Some B- roll right now for those of you watching and for those of you listening it kind of doesn’t matter because these are the top five tips for setting up as a card show vendor and I kind of toyed with the idea of naming this segment why
You should set up as a card show vendor to put yourself in a better position to make money flipping sports cards so we’re going to get into it right now couple of notes here you want to prep to play a completely different game because at card shows people expect to
Buy at 80% of comps people are trying to get deals so one thing you want to do before I get into my top five tips think about buying cards that you can sell at 80% of comps at card shows think about cards that you can acquire in your daily
Searches whether it be on eBay my slabs my card post could be on veras swap could be at comc could be at Star stock you never know where you’re going to get great deals on sports cards but I want you thinking about if you’re gonna set up as
A card show vendor what cards can you acquire that you can sell at 80% of comps we’ll get into that in a second buy other cards that you’d never sell at card shows but maybe put out to draw people into your cable and don’t sell them into the selling marker so think
About that as well all right let’s get into my top five tips for setting up as a card show vendor number one less is more people I think a misnomer is that you need like value boxes and you need dollar boxes and you need a ridiculous
Amount of cards to make money at card shows on the volume but actually less is more volume does not matter what you need to do is you need to bring cards for your showcase I’ve got three showcases laid out on my table at the Nashville card show did the same at
Culture collision and just bring cards for your showcase don’t worry about having dollar box value box stuff I mean if you have stuff laying around and you want to try to move it at card shows for a lower price lower end stuff that’s great but you don’t have to that’s the
Point you only really need like 50 to 100 cards so if you’ve never set up at a card show as a vendor these are some reasons why so play the game of what you can move at 80% of comps and still profit this is number two if you can’t
Move it at 80% of comps and still profit keep it out to have conversations about it for example my Darius Garland bgs 95 rookie Kaboom everybody kept coming back to see that card I had so many offers on that card that were for just under what
I wanted to sell it for didn’t move it stayed patient not at the sell marker same thing with my Anthony Edwards 2020 prism silver PSA 10 so many conversations about that card everybody wanted that card so I was not willing to move it for under $650 even though I’m really only into
That card about $150 because it was a kraken submit off of an hga 95 to PSA that gemmed even though I’m not into that card for much I was not really willing to sell that card for $550 or less actually everybody wanted it for 80% of $550 because people will just
Walk up to you and say I’m paying 80% of comps and that’s all I’m doing okay well let’s have conversations about the cards that I’m not willing to sell for that price and then I’ll sell you the other ones that I am willing to sell for that
Price so number three put out cards that will attract people back to your showcase but also number three put out cards that have cell markers that are way into the future so way into the future being 12 to 18 months ahead of time cards that you would have to wait
For a long time and have money tied up in for a long time before you crystallize those profits at that sell marker so what you do with these cards is if you can get 30 to 40% margin move it a good example of this is I moved my Arch Manning
Prism throwback burnt orange Auto out of 49 PSA 10 for $900 I was only about $680 some dollars into that card so I moved it for a nice little profit of almost $300 why because I could avoid the eBay fees I could Avo avoid the shipping and I could just get the money
Right there all in cash and not have to worry about being tied up into that card for probably another 12 to 18 months before my Arch Manning sell markers come to fruition so number four and number five I think are probably the most profitable tips number four is setting
Up as a vendor at a card show is the absolute best way to buy Cards you are in a power position why because everybody knows that the vendors are only really paying probably less than 80% of comps right so if you can bulk together a deal at less than 80% of
Comps especially on big cards the percentages compound you really really can get some great Buy Low opportunities at card shows people are looking to move out of stuff that they don’t really care about or that they don’t see the sell markers for so this leads me to tip number five
When someone walks up to your table and asks if you want to buy or trade always see what they have always see what they have regardless if you don’t really want to trade or you’re not really looking to buy having a table at a card show is
Phenomenal for buying and a lot of times you don’t have to pay a lot a whole lot of money for these tables I mean my culture Collision table was right around $200 $250 I believe for a return vendor and that’s about what my table was at the Nashville card show so
I was after that Arch Manning card sale which I by the way that Manning card sale was sold like within 20 minutes of after I set up on Friday so I still had two and a half days of a card show as a vendor and I had already had a
Profit so big time Big Time BigTime move Nashville card show got some great deals just like I did at culture collision and I’m going to get into my updated sports card portfolio now after the Nashville card show so let’s get into that because I know I
Like to be fully transparent with all of you guys about what I’m holding what my plan is and a lot of today’s show is going to be getting into those details so my updated sports card Investment Portfolio and inventory is still very shadur Sanders heavy I’m holding about
26% of my cards are shadur Sanders 3% Travis Hunter uh about 3% Justin Fields we’ll talk about Justin Fields today obviously big news over the weekend Drew Aller 6% Kyler Murray 2.6% Riley Leonard just under 1% Justin Herbert picked up a Justin Herbert Little spoiler alert in Paul’s pickups you’ll hear more about

Show 4.1% Scott still holding the Scotty Sheffer a Tiger Woods Caleb Williams 9.1% even though I did move off of him a little bit Ant-Man still got that one card that’s at .3% same with Killian mbappe Elijah green 1.2% moved a couple of his Drew Jones .5% Joe burrow 4%
Jaylen Herz 3.9 % Trevor Lawrence 2.4% Tua 7% Trey Lance 7% and Drake London 2.7% not to be outdone by Arch Manning I’m down to 5.2% of my portfolio in Arch Manning and Darius garland 8.3% that is by dollar amount so less Arch Manning less Anthony Richardson less brooks Lee
Less Drake May less Drew Jones less green less Jackson chrio a little bit less Jaylen a little bit less James Woods sorry not Jaylen Herz I’m not selling him until September less Marvin Harrison Jr uh no Marvin Harrison Jr remaining actually um other than a
Rambling Man PSA 9 that I picked up so I am uh I do have a basically liquidated all of my Marvin Harrison cards for a pretty massive profit and then traded for a Rambling Man as a throne in so not holding as much Marvin Harrison as I was heading

Get your 20 bucks not a bad idea as especially when an entire year of the magazine cost you $20 and and Lefty and I as far back as about 14 months ago when I was flipping the wemes out of this bad boy right we told you to go

Near the next wemi card it’s not it’s not but the fact anytime you can just immediately flip a Sports Illustrated for Kids card raw consistently for $20 on eBay that means there’s upside in a graded card so a second option is just go ahead and grade that puppy at PSA so that’s what

Excited to submit that in an upcoming 20 card submission to PSA I just basically need to buy one I need to win one more card in an eBay option but I’m going to talk more in this episode about what other card cards I’m going to be submitting along with that Charlie Woods
Card so again say what you will about Charlie Woods as a golfer uh it’s unfair to compare him to his dad but it is a really freaking cool looking card and my guess is that this dude’s probably not gonna have many more cards coming out
You know I could be wrong but I just I don’t see Charlie Woods having many more cards coming out there’s just not a plethora of demand golf cards at all um we hope that the golf card Market continues to grow but there’s just not a plethora of demand like there is for the
Other sports we love golf cards and we want there to be consistent releases we like the fact that Liv has signed with panini and that Panini feels it’s prism like and that there’s going to be some Panini prism Liv golf cards coming in the future we like that Upper Deck has
Some releases coming out but we don’t see many cards in the in Charlie woods’ future so this this could be an interesting longer term hold I’m submitting mine to PSA I’m curious to see what you guys do whether or not you’re into golf cards whether or not

Major League Baseball specifically the prospects of Major League Baseball we’ve talked a lot at the sports card strategy show about the MLB Spring Showcase the prospects were on showcase props to the MLB for putting it together it was a little interesting format they had some Prospect only games where the
Prospects weren’t participating in the same games as the other big Leaguers throughout the week but then they had they also had prospects playing in games with big Leaguers so it was a little bit rough to try to find consistent stats and a consistent way to actually watch
The prospect showcase however uh I have done some digging and pulled to the Forefront some key stats I believe that are relevant to now and the future of baseball cards let’s jump in real quick first off Jace Young Jace Young yes it is pronounced young everybody and it is spelled jng he
Is the younger brother of Josh Young same pronunciation and spelling obviously J of the Rangers Jace Young is the Detroit Tigers 12th overall selection from the 2022 MLB draft he had two homers he’s all business according to the Detroit Tigers personnel and his 2022 Bowman draft draft pick Chrome first Prospect
Auto is up 35% over the last 30 days but the last sale was before his two Dinger performance interesting could be a Buy in my opinion even though we would normally say this could be a sell marker I like the fact that his expected call
Up is 2024 so I think I don’t think now is the cell marker for Jace Young I heard Lefty on Lefty cards say that he might sell one of his jce Youngs and that was before the two Dinger performance just to diversify just to liquidate a little bit because he’s too
Much invested in Jace Young so he wanted to get rid of some of his Jay young but I think and and he said he was gonna buy back in so I agree I think he could be a buy jaay Young is number 60 on the MLB Prospect list I think he’s
Likely to move up especially when you have guys that I’m about to talk about will move off the list soon as guys move off the list I think you’re going to see guys like Jace Young move up the list and again he could get a call up in 2024 as a huge sell
Marker all right next up let’s talk about Jackson holiday Jackson holiday was struck out by Paul skin I know you’re talking about it in the live chat everybody I see you I I see you pretty interesting SK versus holiday skin is like a beast by the way
But I digress skin struck out holiday on March 14th but holiday is still making a push to break camp with the Orioles overall the consensus is that he has impressed in grapefruit play he has gone 10 for 34 that’s just under 300 with two doubles two triples one home run five
Run Homer and five RB eyes in 11 games he’s proving it can handle second base in addition to his natural position of shortstop he did start at shortstop in the Thursday spring breakout contest and let’s remember how young this dude is let’s give a a a pricing update on
The number one overall pick from the 2022 draft the same draft is jaay Young by the way let’s look at his five key cards so his 2022 Bowman Draft Sapphire PSA 10 first this is the same same first Bowman logo as the draft release but this is the draft Sapphire release so Jackson
Holidays PSA 10 is it’s fluctuated quite a bit over the last 30 to 60 days its average price over the last 30 days is $334 its last sale as of this show is $300 which was a week ago so that was on March 12th so that’s that I’m I’m going
To give you my conclusion to what to do with all these cards here in a minute but next up I want to look at his 2022 Bowman Draft Chrome first this is a pop 2335 the first one I mentioned is only a pop 214 so this one just the Bowman
Draft Chrome first PSA 10 pop 2335 this one’s probably relevant to more of you I mean literally 10 times more of you have this card um average sale over the last 30 days $127 this is down 11.7% last sale $116 now let’s look at his refractor this is a bigger
Card it’s still a pretty significant pop pop 1534 so the refractor PSA 10 first out of 2022 Bowman Draft is down about 10% over the last 30 days it sold at 280 30 days ago it sold at 238 yesterday Sunday March 17th so keep that in mind as we roll
Through the next couple of cards here his PSA 9 Auto which I own two of and I know many Loy listeners of the sports card strategy show and premium members of noof season.com own quite a bit of these cards um it’s about the same as the the PSA 9 is about
The same as the raw the PSA 9 is um is uh actually up 11% it’s one of the few Jackson holiday cards to be up it’s up 11% over the last 30 days and the raw is up 18.2% over the last 30 days they’re both right around the same price
So the last sale of the raw did $650 and the last sale of the PSA 9 did $611 kind of crazy that premium raw over PSA 9 but they’re about the same here I’m happy I’ve got two of the PSA 99’s that’s up $61 over the last 30 days the PSA 10 of
This card though is down $195 so that’s down 13.4% over the last 30 days so here’s the conclusion on Jackson holiday my friends stick to the plan stick to the plan the plan is always was hold holiday until call up that was always the plan on holiday hold

Sell marker was going to be this trade this trade before the NFL draft I thought oh he’s gonna go to a team like the Falcons or he’s gonna go to a team I don’t know like the Patriots or like I don’t know the Steelers right like I thought
Maybe the Steelers and be their starter and that that news would take his cards to the Moon we haven’t seen that happen but the good news is we haven’t seen a drop off now granted it’s only been about 24 hours but we see what can happen in a 24-hour period of time
With things like this we are we’ve already seen it with a lot of these cards that we’ve sent out cell alerts for and that we’re about to talk about here in a second so I think the biggest news to talk talk about right now on the
Sports card strategy show is what to do about the fact that Justin Fields went to the Steelers I was a little bit nervous I was a little bit worried over the weekend if he was going to land somewhere I think all said this is a good landing spot for him it’s not what
We thought we were wrong however this is why we like investing and flipping in sports cards versus betting on sports taking player prop bets playing fantasy sports Etc why because you still own the asset and things can still happen into the future so I think we’re still looking at an NFL starting quarterback
Here for a phenomenal organization in the Pittsburgh Steelers that always is in the running to make the playoffs I don’t think a 30-some year old Russell Wilson necessarily is going to last very long as the Steelers starter the Steelers you all have to understand paid a veterans minimum to get Russell Wilson
And that the Denver Broncos are actually paying more than $35 million of his salary to not play for them next year but to play for somebody else in their own conference the Pittsburgh Steelers so the Steelers are only paying Russell Wilson just over a million dollars I
Think the Steelers obviously got a steal over last week adding Russell Wilson and Justin fields to their quarterback room and getting rid of Kenny picket which we’ll talk about here in a second so fields to the Steelers not what we were hoping for in terms of a selling marker
But I think it’s a great Market he looks like the future and I think he’s a solid hold until he gets an opportunity this fall his Market is actually up between three to four% on his graded rookie cards hopefully you bought in low like we told you to a few months back his
2021 prism silver PSA 10 is a card that is up 43.6% after selling yesterday trade day things happen people it sold yesterday for $395 that’s up from $275 a month ago so even though he didn’t go to a situation where we thought he would go to even though this might not have been
A selling marker for most of his cards like we thought it could be we think it’s actually pretty okay for Justin Fields if you bought in I think you’re in good shape if you got that prism silver PSA 10 you could take advantage of that comp that $400 comp I
Just talked about that’s up nearly 44% if you don’t have that card just hold tight there’s going to be a lot of hype when you see Justin Phil in training camp in the preseason in a Steelers uniform I think there’s going to be a lot of hype I think we could see
A lot of people prospecting on Justin Fields as the Steelers backup heading into the 2024 NFL season which would rise his Market quite a bit all right the next thing I want to talk about Brian Steeler 714 in the live chat saying going from Kenny picket and Mason

Titans what did that do to will Lev’s Market okay it’s definitely card dependent for Lev’s particular situation so for example his 2023 prism silver PSA 10 is down 22% his 2023 prism base PSA 10 is down 41% numbers over the last 30 days however his 2023 Don Russ base PSA 10 is up
21% from $32 to $40 upon the news essentially of Pard and Ridley joining the Titans so you have a situation where depending on what Levis card you’re holding you could be in a situation to continue to hold until September which is probably what I recommend that you do
But if you are holding Don Russ Bas PSA 10 and that’s up 21% that actually is a good card to move because that is probably the least desirable out of the cards that are all down right now for Levis you’ve got his 2023 prism rookie variation silver that’s down 12% in PSA
10 his 2023 prism disco down 18% in PSA 10 so the collateral impact actually didn’t move Lev’s Market that much overall but think that Don Russ base PSA 10 is a sell not just based on the fact that it is up but also based on the fact
That it’s one of the more it’s one of the least desirable cards for Levis right now that is actually liquid so over the last 30 days there have been multiple sales uh but over the weekend there were multiple sales of the following players Drake London and Kyle pittz based on the Kirk
Cousins acquisition in Atlanta this was huge news last week Lefty and Connor touched on it quickly on Lefty cards but I’m gonna break down here Connor also mentioned Drake London I’ve mentioned Drake London on this show I’ve bought a lot of Drake London and Connor said he
Liked them as a byow his 2022 prism Sil PSA 10 Conor mentioned a week ago on Lefty cards right here on the noof season.com sportscard network but let’s look at what just this Kirk Cousins acquisition has done to the Drake London Market his 2022 contenders number 115 rookie ticket Auto
PSA 10 is up 25% that’s $25 from 100 to 125 over the last 30 days is 2022 optic downtown PSA 10 is up $110 which is 35% up from 315 to $425 his 2022 prism rookie autograph PSA 10 is up 20% from $70 to $84 and that prism silver PSA 10 is up
36.4% from 44 to $60 whereas it was down when Connor said it was down a week ago it is now up 36% based on the news so this collateral effect this collateral impact if you will is a real thing now Kyle pittz his 2021 optic downtown PSA 10 is up
22% that’s the highest sales volume of any Pitts rookie PSA 10 so don’t go saying oh way to pick out the downtown Paul way to pick out the only card that’s up no no no my friends that’s the card with the highest sales volume of any pits rookie PSA 10 that’s up from
$240 to $293 his overall rookie PSA 10 Market is up 12% in the last 30 days it’s up 15% in the last 14 days and it’s up 11% in the last seven days all right one more guy I want to look at real quick in terms of
Data and that’s Jaylen Herz I’ve been big on buying Jaylen Herz since his Market was down in November and December last year I’ve been big on looking at buying Jaylen Herz particularly the 2020 optic Hollow PSA 10 that card’s up 2.3% from $220 to $225 over the last 14
Days slight bump since the addition of Barkley the 2020 prism base PSA 10 is up 32% okay so that could be a card to potentially sell now depending on if you got into it for $57 or less that is up to $75 now I know one of our one of our
One-on-one strategist people went and bought that card based on our recommendation at no off season.com his 2020 Mosaic based PSA 10 is also up 20% that’s up to $27 so that’s not a huge bump from $22 but guys that’s a tough card to move because that’s just a base
Mosaic from 2020 PSA 10 so I’m not saying move it now but I’m just telling you it’s it’s up his 2020 Don Russ base PSA 10 is up 41.2% that’s up to $50 from 35 so the collateral impact of NFL moves is something to continue to pay attention

Best chance of holding up the PSA in the vintage baseball card Market cgc has only been grading sports cards since 2021 but they are backed by the largest coin and comic collectible company in the world um and what we believe that means and based on our tour of the cgc
Cards headquarters building that they will be on the rise cgc cards slabs on the secondary Market will be on the rise throughout the years so if you’ve got vintage baseball out of all those options I would actually send it to SGC because they are going to hold up best
To PSA on the secondary market for vintage and they’re going to be cheaper and they are going to turn it around quicker so Callahan let us know how you do with that and uh we’re very very interested in the uh the grading world so please report back uh who’s your card

Weekend because they’re all considered top 10 college QBs heading into 2024 along with shadur Sanders Dylan Gabriel now at Oregon the problem is I don’t think he has the right cards so he’s got uh his first Bowman Chrome Autos are in 2021 Bowman U which was not a chrome
Release and it was an unlicensed release so on unfortunately Dylan Gabriel I don’t believe has the right cards out yet what’s interesting though is if he does have cards in an Oregon uniform potentially in 2024 Bowman Chrome and they’re affordably priced and maybe he’s projecting into the NFL I could change
My mind on him but for now I don’t love the Dylan Gabriel play Kaiser s 1209 Paul asks anyone else using the big dance March Madness to sell some of their Bowman U raw cards having some success selling some base pink refractor high-numbered cards I’m not GNA grade
