Especially baseball it’s constantly being played not like football is easy I’m not saying that but at least the play in football is concentrated where if you if you have a couple hours and you’re watching Red Zone you’re pretty much up to date if not you can get everything at once

Baseball’s just never it never ever stops even for somebody like me who’s following you know from the crack of dawn doing the model getting all the work out some games at noon and games going on on the west coast you know I’m on the East Coast here 1 two o’clock in the morning

Are certain edges in the format I think so might as well get into that when it comes to hitting right there really I don’t want to say there are no positions but there are no individual positions everything’s clumped into infield or outfield right only outfielders are outfielders everyone else is an

Infielder so what that does right 12 Team league 20 rounds but since you only start pitchers infielders and outfielders you start three of each one offensive F the computer will optimize your best score right that’s the really the Crux of best ball why I enjoy it so much and it

Allows you right I mean like technically almost again it is important to be responsible we’ll talk about that at the end but it’s providing you are responsible you know don’t ever play with money you can’t afford to lose it should be pre-budget can’t really overexpose yourself because

Is you know you really don’t want to fill those slots because the outfielders are going to run out you’ll see exactly what I mean so even if they’re great players you can find yourself in a position that’s really not so envious just because they it’s you you

Will see and this one of the reasons I truly believe I’m gonna we’re going to put you right in the plus EB spot of being able to get to the playoffs then it’s kind of anybody’s game but I think we’re getting most of our teams to the playoffs remember a couple injuries is

Okay also because all right so we’re up I’m gonna go with Julio he was first in my ranks like easy enough again if you update upload my ranks into this and walk away you’re going to draft a like a pretty like a pretty sick team Strider went middle one you will

See that sometimes he has kind of separated himself from the pack pitching injuries are what they are I am definitely a strut file so you don’t really have to sell me on that he had been foing to the back of the first which is one of the decisions I was

Normal and then a guy like Michael Harris who I think is skilled crazy skilled that team is so good he’s going to bat like seven to8 or ninth that’s a really tough spot so the scoring in this league is not your general scoring hitters a single is three a double is

Six triple is eight Homer 10 walk Three hit by pitch three riby run both two Steelers four again um I have data sheets where if we can hook up these rankings I have converted bat X projections into you know Underdog per plate appearance you could

See you know who we think are the best players on a per PL appearance basis when you get down to the nitty-gritty again remember one of the advantage is I forgot which one of the bright football guys has been talking about this but the scroll down you know scrolling down in

Beste ball is like a winning method these drafts are generally shallow players tend to fall ADP updates quickly so if a player Falls outside the purview like the general perview the scope of the draft they could get forgotten and this could be a player that you’re like where I’m G to

Bryce Harper at the top man Bryce Harper as the 20th overall player in what essentially is an Ops league right so I know I read some kind of custom scoring and it’s don’t let it throw you off right it’s Ops this is an Ops right you want to get on Bas and then

You want power is is huge pitchers check it actually hold let me see if there’s anything else to draw from the hitters right because you get on with a walk because a walk is the same as a single on base is awesome and all these guys that walk are really valuable

Especially if they’re on good offens is hitting top third of the lineup right these are parts of the calculus that we’re thinking about all the way throughout and then again always keeping an eye on balance between infield Outfield I actually like the the Harper play I one I really like the price where

We got him but besides that it gives you the one kind of stand that infielder now you’ll see I probably won’t draft another one unless somebody really does stick out I probably won’t draft another one until the end like we literally might go five infielders to finish the

AL remember like I said I like the balance Capital spent with the roster build meaning where wherever I spend less INF field Outfield that’ll be the one that gets a seven so if I if I frontload outfielders here then I may be comfortable going with six depending on who they

Where we did invest in infield and went with Harper knowing that trout might not be able to project 450 games right I wish then may you go with the seventh outfielder depending who they are I’m telling you it can be really really tough we’re having injuries

Happen as and I think also I mean I know sometimes I see my own ranks being used but as the market begins to see the dynamic that we already laid out yes you love Azie albz you love Marcus sine early we’re not trying to say these guys are not good these guys

Are very good the problem is when you get to the end if you need outfielders you’re going to see I don’t want to call names team uh next to me right you go Strider Riley Vlad Guerrero let’s try and keep an eye on what the Outfield looks like you can’t

Have platoon players you cannot start platoon players so then even pitching this sitting out because we’ve had a lot of injuries so again I have just found in my experience as you see the board kind of roll out here that you need to make sure you have starting outfielders

Fill in as many good pitches as you can again there’s there’s a lot of pitches out there I play a lot of nfbc so that’s 15 team nine pitching designations now that does include relievers but they can be any P that’s a really good way to understand

The depth of the pitching pool you’ll see also there aren’t a ton there aren’t a ton but there are certainly a handful or a large handful of starting pitchers that we’re going to really like that are available in the Las knowing that is great compared to the infielders that

Are available which are like again you’re going to see we call it names right uh the Mariners right so okay this is that’s funny because I have Julio Rodriguez so we’ll probably end up with a mariner stack JP Crawford who had an awesome season last year went to drive

Line leads off every day plays every day he’s like a last round guy Ty France Who coming off a very bad season last year again went the drive line he kind of ran bad I don’t have time to do all the granular stuff but you know all the

Fantasy stuff I work on home B regression pull Fly ball regression it can regress in a positive nature and that’s what I’m expecting from France idea being yeah you invested way up for Julio Rodriguez but if you get Ty France and JP Crawford with your last two picks not

Only you know you make a top three stack of what might be a good offense you know you fill in two of those infielder spots with very less pick you could right you’re taking from Peter to pay Paul right you’re understanding the depth of the market in order to shape the decisions earlier

On and that’s what this has become all about now if you take that to its conclusion and say well now I’m 10 in and I feel really good about these Outfield of front options then you kind of bridge out right if you have one bullet I think you should try and win it

With one bullet if you are going to spread out a little bit then it’s okay you know right within reason trying to stay plus EV of course right because the market demand is going to be huge again you could see well I’ve got interesting decision now right I

Already have two outfielders with Bryce Harper if I going to go with another outfielder which is like castanos ha Jaz chisom again I really like to play for all these are large field I’m going to go with my boy Jazz I’m Gonna Keep stacking The Outfield you know now Bryce Harper Julio

Rodriguez Mike Trout Jazz chis talking about guys that have potential to be kind of first round finishers and that’s where we want to be right those topsar guys I don’t know I guess might be somebody rolling their eyes about like injury stuff right now again if you can predict it let me know

How man we can make a lots and lots of money on it in fact if you’re sure of any player that’s going to get hurt you should go bet there unders know their future owners right under home runs and under ribbies and under everything and the fact is just that we

Don’t know also to Mike Trout in particular without sh Otani there trout has the door open to D D no he’s going to play field put at least a DH a couple times a week and maybe keep him out there jazm right now is’s healthy right now he’s also young guys

Now are they necessarily like what you think of as top 50 overall players the answer probably no right the answer is probably no so we’re gonna dip him into the pitching pool I got Gman ranked at the top although I’m a little worried about about him starting late so I have Gallen Nola

Kirby and and we’re going go with r man Zach out kind of perennial sa young Contender Innings horse I know people again trying to dig him for innings in the playoffs I just I don’t I don’t think we figured that out yet you know give me the

Pictures that are really good guys I don’t know have gone out and dominated guys with good secondary offerings that can go distance and get strikeouts on good teams that can get wins oh they call that a segue in the business we didn’t do pitching scoring here check this out
