Will full Old Firm allocation return? Starting from the next season, Old Firm derbies will see a revised ticket allocation policy, with only 5% of tickets being allocated to away fans. This adjustment means that around 2,500 tickets will be available for away fans at Ibrox and about 3,000 at Parkhead, allowing both sets of fans to contribute to the vibrant atmosphere these games are famous for. However, season ticket holders in specific areas of Ibrox, particularly those in the Broomloan Stand, will face changes as they are not guaranteed an Old Firm ticket from the forthcoming season. The club has announced plans to contact these supporters with various alternatives, which include the option of moving their seat permanently starting this summer.

To ensure the safety and smooth entry of fans, both stadiums are set to introduce enhanced security measures. At Ibrox, these include the installation of netting and the implementation of new turnstile procedures specifically designed to accommodate the revised ticketing policy. Similar safety protocols will be put in place at Parkhead, ensuring a secure environment for all attendees.

The decision to adjust the ticket allocation was reached after discussions between the two clubs, with input from the SFA and broadcasters. 600 was just a token gesture it was pointless 2 and a half 3,000 as as as a pretty decent away support um I hope gradually we’ll get back to the full stand again or that whole area at parad or the the stand at I Brooks

But we need it in place Peter because it was it just wasn’t the same you we’ll probably hear the Rangers manager speaking about it you know in terms of the atmosphere you know to have 60,000 Celtic fans at a home game and an old firm game or 50,000 hbrooks you know

First first and foremost it gives a home team in my opinion a huge Advantage um and secondly there’s no atmosphere in terms of if an away team scores I remember SE kyogo scored at hbrooks and it was silence you know there’s no so it’s a step in the right direction Peter

I hope maybe in The Following season you know they’ll come around and they’ll go right okay we’ll give you that stand back yeah it if anything Rie there is a suggestion that they’re going to put netting in I still think policing it could be a problem yeah well at this moment in time

Both Rangers and Celtic they’re just in the corner you know which I think the police would be easier to handle but uh that’s only for 700 so is it in stone is a legislation from the governing body has every club now got to honor that 5% no this is an agreement that they’ve

Who you’re going to be playing you’ll have watched them you’ll have all the reports you possibly can it’s down to those three games firstly they’ve got a right to boo yes right to an opinion right to boo I’m with you I don’t think I think Steve Clark will be quietly annoyed um but

Suddenly looked at it and said oh oh there’s a problem with the back line or there’s a problem with the front line we know that defending has been a problem in that Central area and we know that goals are hard to come by if mcin doesn’t chip in with the with the goals

Of momy yeah I think this type of game Peter is a game that we’ve struggled with for even probably going back roughies here you know where where you’re playing against a team who come and sit in and you’ve got to break them down particularly when they scored first

Second half they just sat in you know we couldn’t break them down we we’re missing somebody a weit X Factor or a we bit of G just somebody that can do something different you know James mcfaden for for example somebody that can go and beat a player we haven’t get

Really anybody in the wide areas that can go and beat a man commit people you know take people eliminate people out the game and put crosses in we we we’re quite one dimension in the way we play but it suits us I think you mentioned after the game Germany will come and

Attack us Germany will think they’re better than us Hungary will think they’re better than us Switzerland will think they’re better than us they’ll just come and attack us Peter and if we can sit in deep and then use our running power the mcin and the Momin that’s when

Flying into tackles they were really really up for the game we weren’t uh and there a lot young players in the team p a lot of hunger young enthusiastic players and it was there it was kind of cut final and we we we just we wen’t at

Are going to play Hibbs on this Saturday um so uh quite simply Rangers against hibs is for me game of the weekend in the Premiership yeah as pet I think the HBS have finally got their act together they put a consistent run together in the league obviously they lost not only lost

A match in the in the cup but lost their head I thought at times at Easter Ro as well and you can’t do that hbrooks you know it’s a hot atmosphere every time HS roll into town you know the Rangers supporters are up for it and the players

Will be as well they want to go above Celtic and and put the pressure on him the Sunday but HBS have got players on that team that can cause Rangers rangers problems again like I always say I think you’ve got to score first at I Brooks

And parkhead if you score first then you see as you seen my mother W and a couple of weeks ago they got the first goal and they were on the win the game if you score first you get something hang on to you the Rangers fans become upset

Rangers have lost the last two games at home benf and M um so if HBS can get that first goal then you never know but I just don’t I’m not sure HBS defensively strong enough to go to ey blocks and get a result I think in in

Games particularly away for home so no I think there will be points dropped out with the Celtic Rangers games I think I think the teams have improved and I don’t think it’s the strongest strongest Celtic Rangers teams I’ve ever seen either Ry yeah I think when the split

Comes you know it’s always important Celtic obviously know they’ve got Rangers but I mean there’s five games in that split you know and when the when the fixtures come out could go for you you could maybe have hearts at home you know and the grounds are awayy home like
