Taylormade is suing Costco over the latest Kirkland Signature irons.
🤷♀️ Why?
Taylormade claims, Costco not only was inching too close to their tech in the P790s – but that Kirkland is false advertising the build of the irons.
There was no other way to get to the bottom of this rather than chop ’em open ourselves.
If you wanna learn more about the lawsuit and how it’s all goin down just search Kirkland on mygolfspy.com 😉
Taylor Made is suing Costco Taylor Maid has officially filed suit over Kirkland and the southern Californian design company which if you’ve heard of Indie golf you know what I’m talking about tailor maid thought that Kirkland was inching a little too close to their features in Tech specifically of their
P790 irons Costco claims that they have an injected urethane insert well tailor maid says that’s completely false to get the legal jargon out of the way the file reads the statement by defendants that the accused products contain an injected urethane insert is literally false or the alternative is
Misleading it’s pretty clear that the kigs do have something inside them does feel rubbery and a little bit responsive from the tailor maid side if we threw ourselves into 10 years of product development and design all just to have it ripped off you could consider me just
Short of a heart attack do you care if they’re injected molded or really just about the $4.99 price tag let me know down below

Why are you the real life elista girl. She's my Mrs. Incredible 😏
I'll let ya know down below. . . .
I'll take the Kirkland Signature irons over the P790. SUCK IT TaylorMade.
Same Chinese crap.
Price wise, I'd always go with the Kirkland. All big golf company prices are a rip off
Took em ten years to get the law degree maybe.
Tm is gonna lose
499 would be great but I’m a lefty so who knows if we will ever get a set of these irons…
$1400 Taylormade p790 or Costco $499? I'll take $199 Costco driver (Titleist TSR2 look a like)and Costco irons $499. And save $700, that's a tough decision. 😂
Taylormade have been “reinventing” from old clubs for years – they can enjoy someone else doing it back to them…
So the ping anser has never been "ripped off" some big firms that have made a singular living off the blade style putters would be in big trouble?? 🧐
All clubs are injected with urethane! So what! The insides of these don’t look anything like TM. They’re probably made in China and China has permission from the administration to steal any and all our intellectual property. China holds our debt, manufactures our drugs and most everything else. Trump tried to ween us off China but the Eliteist Politicians said no we are removing you! They need the money to keep coming in to the campaign coffers! I like the price of the irons! Clubs are too damn expensive.
The kirkland one looks kinda better though
The Costco ones look almost identical to the first generation P790 irons.
You should cut one of them open and compare.
Noone cares. Charge less
Costco better way less markup
How do they hit?
Wait a minute, Taylormade stole the patent from PXG anyway. Not sure why their butt hurts when Costco does the same thing.
Ripped off? Looks like a different material, and design to me. So you're saying golf equipment is insanely marked up? 🤔
It’s the same with designer clothes costing an outrageous amount when the actual cost to make it close to nothing. This thing of monopolizing the market is bull shit.
Weren't the 790s just a rehash of the 1988 TM Flextwists?
All sort of overpriced and not good enough quality.
Way to go COSTCO! 😅
Price tag is everything for me.
