What do you think when around there in the end you got to find a way to close out of games this is a great opportunity for us to realize that you can’t take anything for granted because in a couple of months doesn’t matter how tired you

Are at the end of a game or you know we got to find a way to push through we didn’t find a way you know we played a real good game we’re on a back toback Edmonton’s not you know um but nonetheless we did a really good job

Checking our golender did his part I think we did a good job not taking penalties against a real good power play you know but in the end they found a way to just squeak one by us you you said you can’t get tired is it more mental

Fatigue to you or physical it’s mental in the playoffs everything’s mental everybody’s on an equal playing field you’re playing the same team that has the same many days off rest whatever you know and that’s where you got to dig in find a way so for me it’s it’s an

Opportunity to start growing for the playoffs the mindset and the physical execution you need what do you think you guys did well in the second and most of the third to limit their chances I thought we did a really good job all game limiting their chances to

Be honest I mean that’s last two games I think we’ played the two highest scoring teams per game in the league so um I’m happy about the way we checked I’m happy about the way we’re staying above pucks not giving up odd man rushia I do think

Our game needs to improve going the other way we’re creating turnovers and we’re not today was not as good as yesterday and and that’s where I could see that we were a little bit tired was that we were not transitioning to offense very well you know we weren’t we

Didn’t have the jump but if you check in this league you give yourself an opportunity we got a point because we checked well not because of our offensive game what did you see on the game TI goal game TI and goal I I saw we just

Missed preventing the D to D and then McDavid beat us to the goal line he got around us and then I mean I I think it’s a lucky goal pops up in the air and goes in that perfect space behind our goenda crossbar

  1. Another give away in the third period. I’m looking for leadership to step up and I do not see it. Shake this team up at the trade deadline. Get someone’s attention

  2. Montgomery doesn’t know what to do to fix the Bruins. He inherited an excellent team and doesn’t know how to fix problems. First round exit.

  3. here's a clue Jim, STOP protecting the lead and play offense until the END – especially against McDavid geezzzz

  4. A little irritated eh Monty, bruins need to put forth more commitment simple as that team need to close games out like Monty said. Come 1 month from now this is a game 7 another failed season. Commitment, dedication and focus is needed for us moving forward as a team.

There is no I in team it’s all of us together we need to get the ship right before next month

  5. for the first 58.5 minutes of the game , the Bs are ine of the best offensive and defensive teams in the NHL, but with 1.5 minutes left and particularly into OT everything flip flops. they become the worst defensive team in the NHL and one of the worst offensively. this coach doesn't know who to put on the ice in crunch time and he doesn't know how to run a 3 on 3 system. same crunch time problems as last years playoffs. meet the new boss. same as the old boss.

  6. Must be nice to play for a coach that makes excuses for everything. Was his excuse losing in the first round last season that they won too many games last season?
