Great wind C in front of a big crowd a special night but you really statement again well not so much a statement it was great for our crowd though for our people mostly I mean there’s a few Cowboy supporters here but a lot of Broncos and um you know I got really

Inspired by last night by penth and their attitude around everything um and that’s what all it was tonight little shift in Attitude from everyone and defensively it’s been our best performance you know the year which makes me even more excited what do you mean abouten what what inspired you well

They you know they had some of their key players not playing um and you know they just rolled penth out we need to and and you know we’ve had some disruptions to our team but we rolled the Broncos out tonight regardless of who was in the jerseys or who was playing that’s that’s

The Broncos so that’s what um I’m most pleased about the kicking game of the guy next to you Kev that was just first first class tonight well it wasn’t um you know some particularly early when the pressure when you can start build pressure on on the back of uh Adams

Kicking I mean that was one of the reasons why we we went to Sydney two or three years ago was for that you know on these occasions he knows um which kicks to put up and he knows how to put people under pressure with his kicking game and

He did that tonight for us made a huge statement as the forward leader tonight and I suppose Kev you needed to see that from him considering the caliber play is yeah and he Patty’s been you know jostling along but I thought tonight he really stood up um um not so not a lot

Of ball playing but just his carries and defensively as well he was really strong um that’s a pat carrian we need every week about Kev performance very good yeah and that didn’t surprise me um he’s he’s a very smart uh footballer and a lot of his work goes unseen on

Television I just like the way he talks and and his calmness um he’s a real competitor as well which is great to see you really put the back pressure tonight did you get a lot of confidence yourself coming back that your kicking game was on song right from the

Start um we knew with conditions like that it’s always going to be tough for the back three we we spoke about it during the week we wanted to you know sort of get after it and um Kick’s only as good as its Chase I thought our kick Chase tonight was fantastic and so

Crucial in in sort of um wet weather footy like this so um once you get an error you you stick at it until you get a different result but um yeah we kept getting it so thought kept going back there Kev it sort of looked like with a few errors he might

Few injuries he might be a little bit down on truce but did that reinforce to you compliments you got in this squad certainly did um yeah I just we’ve just been waiting for that performance you know for the opening three rounds and for in different reasons but even last night

When you know watching penth and they they put a bit of a score on the roosters um you know I thought that our form maybe wasn’t maybe I was judging them a bit har with um you know pen the way the way they’re going so um but

Again it’s it’s about us and you know I thought tonight we showed that resolve with their defense which was really impressive and also playing football that it’s a it’s good to watch and they play the same sort of football but we sort of capitalize on on some opportun

Scoring opportunities um and that pushed the scoreboard you know out a bit for us which was good J made real first game for the Broncos you know coming in late for Brendon yeah he was really impressive tonight really good uh particularly in defense I thought he he

Stood up well there and and his carries when required um we’re we’re perfect for what we needed for the team how far Brandon still a couple of weeks away yeah yeah I don’t need to remind your record against Melbourne Kev but you get a bit of confidence out of that well a
