A stunning heathland-style course, set on the rolling sand hills of Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, Carya is a truly unique golfing experience. The first course of its kind to be built in Turkey, Carya has since become the number one course in the country, considered a must-play track by golfers across Europe. Being the top course in Turkey, and among the top 50 in Europe, Carya stepped further into the spotlight as a host venue on the European Tour. Hosting the Turkish Airlines Open since 2016, golfers have flocked to Belek from all over the world to tee it up here, even more so after Justin Rose won the event in 2017.
Created by the design firm of five-time Open Championship winner Peter Thompson, Carya Golf Club is making waves as the only heathland style course in the Belek area. The outstanding layout offers a true championship experience and while the weather out on course will be distinctly Mediterranean, the accents such as heather framed bunkers and towering pines will give golfers who have played the classic heathland courses in Surrey, a warm feeling of familiarity.
