And that Competitive Edge has defined broads Ash’s career this summer it came to the four again with a furious reaction to an now Infamous dismissal well that particular moment in all honesty I I saw Red Mist for 10 minutes I you know i’ I clash myself particularly my 30s as being really
Mentally strong I had a lot of routines and techniques that looked after me but I uh I was frustrated with that dismissal obviously one of our great players out in that way when it felt so um he wasn’t getting Advantage it just felt a really strange dismissal so
I I I saw Red Mist and I couldn’t control myself for 10 minutes I completely forgot there were TV cameras microphones I was just anything with a green cap on I was just targeting I was just sort of uh having a go at um after
About 10 minutes stoky came to me in the middle and was like you all right I was like yeah yeah I’m fine sorry I’ve just got a bit emotional here you know the crowd are revving me up and and he said okay what’s going to happen here is you
Don’t talk to me don’t affect what I’m doing but if I run one you run one if I run two you run two and if I hit a boundary just stay at your end and do your thing I said okay cool yeah what do
You want me to do he goes keep going in what sense he goes just keep verbally going at the Aussies you know they’re looking at the ground they’ve lost their body language they’ve lost their plan they’re bowling rubbish to me stoky so just keep doing what you’re doing so
After so 10 minutes it was Red Mist and I was just you know petulant going in you all that sort of thing and then actually after minutes it became quite a targeted thing and it was actually me deliberately trying to get under their skin and um take their mind away from
The plan and me and stoky bed for about three hours in the end you know had a great time should you know 40 lost by 40 runs could jny got 40 runs probably I think it galvanized us it galvanized the series it galvanized our fans and um
What Ash’s crickets about it had a bit of edge to it

So true if johnny was still in, we couldve won the series
Completely legal dismissal, the English team were simply out played fair and square with that stumping.
YOU'RE STILL GOING ON ABOUT IT, MY WORD
On day five we were watching the game coming to a nail biting finish. The dismissal felt like a cheap way to victory, outside of the contest between bat and ball. It may have been legal but so is rolling the ball instead of bowling. They should have withdrawn the appeal and given the fans the big finish they deserved.
Same old Aussies…always cheating
That final day is the closest I've seen to war breaking out at a sporting contest.
man child
Idc even as an Englishman that's out.
Bairstow was out , Aus retained the Ashes .
Should have had the bowler knock over the batsman then run him out while he scrambles to get to his feet.
Was it legal? Yes. Was it sportsmanlike? Not really, no.
Didn't he refuse to walk in 2013?
Can't stand Aussies.
The only person he shpuld be raging with is Bairstow. Absolute village
Aint no way they're still on about this lol. Australia has gone on to retain the Ashes, win the World Cup and whitewash Pakistan 3-0 at home since this has happened 😂
Who cares! Broad always tries to make himself relevant
Stuart Broad. The last true bastion of sportsmanship apparently
No wonder they didn't do any good in the World Cup. Australia's living rent free in their heads.
I just feel a bit bad for Carey, getting hate for a legal dismassal that his captain was happy with.
"I saw red mist for 10 minutes" oooooohhh, scary. So basically what an Australian fast bowler sees all the time. Flog.
