Weekend uh and it’s a very special week coming up it’s round three it’s good Friday and I thought it was fitting that we get Nick sh back in from the ches squad to talk all things preparation for this week mate how you doing I’m awesome Jerry thanks for having me on again

Hello everyone um yeah you just mentioned it footy we had our week off as the blues but uh even during the bar round Carlton still manage a win our vflw girls get a victory down at the cie so even when we get a week off Carlton

Just all we know how to do is win mate so uh We’ve uh but it’s about to kick up a gear again this weekend um not just we’ve got Good Friday footy in the seniors but our vfl men’s season starts on Friday as well so they had a Buy in

Round one it buys everywhere but um yeah it’s uh it’s going to be a big big week for FW Club I can’t wait there’s so much going on this week I did a chat with cpsy earlier today which went up at 5 watch I loved it by the way

Fantastic stuff yeah thank you and it just dawned on me like it just comes it comes at you from so many different angles um and so many initiatives going on this week um we’ll talk about the cheer squads you know shortly but um yeah you know what I felt after the

First two rounds I was like I almost wasn’t expecting how much the season hits you in the face and then that’s why the buy came at a good time and now I’m hoping that I’m ready to go again because it was pretty full on before the buy 100% agree I think I

Think I spoke to you just uh before round zero I was about to say and oh no after round zero and it hadn’t dawned on me that F he was back it was a bit of a different vibe where we in Brisbane rather than the traditional Car Richmond

Game and things were just they weren’t Better or Worse we had a ball up in Brisbane even despite the win in spite of the win but it was this different vibe and the second that first sain hit before the first game second thear and goes bang

We’re in the zone and mentally I’m just on a wh line fever hit me like that it was great Richmond on the weekend I built myself up massively because we’ve just taken down the Lions and everything’s awesome expecting there I say expecting to smash Richmond yeah and it just wasn’t the

Same again it wasn’t better or worse but even the fans in the crowd I don’t know how you found it but the fans in the crowd I thought rather than Carlton fans like we’ve come to know Carlton fans being that extra player in the stand getting them over the line when things

Are going 5050 I think the Carlton fans were sitting there a bit quiet expecting Carlton to come back rather than let’s let’s get involved and let’s get this atmosphere and it was good good game but I thought for Richmond Carlton standing it was just it just happened and Caron

Scores from stoppages was like Richmond 45-4 or something and at quarter time the differential in in uh in contested possessions was our worst quarter of footy since gaan last year so we were we weren’t switched on as much as we could have maybe that’s the emotional letdown after that massive comeback the week

Before that we can forgive it we’re not angry and pointing fingers or anything but I just think that um I mean you take it don’t you if you’re playing okay footy and end up two and zip to start the season the buy came in a really good

Round I think for Carlton we’ve got a bit of a time to reset ourselves possibly get a few BLS back I’m I’m sure we’ll talk about that um and yes set ourselves up from here we’ got a couple of games coming up that you really really hope that they’re setting them

Themselves for um not just the occasion of this Friday night but gather around the following week we’ve never won at the Adelaide oval um we’ve got a few things to tick off and just start building our season I think in the next couple of weeks so yeah yeah start

Finding some continuity well I was kind of hoping for an update on the injuries just before this show so my hope is now moving to hopefully we get an update um during the show while we’re on yeah in which case chat those of you watching at home we’re going to need

You do you think he’s in based off the photos that I’ve seen based off him being sort of front and center I feel like he’s available and whether they play him this week or next week is the decision that you make but I I I feel like I’m a lot more confident

That he would play than what I was last week I think personally yeah Fair cool yeah Fair cool yeah also Young on young yeah I’m with you you know weering out you know you got to play Lewis young um one goal kicked on him by Joe danur in week one yeah uh week

Two had a couple kicked on him by Bolter but I mean we win the games we come out with with with eight points and way we go so fair play to Lewis uh Sam Walsh it’s just it’s just the biggest story at the great unknown isn’t it so good it’s so

Good my gut feeli is he won’t well not MC gutfield I’m almost certain he won’t play this week yeah I think we’ll learn about walhi before this Friday what the proposed timeline is my feel is that we’ll find out let’s say by Friday they’ll give us either he’s playing

Gather around or the week after gather round or the rumors are still going around that he might need surgery and stuff he was pretty emphatic before the Richmond game I think he spoke either on radio or a club function saying no no no I’m on track and Brad Lloyd also was speaking

That day and was very very emphatic saying no uh I think it was was it Mitch clear’s Channel 7 the report that they’re going to put him away or potentially put him away for surgery they were very emphatic that at that point in time that he was still on track

And they were still hoping to have him after the buy um my if that is the case I think we might see him probably the week after gather around I reckon they’ll give him this week and then one more just to be certain and then I think after that

We’ve got who we got after that theow at the G don’t we have I think crows at marel and then Giants at Marvel I think maybe that’s the order yeah um I think that’s when we might start to see him I think give him two more I wouldn’t mind there’s a lot on

Him heavily involved in all their stuff and all that so I think they’ve got him in their 22 23 whatever you call it but again the question comes who comes out so for me lucky fog is an absolute lock yeah and I I won’t hear any argument

Against he’s in my team yeah no one brings the tackling pressure and the forward pressure um that he does score involvements all of it he’s great Matt cell has done enough to keep his spot for mine the next in line always he’s hitting the scoreboard at important moments

But I feel that he’s the most likely to give way for Elijah so when I did the rating show with pommy for the Richmond game you know now we’ve got the heat maps and I had a look at each one that comes up and of all the heat maps that came up where

I’m like okay where where would Elijah play who would Elijah be it was Conners and that’s not to say that Conners would come out of the side but I think where cnor had the football and what he did with it I’m like that’s kind of where I picture

Elijah yeah yeah cers had a couple of moments there was one late in the Brisbane game where he ran through a pack at full speed crumbed a rut contest with in a forward 50 and I think it was he ends up getting the ball out to Harry

Who has his banana shot that fell short I think gner is standing on the line and smothered it that’s shot at goal came about because Cunningham ran through the stoppage Jud style and I hate using the terminology like that but I it’s the only comparison I can make and I

Remember sitting there going oh last quarter not a lot of players keep that sort of speed late in the game um against Richmond he’s not alone a lot of people kind of butcher the footy at times it was a pretty Scrappy Affair so I’m not going to hold a grudge

Against him for his performance or lack of against the Tigers I thought he was all right without being great um but I think positionally I think that’s your you’re right with that sort of player that’s the like for like he’d probably be the next in line but he

Hasn’t done a hell of a lot wrong he hasn’t done a hell of a lot wrong at all I I always try and find little memories of things do you remember uh it probably was 2020 Dave Cunningham in the wet kick the goal late to win the game was it

Without Jack Martin up there as that faux third tall who can kind of run off a half run off the corner of the square at a stoppage and Bash someone like Aaron Hamill used to do back in the day or Kennedy’s kind of playing that role

Crips has had a bit more time forward as well they’re both doing a fair bit of rcking Kennedy’s done a few few Ruck contests around the ground if hu comes in and plays that kind of half forward sort of high half forward role um Kennedy’s kind of freed up a bit he can

Kind of play some Midfield minutes he can pinch hit in the Rock he can kind of play forward it kind of frees up Kennedy’s role a bit and if Kennedy then moves back into the Midfield does another midfielder maybe make way like I’m I’m I feel like I’m picking on Jack Carroll

But maybe he’s then in trouble I don’t know I’ve loved his first two games but where is he on the pecking order it’ be really interesting yeah pom literally took the thought out of my mind so with Elijah I mean it’s uh isn’t Elijah like a

Biblical name and out of the Bible like there’s rebirth Easter Jesus like little bit of that TI in Elijah Second Chance rebirth I can’t say I’ve read it back to front I think there’s a book in the Bible the book of Elijah I think I might sorry to all the non- heathens

About where this list is at and Um just got to get ourselves as you mentioned before with Walsh just if we can make it ourselves start firing at the right end of the season history tells you you’ve only got to be good on the last day of the year it’s all that matters isn’t it you can be as

Good as you want before then means nothing if you’re not there at the end of the at the end of the day that is true uh a little bit about North have you watched much of north North Pole you caught any of North Pole gen generally I

Would say it’s not a Pastime that I enjoy watching um but I watch them versus Frio um because I got a bit of a soft spot for the Dockers I think they’re underrated side a lot of players I like individually but um first quarter north

Kind of jumped him a bit and I feel that I feel that the Dockers the the the Dockers weren’t ready I think North Melbourne came out for lack of having anyone in their back six they kind of said well we haven’t got a back if we haven’t got a

Backline to stuff it let’s just go all out attack and they ran and ran and they kind of jumped Freo a bit and looked pretty good out the gate it’s not sustainable that type of footy they’re playing but it was a precursor to what they’re trying to build

Towards as they grow and develop they’re a very young side um but I think look there’s obvious challenges that they’ve got as a as a club as a list um but I thought they’ve made an okay account of themselves versus Foo I think Freo is half okay

Side but yeah I think the few things the bloke in the graphic behind is Zachy Fisher I thought played all right on the weekend it’s good to see Zach playing playing good footy getting a bit of a pill I’m happy for look I don’t like this idea that some just because they’re

Not at carton anymore we throw shade at them and stuff there’s a difference between someone like Zach who riding was really on the wall where he was at in our club another club offered him more years a permanent best 22 spot you’re stupid not to say yes to that good luck

To the kid there’s a difference between something like that and locky Henderson taking his ball and going home and cracking sads um I’ve got nothing but love for zachie Fisher he’s a good kid I wish him all the best and I’m I’m I’m looking forward to seeing him you know line up

On the weekend against a MADD cotol or someone and I just want to see if Zach can withstand a Matt Cal tackle or something I’m sure there’ll be a bit of a friendly banter back and forth between our boys got no doubt about that so man

Going on this week let’s start with cheer squad let’s start with cheer squad what does the week look like for the cheer squad as I get the raffle link up it’s already been a big week um it’s been huge so the beauty about being a buy is for

Our gqu a lot of people know our Che Squad do Raffles every week uh F usually fundraising for ourselves or Interstate supporter groups um and that’s our way of giving back to the club and supporting the club but the beauty about having a buy pre Good Friday means that

We’ve had two weeks to really advertise and to lead into um our raffle for this week coming for Good Friday and all the money goes toward the Good Friday appeal which is really really special and I’m so wrapped that our club’s part of this game I watched your video as I said with

Cpsy earlier today and just knowing hearing people’s personal stories about what the kids hospital means to them personally is something that our cheer squad is not immune to my own wife we’ve had family members involved with the kids hospital they’ve done a lot for our families over the

Journey but last year was the first time that Carlton were part of this game and at first I thought oh this is fun we get to play on Good Friday that’s good you get a marquee game that’s all I thought of it when they first announced it and then we started preparing things

And oh let’s do our fundraiser for the kids hospital and it kind of dawned on me as we started speaking to people just to make the gravity and the the size of what this event means to our club and the community as a byproduct of that community so last year where our raffle

Was the same as this time we did a team sign gery raffling off I think we did last year at team sign footy raffling off all proceeds go to the kids hospital and we were overcome with emotion during the week having people inboxing us saying hey thanks so much

For what you’re doing um here’s my story about what the Royal Children’s Hospital done for my family and that people spill in their guts and really really powerful stuff and that’s beautiful in itself but then on game day before the game and at quarter time break and everything you’ll

See us again selling our ruffle tickets at the top of the cheer squad Bay people coming in with $100 notes $50 notes hand of f is giving us cash and again as they’re lining up sharing stories about oh gee this is so good to be part of a

Game like this because my son has had issues with XYZ my my little cousin my nephew my daughter whatever it is and people again sharing their stories about kids who have benefited from the work that the kids hospital do some of them have shared stories about family members

And kids that haven’t made it which is horrifying stories but yet there’s a silver L not Silver Lining it sounds horrible but there but there’s a there’s an a love and an element of love and care in their voices as they’re they’re speaking about the nurses and the staff

And the volunteers and the community groups based around the kids hospital so then this year we said well we’ve got to go get around it again so last year our Che Squad raised $122,000 for the for the kids hospital um and we donated that to the uh Good Friday

Appeal via cryssy fundraiser so for those who haven’t seen the video preceding this on Blue abroad get onto it and watch a the amazing stuff that crys is involved with in life he’s a prince of a man I think the world of him um but out of that the amazing work that

This organization do um I’m blessed to say personally I haven’t had a direct link to the kids hospital I haven’t needed their services but when you learn how many families are in need of it and how many families do uh are affected by the amazing work

They do each year it kind of becomes real and um so I think there’s 50,000 children from Victoria you there I think we lost you mate let’s bring him back we’ll just wait for him to come back in in the meantime while Nick’s coming back guys

Got a bit of that to it it’s like the Denis experience on Friday it’s massive and for those of you who have already booked a table or a ticket to go to that and who’ve never been to Denis before I’m not just saying it because they’re friends I’m not just saying it because

They’re Caron people I believe it’s the best restaurant in Melbourne uh my wife and I are permanent fixtures in that establishment I I believe I took you was that your first time you went was that with us or been before yes that was the first time yeah

That was with you that’s right oh yeah so I I I take pride in in Breaking people into the Denis experience and my wife and I love it if you’re a cartton person um a watched the denan cartton people episode with Terry from a cple about a week or

So ago but also go and visit that place you’ll learn the Carlton history that has taken place within those four walls will blow your mind the links that that establishment has with our club and all that has gone on there um I think an opportunity for Caron people to get

Together I’m a lucky one I get to go interstate every week and travel the country watching our club and going to Interstate supporter group functions pregame and experiencing that vibe in Melbourne we don’t really do anything like that there’s no pregame functions or anything in Melbourne it’s kind of

Just turn up at the gate and let’s go I think it’ll be an opportunity for Victorian based people to kind of get together talk about footy talk about cartton and just be together in each other’s company while dare I say it having one of the great meals you’ll

If you were watching a few weeks ago you would have heard me talk about a project he’s working on um we’ve spoken about it over the last few weeks um to be fair I was very sensitive about um talking about the Carlton coin and the crypto

And and all of that so what I thought we’d do is we’d spend the next 15 20 minutes hearing from Ur himself he can tell us everything we need to know this is going to be a bit of an information session webinar if you’ll call it um you

Looking forward to the game this Friday um North melon I’ve been very busy last uh 10 days with this project of mine and obviously doing my day job as well so it’s been really hectic I haven’t had much sleep averaging about three hour sleep a day wow it’s just work around a

Clock but I think all play a lot of things are now in place so put a lot more confidence all right well why don’t we do this I’m going to bring up uh I’m going to bring up the slides and then just you tell me when you want me to go

To the next slide how do you want to do this so yeah if that’s okay you can bring it up let’s let’s do this let’s see uh all right the floor is yours okay so um so the Project’s called Caron coin um obviously i’ I’ve been associated with crypto technology for maybe six

Years and you see a lot of projects come and go um some of the projects that have come and have stayed as some of the um the clubs in Europe have a a coin a crypto coin associated with their club that the fan base use for transaction transacting uh know building

Community with the coin and you know sharing the U the profits potentially of the coin U and using other Technologies like you know buying nfts and using the um coin to purchase merges device so I’ve sort of copied their model I thought why can’t we bring this to

Australia to Carlton why not to Carlton and the greatest fan base you know the Carlton fan base so that’s where it came from so if you want to go next slide um so so I really feel like it is a you know I think we are the first fan

Base in Australia to have a a crypto coin associated with it it’s not it’s not it’s not um I I haven’t got any relation relationships with the Carlton football club it’s purely know the fans just you know creating this coin and sharing the the love and the The Passion of of C football

Club um the the coin was um if you want to go can you go back to the previous slide yeah sorry uh hang on don’t to far yeah the coin yeah that’s it yeah stay yeah so the coin name is Carlton coin it’s on the if if

You know a bit about crypto it’s on the salana salana um dexs or distributed exchange this symbol is blue so it’s C and coin the name the symbol is blues on the exchange um and things that I’ve been busy last 10 days is setting up a team

I’ve got a team of seven people so I have individuals that manage the Twitter account the telegram account is is very um uh very busy and and interactive it’s a nice place to to meet everyone uh website of course you need to have a website to be a serious operation emails

Got a YouTube channel now so we’ve got some how to videos there how to buy crypto how to buy this coin and we’ve got we’ve got a white paper as well that we can share with people want to go next slide and just U know a lot of people

Asking is this a serious project and and um so we’ve mapped that in the white paper you how we’ve what we’ve done with the coins how many have we minted how much have we allocated to the public how much is the team keeping so it’s a

Breakdown of that in the white paper as well and it’s basically all the tokenomics so you know we’ve Meed 1 billion coins um 200 million of them is is allocated to the liquidity pool so this is where you can go and buy um the coin

So there’s a pool of 200 million and we threw in 30 Salina there as well um and reserved another 150 million for for um for extra liquidity so what we’ve realized is we’re through 200 million there but the Buys have been greater than sells and there’s only 50 million

Left now so I’ve got to keep on topping it up now so it’s been quite successful um I think we’ve seen about 14x growth in the last nine days so from Price action perspective um so yeah it seems like it’s a lot of people are buying it we’ve got about uh

280 holders of the coin not just in Australia but all around the world because it’s know the exchang is available to everyone it’s on the salana platform there’s 6,000 other coins on the salana platform so there’s always people snooping around seeing which coins are doing well they may go make a

Buy there and the other details you can see we’ got um um 50 million allocated to Promotions 150 million allocated to further development so we’re always trying to develop the um the the uh the coin um I’ve I’ve got 15 50 million just awaiting there for deployment that I can

Use for miscellaneous uh project miscellaneous type activities 100 million for marketing um and 200 million is to be distributed across the community so we’ve been airdropping coins to you know we had a campaign where if you’re a Calon fan you just fill in the website and we gave you we gifted you 50,000
