Eagle I’m decking this one that’s a tough shot with this time of day temperature There we go Eric and I are playing nine holes this Tuesday morning we play every Tuesday uh we play a birdie game so I didn’t hit the best t- shot off this hole so now I got a 195 yards I got a hook at six iron I’m playing it you know

A lot of guys would pick it up and throw in the Fairway but no we we got we we got to play and try to make birdies I love this event I I you know I watched on TV all my life and I think I developed a an opinion for the course

When I was younger watching on TV I thought it might was a little overrated I didn’t think it was great I got here for the first time last year I was like I couldn’t have been more wrong this is such a such a great course a great test

Like you look at the list of winners it’s like kind of unlike any other list of winners it’s like you get you get kind of everything it’s amazing how fast these are yeah they are I don’t know they they’re going to get they’re going to cut him and roll

Them so much that they’re just they’re going to get firm they’re going to just be firm come on get five by him that should be like 15 20 25 Go game feels pretty good I just I haven’t had many great results um missed the last two cuts but game feels great I

Just got to stay patient that’s that’s kind of where I’m at I think I can’t get too upset because I know I’m doing the right thing so like when you like that’s the hard hardest part about being a pro golfer I think is as long as your processes are where

You kind of your standard is then you just kind of got to be patient you know you just got to try to beat Eric in these birdie games because I know if I beat Eric then I’m doing something right thatf no not Netflix I haven’t made it that

I’m Kevin U and I’m from Taiwan and then uh the reason I got to this game is because my dad he was he he’s still he’s still a professional golfer and he owns a driving range so I basically grew GRE a out in the driving range and he

Started like teaching me how to play golf I play a tournament and I I I I show show a million and losing to a bunch of guys and I hate losing I told myself I want to I want to be good at this game I want to be everyone so I

Started like really grinding and trying to love this game yeah the moment you got your PGA Tour C at the corn FY tour finals it was an emotional moment yeah I’ve been dreaming that since I was really young so like the moment you you realize that you actually did it yeah

I’ve been dreaming this for a while 20 years it’s long Time it’s okay I think about like all the hallways we’ve been put on and you know we always talk about like how can we get on tour and now we’re here and think about that moment just just Priceless yeah Kevin hey hey good to see you how you doing

Ball at home it could be you know a match against Lizzy my wife at home I mean it could be anything like we when I’m competing I’m I’m showing that type of I want to that want to win you know anything Eric challenged me he said I

Couldn’t hit it over the left trees with the deck so like immediately I’m perked up like that that gets my competitive juices going right there so that’s all it takes I’ll probably try to hit a little cut here over the tree you love the deck oh yeah it’s my

All day trying to stay awake cuz it’s like 4:32 in the morning right now in Taiwan yeah but my mom’s like texting him actually the eagle hole my mom sent in the video I think and he’s like he’s doing so great he’s just [Applause] happy oh where’ it go oh pretty good

Shots oh no it’s over eh could be better he’s ready to putt his pot and trying to make bir a little bit downhill L right to left need to be aggressive a little bit he made it that was nice H it what’s your advice to him going to 17 keep on the

Green maybe well he I was asking him like don’t you think that P was too far like and he was like that’s a hom one ping and somebody just met Hy one this morning and I was like sure I think he’ll probably use a pitching wge probably a pitching wge is half

Pitching wge I think [Applause] it was good for a while and then I thought was I thought was going to stop there and then back sping almost went to watered I was like whoa oh no well got bad luck second time today oh well do better Tomorrow what do you think your dad was thinking as he as he watched he actually caught me on like the little shocking face on 17 so he sent it to my mom but yeah so I guess I guess he was watch yeah I thought he get shot in and almost

Has it so I mean he wants to be here very bad but he didn’t he couldn’t make it so hopefully next year he can Yeah little down so but I think I’m still going to hit driver cuz why not down slope into green shot anywh short right’s fine shorts great don’t you agree 100% got 2789 be 100% sure with Four five footer last hole yeah that’s that’s important you definitely like want to finish strong nothing worse than Thursday evening or anytime finishing around poorly knocking in those four five Footers last hole that’s what it’s all about you know I love that not too happy with the round but um miss a lot

Of drives right today so going to go work on the drive right now want to make sure I can get the ball in the Fairway Tomorrow That fall way behind It what do you see what did that path look like to you from me huh path so what that was shallower yeah does it looks almost too shall kind of not the one going in delivery like maybe right here it might be a hair under but it comes on top empty and then W yeah I hit six Fairways today I won’t cut it you know you could be quite emotional after some rounds but you got to got to assess it without emotion sometimes it’s hard but it’s the proper way to do it I don’t feel like bad with anything it’s just you know bad

Rounds happen so yeah 54 holes left in the tournment 18 fresh holes in the morning perfect condition so that’s what I’m looking forward to you know score we are trying to get a cat I was last night guys not much we just kind of chill prepare for today and relax

And you what it didn’t work Out how do you think he’s feeling right now a little tense maybe just because he’s not scoring the way he wants to but it’s golf like that’s it just got to be in the moment and whatever happens happens he’s a fighter he’s going to be trying

To birdie in every hole after this so hey it’s still doable it’s Nick he’s no give up in this kid which I love usually after the round we’ll have a de bre and then after the tournament see where he went well what he could improve on and then use that for the

Next next week so he does have a lot of trust which I really appreciate I’m very grateful for that so when I am out here I will try and watch every shot he plays and just see how he is so I can just talk to him about the round all right know

Right you want to go playing this such a big tournament I told him all the time I would be like so nervous and he like it’s a tournament but I’m still proud of him my dad’s always talking about it he didn’t say that much but like you can tell he’s so

Proud him my mom as well like we won’t we’re not a family that like talk a lot like express it a lot but like you can tell I was feeling pretty good coming to this week I still feel like I played decent golf just miss some shots that

I’m not supposed to be and uh cost me uh quite a bit over there and on this course just not allow you to miss that shot that you don’t not supposed to miss I feel disappointed for sure cuz I feel like I’m good enough to win golf

Tournaments but I also I feel like it’s just a good lesson for me just knowing that I I I still have the lot of room to to get better this good lck and and hopefully next year come back I’ll play better all right thank you guys appreciate it thank

You tough tournament it’s over for me so you know you just focus on the next one yeah really tournament there’s not really much for me to say it’s just it is what it is I’m not going to get down on myself it’s just you know what happened out there is

What happened and you just kind of move on sometimes when you miss the cut it’s it’s a nail biter at the end this one I put myself out of it pretty early and uh you just kind to get something going so at least leave on a good note and uh

Take something into the next tournament Liz is I mean she’s not only my wife but she was a pro golfer herself so she kind of understands the life understands the ups and downs she can kind of look at things from my perspective truly I lean at her a lot

Whether it’s actually fundamentally in the golf game or how I handled myself U mentally out there uh decisions I made everything that goes into golf um I can ask her and I I really trust her for a great opinion on it I will
