difficult uh at points tree line um kind of water hazards abound similar in shape that’s a p die track this isn’t so I don’t know but it

Is an interesting correlation I picked up uh let’s see Doug gim striking the ball really well going to probably have to go continuation play on him was right there again at all grasp you know how much he loves that place um let’s see what else we got

Here mad mcneel and SE the Austrian Bulldog sta both getting the hammer I’m just going to tap the hammer today not going too crazy with that uh with that Liam here it’s it’s just not the same we miss him we do so I mean I like them

Both Taylor Montgomery again sep and MAV are just straight up continuation plays sep always plays well difficult Tree Line Florida Trends aligning he’s back when he plays well he plays well for a while Taylor Moore defending probably go probably sprinkle uh just for being defending champ and we’ve seen that Sammy Burns

And Paul Casey have won four out of the last five years so two doubles back to back interesting for Taylor Mo but I like steps upside this week a little bit better let’s see uh Billy H and Todd to Florida you know East Coast Bermuda

Experts should give you a T20 or T30 Sam Ryder though we love another Hammer play um 7300 obvious continuation play uh Florida State guy so local set the record for the most birdies ever at Saw Grass last week um that’s to take note and it’s playing well and has a

Difficult courses we saw him almost one Tory last year year um when you wouldn’t traditionally think of him as a West Coast difficult course player so uh Sammy Ryder we’re riding the train with him this week no question but um okay Adam shank excuse me as I get some more I’m losing breath

Here cut me Mick all right uh shank runner up last year had to go backwards off the tree Allah home at Riv remember that um so he lost a heartbreaker and he looked back and form him shank was lurking on the weekend a little bit at Saw Grass so interesting I’ll probably

Go back to him handsome Victor Perez the Frenchman 6900 this could be a very sneaky Hammer play right here we love him for years obviously uh dating to his time back uh at St Andrews 16th at PGA National at the cognizant okay he was right there heading into the weekend went down to

Puerto Rico and lurked again there uh so again we saw him lurk at Bay uh excuse me oakill last year for the PGA another long difficult Tree Line golf course so uh the Frenchman’s right there and before I made a an illusion there’s actually a few guys here that I love um

Heading into sio range we have to adjust the sio range though that may have to be 5,000 and down now on DraftKings because they added that new 5K range so six and five there’s over 100 players in the field there uh so where there’s they’re

Only 35 35 players 7,000 and up so 34s of the field pretty much is now below 7K which is very interesting but again still not so many guys uh but there are a few Kevin Yu LED in Strokes gain off the te last week before missing the cut

As JT did in Strokes gain approach so two interesting factors there leads me to believe that they were just horrific from 100 yards in uh you know with their putting especially around the greens but he’s had a great year he’s lurked at the AMX the farmers um you know Farmers

Difficult tree lined uh not so many trees as here more so Coastal but still a difficult course great ball Striker Kevin U we saw him do it in Bermuda uh at the end of the Fall swing last season so I’m gonna go back to the you man and

Jimmy Stanger local Tampa guy again in great form uh was poking his head in towards top the leaderboard uh early on in Saw Grass faded a bit uh but still a solid player uh we’ve seen his game Joel Damon too back now after Netflix and everything profiled him uh such an

Intimate profile of him and he’s back now playing well with was great at Saw Grass popped out of nowhere uh we’ve seen him lur at the US Open and other places so we know he can handle the difficult courses here as well Mac U’s President’s Cup Year got to keep an eye

On that Cory Connors Nick Taylor Mack ugh all these Canadian guys that want to make that team and play in Montreal I got to keep an eye on them the next several months they’re really going to be going full bore he was also fifth off the tea at s grass so again very

Difficult blind t- shots here a lot of trouble the snake pit 16 17 and 18 is what they’re known for uh so maku is an accurate guy we’ve seen him lur at the US Open at Tor remember that a few years ago um pretty good at Riv too so top 30

There another top 30 at Bay Hill MC use makes a lot of sense 6700 uh n Smith 6,500 trending upwards again has a good history here too intriguing Silverman I Gotta Give the edge to n Smith although Silverman makes some sense we’ve seen him lurk uh at

Some of these Florida courses over the last month or so now Matt Wallace had a top 10 at the cognizant uh kind of like him here um he also had a no excuse me he was seventh here and then had a aurk at the Honda as well so nice little

Trend there 6,400 for Maddie Wallace the Iceman that could be interesting uh Dylan woo came back after killing us a few weeks ago came back for a T30 at the Players kind of out of nowhere um again he he kind of up and down much like uh

Kevin U Dylan woo 6200 great putter though um again if we did it last week these greens are pretty similar so um we like a guy that can roll the rock Bryce Garnett continuation play from Puerto Rico onwards great in the wind uh and has been solid off the te and otherwise

So 6200 now entering this new realm of of sio special Ranger here I think there’s a few guys you could play Benji Martin Bermuda Benji I don’t know if I can do it he was t35 at the Players but maybe not going to go there stalling is

Another guy play over here Matty shme was really nice last week at the players that was kind of shocking he’s only 6,000 um so do you go continuation play there I don’t know we’ll see a lot of names down here actually that could Merit play including Troy Meritt

5800 I don’t know if I’m going to do it though personally it might be a little too much malady again has played better but is on that PGA Tour board so I’m not going nuts with these guys that are preoccupied with the live in PGA drama

I’m GNA try to avoid that a bit um and we’ll kind of see what happens but then you got the Belgian Adrien dumon shazar great name add DC will will go with that’s kind of becoming his nickname 5,400 you could go with Molinari who lurked last week at Saw

Grass AR Pisano uh I was good to see him lurking in the background on full swing I don’t know though either these guys Dy 5200 maybe um I mean Adrian’s a special player look good in Puerto Rico um so Uncle Steve Bamford was on him so we

Always respect that maybe a few weeks time but but you know we’re going to roll with Tyson Alexander he was great he was I think five under at one point T-Rex was at Saw Grass Thursday got to 17 uh and just like three poted from four feet or so um the Florida product

Billy Ho’s roommate 5100 I may have to go back to him though again riding the Florida swing was great at the cognizant I keep wanting to call it the Honda and I probably will um and then another Florida Gator to ended here at the bottom 5,000 bare minimum price Fred

Biondi another guy that Coy mentioned was very interesting to me special Gator um I think he’s Brazilian uh Brazilian descent but played at Gainesville so local guy they’re in Tampa this week again as a reminder so any of those Florida guys that have maybe had some extra experience of this course Jimmy

Stanger we mentioned him before um they could be very interesting this week so that’s pretty much it in terms of the board for the Val um so maybe we will transition over to golf uh no we’re already at golf so we’ll take a brief break and then go to basketball um so

Let’s think about that for a second here now that we’re at the golf oh wait I gotta read Liam’s plays stand by okay Joel Damon Hammer from Liam love spe all right Liam’s not reading the news I don’t think but you never know speed has a good history here um and

We’ll be very contrarian so in terms of a large field gpp upside speed could make sense um and then hopping over to basketball dribbling over if you will uh Big East super under respected all right again I mean thanks Captain Obvious look for them to be to represent all right

That’s I like that little narrative we love the Johnny here coach patino Matty P shout out went there as well as some other people we know so they did get disrespected in my humble opinion you can’t tell me that there’s 60 whatever teams better than them in the country

Even with the at large automatic bids I think they got shafted um but coach patino has rebuilt that program in a year so uh you know it’s a shame we didn’t get to see Sorano the big man play uh play in the tournament but it is what it is I

Think they turned down the NIT offer if I’m correct so few teams did that Oklahoma a few of these big schools that just missed out I guess didn’t want to deal with it but uh in terms of this year again not novice in most regards with college basketball um but have kind

Of started checking in the last few weeks Oregon final four run from the 11 seed that’s a bowl call from blaton Liam interesting I had them winning the first game and not much else that is interesting Oregon what do we think about that boys Oregon for seed

No idea yeah me neither I I mean they got that Nike money that could be that could be good for them and Yukon wins back to back all right no no shock there I’m I’m looking right now 26% of brackets in ESPN’s Tournament Challenge have Yukon so far so first off if you

Want to be contrarian you could start by feeding Yukon uh or maybe not a full fade but at least a fade not win back toback although it does seem like they are the most complete overall team and the consensus number one um I’ll run through my regions I have now again

Subject to change this is just what I’m feeling of uh again take it or leave it I do have Yukon uh getting to the final four over Iowa State so I’m going pretty chalk heavy with the top seeds here uh I usually find one or two of the

Lower seeds I love but I don’t really love too many this year unfortunately like BYU if they shoot their threes they can make a run they’re playing the Duane Dukes though uh in the first round a great story from them coach is retiring uh and they haven’t been in since 1977 I

Think so they could be a Cinderella story in the making but if BYU escapes them they’re going to play another uh another three-point shooting team in Illinois that could be interest that could be a shootout you probably like to over in that game but Iowa State’s defense they completely shut down

Houston in the Big 12 Championship so I think Iowa State um they’re the Shockers right no that’s the Witcher State what’s Iowa State Cyclones thank you piss um so I like them I mean they could definitely take down Yukon but just I watched a lot of Yukon this year um played the

Johnnies three times I think so they’re just complete great coach Dan Hurley um the big man Clingan uh kind of that typical hansboro annoying uh big guy in the middle but has to be respected for his talents got a few interesting bigs real bigs Zach e of course with uh

Purdue will get to him but I I think Yukon somehow survives it’s not going to be easy got wurn and San Diego State from last year in the final so I mean that East bracket starting out in Brooklyn I think for them it’s going to be tough but I just they’re the clearcut

Head team and unless Iowa State makes then just totally shuts them down on offense but they got too many weapons uh they really do so I think Yukon finds a way out uh at least of their region and then heading over to the South I I like

Houston here I liked them last couple years um again what Iowa stat I mean they held them under 50 points that that’s alarming to me but their defense might be the best in the country uh I know Francesa our dear old friend loves

Them so I we’ll see if they can do it I think they get out but they have some problems here I’m a Duke guy as most snobby Northeastern people that don’t really follow college basketball are so always got to respect the dukies uh I think John shy is going to be a great

Coach but I don’t know Wisconson could give them trouble in the second round assuming they get past the catam mounts out of Vermont always a Cinderella uh potential for them Nebraska Texas A&M actually interesting story I think the ad left Texas A&M to go to Nebraska so

That could be a little Revenge narrative uh in play so um but again bottoms of the bracket you got Kentucky the Wildcats coach calip Parry has to be respected um got a ton of got three or four first round lottery picks on that team they play Zero defense so nice mold

For the current NBA um I could certainly see them making a run if they get it together uh Florida’s big man horrific foot injury the other day uh that was bad and Marquette their best players injured so a lot of question marks here in the bottom of of the South bracket

But I just think the talent kind of overrides it all with Kentucky and I see them getting to the elite Aid to play Houston uh and again the fact that Kentucky plays no defense if they’re not hitting their shots that day that’s going to be problematic and I think

Houston’s just had a really nice core under Kelvin Samson in the last few years so I think they’ll get to the final four and in fact I I am going to eventually have them taking down Yukon as a bit of a spoiler but just to polish off the bottom half here Midwest region

Again Purdue obviously lost shocking fashion uh as the one seed I think that they’re kind of pissed about that and I think a lot of people are scared to pick them because of what happened but I think the opposite I think they’re going to come through and rally behind their

Big maned who’s developed into I mean an absolute stud and then beast in the middle so they’re not I don’t think really they’re going to have too much trouble getting to the Elite 8 at a minimum this year I think they’re going to be fired up they got Gonzaga and

Kansas two perennial Elite eight and final four teams both with issues Gonzaga not as great as they’ve been in the past but still under Mark Few always dangerous and Kansas with Bill self another dangerous team but they’re hurt I mean they’re very hurt they’re four seed I see a lot of people picking

Samford to take him out I don’t think that’s going to happen Bill s will get them out of that first round Al they did lose a shocker as what were they the two seed or were they a one seed that lost in the second round a few years ago they

Lost Kansas did but I mean they also won the national champ Championship so I mean I think that they’ll get out but I I could see Gonzaga taking them out and if they get healthy if they get their two best players back to at least 80% I mean Kansas could definitely make a

Final four run and take out Purdue but I think Purdue will get out of the region um at the bottom a couple intriguing things you have the potential rematch of Rick Barnes at the bottom Tennessee vers Texas in round two you know Tennessee uh

Could win it all um or they could go out pretty early I think they got St Peters sneaky little team in that first round game um but they’ll get past them and Barnes will take out his uh former uh you know his former School in Austin um but I I like kraton actually

So I like I agree with Liam that Oregon should at least get into the second round but I I think kraton’s got a special team lot of Shooters coach mcder it’s a special leader of men and I think that kraton actually is going to make a

Nice run I was toying with them going to the final four but I’m just going to probably as of now I may I may flop this but I do I think Purdue is a little fired up after last year and I think they’re going to come out um banging

Pretty hard and I don’t really again they have two teams in Gonzaga and The Jayhawks that are always a great Challenge and will be but they’re just not firing at full capacity right now so I think that Purdue will get the edge there but you never know this could be a

Wild bracket this uh this Midwest region I’m a little frightened uh honestly and as am I with the West so the top half um you know the east in the South feel fairly confident that you’ll have a Yukon and Houston at least in the Elite 8 Kentucky could be dangerous if they if

They just catch a heater under calip Parry but we’ll see um and then finally with the West I mean gota think tario is going to roll the first few games again shocking display last year they got ISO potentially in the second round that could be problematic I don’t know how

Many more years he has left we love coach ISO maybe more than anyone else but yet they’re not going to have an easy run really then they’re gonna potentially have Alabama who again disappointment uh last year highly touted had all the drama going on in their school um they Also may have Grant

Can who’s been a popular first round upset of St Mary’s as a 12 seed um that’s probably been the most popular uh High hyp seated team that I excuse me that I’ve seen at least so far um so I don’t know New Mexico another I I like New Mexico to

Take out Clemson um they’re an 11 SE and then they’ll get Baylor probably although colgate’s going to be a tough out um up here in Upstate New York got a great team that’s going to Rally around them but eventually I do see an Arizona Bor and another team Arizona that I

Think like Purdue is kind of maybe have a little chip on their shoulder um and if they can somehow get past the Tar Heels assuming that is the matchup of the top two seeds uh in the west region you know obviously heavy home field advantage for uh the Wildcats of Arizona

And then we’ll be playing the final four in Glendale so I’m kind of gonna I I don’t know why I just I love Arizona been there few times now but um I’m going to roll I’m going to roll with the Wildcats uh to make a shock defeat of

The Huskies in the battle of the Kines in the final four in Glendale I think that home court is at least good enough to have them take down Yukon who has a lot of pressure and the Target on their back to repeat here everyone’s picking

Them so I’ll go with the Wildcats to get in to the final against Houston and like I said I’ve liked Houston the last few years best defensive team in the country probably a low-scoring national championship game in the 70s I would guess at most um but if it is Houston

Over the hometown Wildcats I think that Houston can spoil them because they’re relatively out west right they’ll have some nice support in Glendale but just going gut play the Cougars defeat the wild cats so a lot of a lot of wild animals and big cats in the finals we

Have here but uh I I think the cougar are going to get it done so um that’s the NCA March Madness the the spring is pretty much here folks last day today of winter here in New York 11:00 p.m. I think we get spring which means obviously the Masters in 20 some hour
