Check your stance width golfers, it matters! #golf #golfswing #golftips



🤯 It’s NOT about the club…

A lot of golfer set up with a narrow stance because they are afraid of having a stance too wide, when most of the time that narrow stands causes a lot of their swing faults.

Narrow stance causes a lack of stability in the golf swing.

– Sway in the back swing

– lack of depth with your hands and arms, leading to your left arm breaking down

– getting to the top of your backswing with too much mass and pressure on your lead leg.

At impact he’s struggle with the two-way miss and also hitting behind the golf ball a lot.

Both of these are consistent with golfers that have a stance that’s too narrow and as a result they’re really struggle stabilizing in their golf swing.

Golfers will often reference at their stance with needs to be “ shoulder width apart” this is true for some and the point that I wanted to make is that his shoulders were 19 in wide, but the stance with was only 11 in wide.

The thing that @jumpguyty referenced that was fantastic is once we widen your stance you said you felt like you were more in your squat stance. which led to a great increase in stability in your backswing.
