MORE DRAWS, LESS SLICES – Bring the club back down on the inside with this clock drill.

When you swing the club down on the inside it encourages a shallower angle of attack preventing the steep, over-the-top move that causes slicing.
In this video, I’m going to show you a great way to practice shallowing your club path early in the downswing and have you hitting more draws.

There’s no doubt that an inside path in your down swing is necessary for producing drawers when you swing the club down on the inside it encourages a shallower angle of attack preventing the Steep overthe toop move that causes slicing I’m going to show you a great way to practice showing your club path

Early in the down sing as you can see here I’ve placed two alignment rods on the ground I want you to think of these rods as hands on a clock the one rod is placed directly under my hands and parallel to the Target line and is pointing to 12:00 the other Rod is

Placed just outside by Trail foot and is pointing to 7:00 start with a short IR such as an A and take the club back to the top of your back string then slowly bring it down till the shaft is horizontal to the ground and directly over the rod pointing to

7:00 from here you can bump the club back up a little to help with momentum then swing down through 7:00 into impact and follow through start with hitting 40 to 50 yard shots and begin increasing the distance as you get more comfortable with the drill this is a great exercise

To train an inside path I’m Owen and I want you to start playing golf better than you imagined
