It’s it’s ridiculous that we dominated that game I watched it back today and I very rarely do that do to watch it with like no emotion yeah and they they scored against the Runner play yeah they did yeah like people keep talking about the first 10 15 minutes where we did

Look a bit ropey and it was I was thinking that but it I was thinking then ah we look like a team that’s gone we’ve looked at our own team sheet and gone don’t fancy us today and we were we were a little bit hesitant but as we we then

Grew into the game which speaks volumes about all these Lads especially the youngsters but with we’d already had two or three really good opportunities before they scored we were already on top we were already dominating and I know klopp said Joey saw the best 53 minutes against Man City

I think it was longer than that I think I think we dominated more of that game than 53 minutes they were playing like like everyone plays against them they were hitting or something their chances came from sitting in and hitting us on the break which is wild like it’s

Wild we’re talking about man City and the ground was magnificent as well um you know it really was it was like you know everyone was talking about s of you know we wanted to be fedal we wanted to be this we wanted to be that

It was all of those things was it cuz I was asking about this it was really good mate it was spot on and it was like you know I was nervous and you know I I felt like it was one of those I don’t very

Often now have a p before the game and and and sometimes you know not even as regularly afterwards but like um before and this town I just felt like I needed it I I know that’s not a great place to be but it was just you know like to calm

The nerves basically cuz I did have that proper like you know that that belly of anticipation beforeand and all that kind of stuff so you know we my mat felt the same way so we you know we met up before and we had a few pains and it was good

But the PB was chucker and and it just felt like as though everyone was in the in the same frame of mind and then you know the ground was great it was really loud like me watch was going off every two second saying loud environment all

Kind of stuff calm down it’s like shut up it’s meant to be like this um what was really funny and I hadn’t got on you know where I am in the cop I did not hear Man City their fans at all ever in the throughout the 90 and I’m sure they

Were making noise but you know it just never it never filtered through to where I was to me you know the atmosphere in the cop was brilliant um it was pretty incessant it was like it was definitely loud it was all the things you wanted to

Be we boo you know booing them and hissing them and the pan arm stuff but you know and I thought it it looked like it got to them you know like they were they made loads of mistakes they were like you know passing it out of play and

All things like that that you wouldn’t expected them and I was thinking it’s working this it’s working come on and it it was great it was really good and you know um I think it was I mean it’s again hard for me to say from my position but

I think you know the new Annie Road and all that I I think they were contributing there all I was judging that by was like you know like Al I could see like scarf spinning at that end of the ground as well as down the

Sides and all the rest of it and I was like feels like the whole ground’s up for this and like no one can say to us yeah well this is what I was about to get to I was about to say no one can say to us where’s your famous atmosphere and

Yet apparently although I didn’t hear it myself but I was tweeted about it there was a l like it was 20 minutes of in sessions brilliant support and atmosphere then there was a little lull and apparently they sang it that L where’s your famous you’ve just seen it

Your B it’s affecting how your side’s playing like he all right that’s wild you know what I mean that is that’s unbelievable like it’s like just squeeze it in now while especially when like you know some of the [ __ ] that You’ had that thatr recently you know like that fell

Like you know um commentating when the the team and getting off the coach and all that and then they’ve got some kinds of fella giving it beans in the ground before oh yeah it was quite funny I put I there was a clip of it the other week I think

It was before a Champions League game or something and I I put it in a like my mat’s WhatsApp WhatsApp group and one of my mates put looks like they couldn’t get 50 Cent there and they got 50p because but it it was cringy do you

What I mean it was like I wouldn’t want I mean like there’s been a bit of an Americanization if you like of of what happens you know ER before during and after if you like Alan field but I think we’ve we’ve R we’ve kept the rain on

Played and all this kind of stuff and it made me laugh to still see grown men saying not you weren’t that great or you did it wasn’t a great match or whatever come on like what do you what I mean so got the stats there um we dominated

Possession uh which doesn’t happen very often against Manchester city so we nearly 53% for Liverpool uh we dominated in terms of shots 19 on attempts on their goal and there’s some more stats about that as well which I’ll come to later on um our passing accuracy was better we won more

Corners um they had more yellow cards uh they probably should have had more as well um and obvious the situation means that Liverpool are um joint top in terms of points 64 points both us and Arsenal they are top on goal difference they’ve got seven better than us and then City

At a point behind on 63 H their goal differen is four worse than ours um and obviously quite significantly 11 worse than Arsenal now and but we’ll start with the teams and you know this is obviously the point that you were getting at earlier and it’s a point I

Very much one me so I did hear some praise for Liverpool and you’d expect it to be praised after a performance like that and I read some praise as well but for me as a Liverpool fan looking at it listening to it Etc there’s still not enough like what we’re still doing is

Unbelievable even in this game so you know like when we’re in the pub paint and and team comes through we’re all like a [ __ ] you know is this going to be the one where it’s too much you know starting Bradley you know we we’ve got [ __ ] kaher in goal who’s not the you

Know the first choice and he’s done well and he’s he did well again yesterday but you would still obviously Rather Have Allison you’ve got quanar in there who’s still you know inexperienced in in in terms of his career you know and he’s he’s going up against these lads who as

I’ve already said the build the best in the world you’ve got sabosa you can’t even pay a full game you got Sal only coming on for half an hour etc etc etc even Elliott like leaning on him he’s still a young okay plenty of appearances

They’ll watch LFC TV all day and they’ll watch every game and maybe they even go to k and watch them live and all that and if that’s the way you support Liverpool that’s fine and if you got the time to do that great up the red sound

Made up for you but you know you’re juggling loads of priorities I’m juggling loads of priorities and I didn’t know who Omar and Alo was either and and I be to in the pub with either and we all support Liverpool and I’ve done all our lives and we love them we

Want them to win the league and all the rest of it we’re all looking the the common consensus and no one could get a signal to look it up either it was like is he is he a keeper then yeah is he a

But Joe you just I just went through the the starting 11 and it wasn’t I I don’t know who it was someone did mention on tell it might have been someone on Match of the day two um that of our back five including the keeper there was only I

Think it was might been Danny M or Mark Chapman because they mentioned van dijk and how great he was but if our back five van dijke was the only First Choice player but it goes beyond that and that’s what I wanted to look at it like

So Keller is your second TR goalie at the start of the season and as we’ve all been saying I want to talk a bit more about him but for the purpose of this Kell is your second choice goalie Bradley I’d say at the start of the season is your third choice right back

Because at the start of the Season no one’s saying play Connor Bradley instead of Trent we’re thinking if Trent injured Gomez can play right back aren’t we yeah so that means Bradley is your third choice quansa is your fourth choice Center back vany your first choice obviously

Gomez is your is arguably well at the start of the Season Gomez is your third choice left back because Robertson and simakas are ahead of him i’ take the argument that he’s become our second choice because we could have played Simas if we wanted to and we didn’t so

But even then he’s your second choice left back Endo Endo is your second choice six at the start of the season and Elliot you know and I I’ve put on this list he’s your third choice for that position he might even be lower than that you with the start of the season I

Have said to you how many players do you want to play in that position if mosal is not there before you get to Harvey Elliot he might be Beyond third choice that’s five six out of 11 players do was the one that EV was going to get a game

This season so do would have been ahead of him in that and he was preseason wasn’t he he was playing that position ahead of Elliot when we when we were rotating play that’s six out of 11 players and then we’ve got no M no Allison no Thiago no

Trent no J no Jones no canate and no Ryan graen um and we absolutely bladed them second half um and I I will bang on all day about the Reds being great in this game and I’m I’m I’m honestly I’m honestly done with people trying to tell me something different like there’s some

Man City since February 2013 uh 12 of those shots were in the second half which was the most Man City have faced after halftime in a league game since May 2021 now you know I’m not a fan of some of these like narratives that get sown through stats sometimes but they’re good

Anyone run with the ball for that long with those two players chasing him and come out at the other end with it and when I watched it back to it did make me laugh like that whole thing ended with him R tries to pull him doesn’t he yeah

He left rodri R gave up like he’ gone Kyle Walker not at the end of The Run he did him twice with a dummy and then when he when he tried to pull the ball back just twatted the ball in ha’s face and there’s a proper just a proper comedy

Moment after end of all that it’s like I’ll [ __ ] the ball in your face now just to just to take the piss out of I’m standing on a rake at the end like his leg I just he like music players Walker hits the deck and we get a corner but

That was a perfect example of of the spirit of the team and what was going on it was it was Unreal and look to go back to what you saying before because what got you on to that that was this the sad thing is Diaz’s second half was unbelievable like just an unbelievable

Game today we didn’t win the game but we played man city the way Man City play which has been an evolution in I was thinking about this a lot like this has been an evolution that’s been going on for a few years now we made a purposeful

Decision that we wanted to play more like this we outp passed them not only did we have more possession than them and and more shots but we out passed them we had 584 passes to they 530 how often does that happen to Man City even in games they lose they pass the ball

More than the other team and that’s what he was talking about and Guardiola mentioned it we were passing through the Midfield and like breaking them down through the heart of the pitch where they’re usually the strongest team on the planet for us through that against them with this team not even our first

Choice team that’s the that’s the big that’s the thing and I think this Jo we’ve got this break now them we rattled them we’ve got this break now where oh we we’ve got the FA Cup haven’t we but we play next and if we beat Brighton at

Home we go top of the league and don’t we and we wait for them to play Arsenal I think we’re going to bounce into the last 10 games of the season with this Klo energy like with him going to everyone like and it’s funny that you re referenc that Robertson thing because I
