What’s going Andre romes it’s a beautiful Friday birds are chirping and stuff actually so there were birds chirping the other day but now they might be dead Frozen buried under stuff who knows uh but we’re going to fire up another seven round Vikings mock draft because it’s beautiful uh Michigan pro

Day is going on right now JJ mcari how you doing how you doing so uh let’s let’s dive on in um start tra all right so we’re going to let some picks bleed off here we got it on slow before we moving on up to the east

Side so Caleb Williams one janen Daniels 2 Patriots so may maybe they’re in a Daniels maybe they’re in a may maybe they’re on McCarley who really knows who who who knows what the world will will bring so uh one two three quarterbacks Vikings could get up to

Four now if JJ McCarthy is deemed the guy at seg to I feel like the Vikings are pretty even on May Daniels or McCarthy and of course whichever quarterback they end up with even if it’s pennx or Nicks they’re just be like this is the guy the whole time it’s a

Beautiful thing about the draft so uh the Vikings at four could could make a deal and and remember the Cardinals have another first round pick from the Texans at 27 so the Vikings could make a little bit of bidness here but it is going to it is going to cost a little something

Something to move up right so what what do we do in the spot we include a four include the five include a six 1 2 3 4 get your woman on the floor going to going to get up to get down I think it’s going to cost more though yeah um all

Right so 1123 fourth fifth and sixth as well as a future third uh for 4 and 27 basically basically it’s the cost of 11 to 7 that that’s going to make cost uh for the Vikings offer trade enhance enhance oh we did it so now let’s take Marvin Harrison Jr you want

To get nuts let’s get nuts but uh all so we got 10 trade offers it’s going to be fun do we flip this to the Broncos actually I just want to see how how much we oh no yeah we can’t get into 2026 picks uh so we’re here chilling we know

What’s happening we know what’s happening we’re going down down an earlier round so JJ McCarthy Dynamite you are the next quarterback of the Minnesota fight Vikings uh but I I think it’s important it’s unlikely that quu will be able to hang on to that 2025

First rounder but it would be nice oh oh let’s speed this thing up otherwise this will take forever there you go I want to go fast uh and also it’s great that we’re stayed in the back end of the first round at 27 from Arizona so we got our

Quarterback Johnny Newton is of course our guy like I honestly would feel comfortable if they took him at 11 uh but in the simulation he ends up there um let’s see M Murphy goes Arizona took Joe alt it’s pretty good deal for them at 23 they took Graham Barton kind of

Kind of like that uh so the Vikings are now on the clock of 27 jpj is there chilling dzon Newton is also there uh Zack Frasier is our guy who we know and love uh Kool-Aid is there coola uh sril I I Feel Like Mike sril might be the most underrated uh

Cornerback in this draft pound-for-pound all right so we’re doing this by Tyler Newman’s just there pton Wilson so it it’s a tossup I mean jpj or Jon I feel I I feel like the interior offensive line is a little bit deeper in this draft than defensive interior I feel like defensive interior

For specifically for the guys who can generate their own pass rush I think it’s relatively thin so for me I’m going to take Johnny Newton in the spot all right so we got quarterback we got defensive tackle and also we didn’t give up uh future first

Rounder which is nice but it did thin out our picks a little bit giving up 456 uh so we have four selections remaining uh 129 uh let’s get this on screen 129 167 230 and 232 all right so got cam Hart on board uh gendo R Johnson Christian Boyd all right

So in tior offensive line uh we would like to Target uh but also don’t want to overdraft uh in the spot so Zach zenter is there Drake nent uh is a guy that we hype up a lot Tanner bortolini yes uh CJ Hansen uh is the new small school dude

All right so in this spot I mean cam Hart makes the most sense McKinley Jackson uh if they want a a nose tackle um yeah all right so Tak camart in this spot so length on the outside versatility show great at the Senior Bowl lot lot of upside in that spot um

So we got three picks remaining Keegan is there uh sunshell McGregor Michigan Pro Day representing all right tier offensive line so Keegan news red is there news R have himself uh you know solid combine too bortolini we could take a little bit later all right so Keegan I’m going to

Take in this spot uh so Keegan a little bit less heralded uh than Zack zinter uh but also doesn’t have the injury stuff but would be a great depth piece to the Vikings interior offensive line uh two picks remaining uh so Isaiah Davis could have a hammer at running back but also could

Probably get him as a udfa especially as a regional pick uh chis Jacobs I like try Knox Evan Anderson of course we we always take him as a nose tackle uh trying to change things up a little bit Dallas Gant I feel like would be great as a seventh round

Linebacker um O Holy Cross is he there holy Calamity actually no no no no no no no no no no where’d he go no yeah crap CJ Hansen went is what it is uh so Hansen is there uh we can take where’d he go I mean Carter Bradley it’s kind of

Interesting too no TR Trevon Wallace downhill physical freak at linebacker and the last one last chance Last gasp I mean do just take Evan Anderson I mean we could uh any wide receivers of note not really uh any tight ends not not really oh span Ford again the plan is we’ll get span

Ford and Isaiah Davis as udfa but I do want to secure the rights to Evan Anderson I mean Evan Anderson’s our guy I I know that we generally tend to pick him quite a bit later on in these mock drafts but yeah our crushes are our crushes especially since it

Worked out since you do have Johnny Newton up at the top there you go so uh Vikings a little bit condensed uh draft uh sweet this year uh because moved up to four but did get 27 back Vikings gave up 1123 456 and a future third but that’s

Relatively okay because the Vikings are on line for some uh comp pick compensation as well as they didn’t give up the future uh first round pick which may be a deal breaker uh when it comes to these negotiations moving forward but relatively okay but JJ McCarthy big big time on third down Big

Time clutch throws hasn’t blossomed into the quarterback that he’s going to be he’s more than a game manager he’s more than Teddy Bridgewater he’s more more than that man and uh if Kevin mconnell and maau are completely sold on him and he’s the guy he’s the guy right and oh

Why you taking quarterback four this is a different quarterback class than previous these years 27 so Johnny Newton down there Fallen will certainly take him a quick ass First Step good against the run to just disruptive that’s exactly what the Vikings need uh Evan Anderson is going to be a great nose

Tackle coming in from Florida Atlantic has size can two Gap also has some pass rushing upside uh to great in all the postseason work as well uh Camp Hart length on the outside great Senior Bowl I think that he’s uh the type of corner that uh Flores can definitely mold on

The back end uh Trevor Keegan uh going to get in there and compete for one of the Guard spots mve forward Trevor Wallace in the linebacker mix as well as a plus special teamer right away so this how went down again not giving up the future first it is really key

Quarterback of the future uh you sutured up the uh the defensive line as well as you got yourself into your offensive line and some cornerback depth basically checked all the boxes on this one so uh that’s it seven round Vikings mock draft on this beautiful Friday you guys know

What to do skull production value

  1. Rather move back and add picks on day 2 and get playmakers than lose all that draft capital for a player who ain't did nothing to believe he's worthy of that kind of capital. Penix is clearly a betta qb and we don't have to give our entire draft to get him.

  2. Mann! Can't wait for the breaking news on the trade up, don't know about true addiction, all respect out there, but I'm itching for the news.😂

  3. Hear me out…. Trade JJ to CHI to get Drake Maye and big haul, then trade back up again with AZ & get MHJ. Boom!! Our whole future solved.

  4. The more I watch film breakdown of Maye's All-22 the less impressed I am. People keep harping on his size and Herbert/Allen comps, but the kid needs a drastic overhaul of his mechanics and footwork.

If he dropped to 11(unlikely), I'd be ok with taking him as a 1-2 yr project, but I don't like the idea of trading up for him.

McCarthy is more polished, has as good if not better arm, better footwork, better speed/athleticism, is also young with room to grow, and is clutch in big moments. A trade up to 4 or 5 for JJ won't require nearly as much as going to 2 or 3.

People see Mayes body type and think Allen/Herbert, but his tape doesn't match either of them. He's stiff/not as athletic as Allen and doesn't have as strong of arm as either of them. I'm getting Blake Bortles vibes.

If they trade to 2 or 3, I hope it's for Daniels only. If they go to 4 or 5, gimme JJ all day. If they miss out on both, get BPA at 11 and Nix at 23.

Daniels, JJ, or Nix(in that order)

  5. Trading with the Cardinals and swapping both 1st round picks sounds brilliant to me. I think this is a fantastic idea. Taking a 1st round QB that might not even play this year and then waiting ALLLLLL the way until the 4th round to make just our second selection would be brutal.

  6. The more I see how much itll take to trade up. The more I want to stick and pick. Newton at 11. Penix at 23. They both got them dawg in em. And you aint coughin up anything future.

  7. How about
Vikings get: Justin Herbert, Marvin Harrison Jr, & #35
    Arizona get: Justin Jefferson
    Chargers get: #11, #23, #27 (Charger keep their #5)

How? A 3-team trade and fook the competitive advantage of having a rookie QB than building a roster to support the QB, go for the damm Super Bowl you have a improve Defense and top offensive weapons and two top tier tackles. Just need some work on the interior O-Line.

    1. Vikes trade JJ to Arizona for #4, #27, and #35

    2. Vikes draft Marvin at #4

    3. Vikes use #11, #23, #27 trade for Herbert, Vikes and Chargers split the $50 million bonus cost

Arizona getting JJ by trading two 1st and one 2nd rounder for JJ, that’s a deal.
Jim Harbaurgh gets #11, #23, and #27 to build his roster PLUS Chargers STILL have their #5 pick and likely will land McCarthy.
Vikes don’t have to spend money on a WR but instead use that money they were going to spend for JJ on Herbert, re-structure Herbert’s contract.

    Everyone wins.
1st round draft is a crapshoot, a lot of bust. Vikes to need to get a sure QB in Herbert.

  8. Number two or stay put I like how you drafted yesterday putting us back at 22 and 23 and then 32 the only thing I would of added is make the chiefs give up sneed he want to be a Vikings and makes our DB room official! Then we don’t have to worry about copper going to Green Bay 💡

  9. Skip on JJ! He's overrated and will be picked apart in the NFL. All in for Maye or if we miss him, trade down for more picks.

  10. I like it! Probably much more likely to get 35 back vs 27 given Arizona is trading out of a spot to get the best OT or WR… But even 35 is incredibly solid for adding another potential starting piece to our OL or DL

  11. So thankful for this channel it is my peace my serenity and my zen and the humor is priceless and I definitely need my humor so thank you 🤍🤍🤍🏈✝️💟™️✅

    Logan Lee Defensive Tackle Iowa
    Round 7 pick 230
Fabian Lovett Defensive Tackle Florida State
    Round 7 pick 232

  13. The Minnesota Vikings are not trading Justin Jefferson and why are a lot of people mentioning that the Vikings should trade him when the fact is that if the Vikings trade Justin Jefferson to another team and then it will be just as horrible of a trade as when Randy Moss was traded to the Raiders back in 2005 as a middle finger to the fans by former Vikings owner Red McCombs before selling the Vikings to the Wilf family.
