Interesting UFC Fight Night from a betting perspective on this show we break down every fight we’re tell we’re going to tell you what we like betting wise what we don’t like betting wise method of Victories props things like that let’s just start with there’s a lot of gross fights here J betting wise

There is there there’s so um I guess before we get into fights I will preface this we’ve been on a really really good tear almost unsustainable MH and this is the event that kind of worries me so I will just tell you I will be betting

Very cautiously on this one we’ve hit a bunch of plays in a row on wager talk we’ve hit a bunch of plays in a row on this and we know it’s unsustainable and it doesn’t last so you have to pick your spots and know when you’ve got the good

Reads going and Jim I feel like this card is going to trip a lot of people up who have been doing well over the last few few fights so let’s start with Chad and aler versus Gregorio and I Tech Jim I texted you before I started doing film

Work I texted you I was like we may not get very many more opportunities to bet against Ann heler and then I did the film work and I remember Gregorio from Contender series and I text you and I was like an heler is going to win and I

Thought I would be alone and the line has moved with us so there are other people that agree that are moving this one I haven’t talked to you since you’ve looked into this one what’s your take on this fight well I’ve been swayed uh by you and the masses I thought the same

Thing you know uh Chad Ander has been a really good fade 37 years old but a little few things have come out last fight on his contract he’s he’s openly stated that he knows he has to be exciting he needs a win he wants to get

Another contract this is this is not a 37-year-old coming off consecutive losses that’s ready to hang it up um if he can stick around he’s going to do everything within his power to stick around and I think he’s really going to fight for your money and you know I

Think the other thing that S A lot of people is look you can’t knock this guy out he’s only finished by submission it’s a weakness but I don’t see Gregorio being this dominating submission artist to to get Chad out of here uh that line move was severe that was severe he went

Plus 170 to plus 140 overnight I mean we talked I think at like 11:30 at night and by 700 a.m. it was gone long it was um so yeah I think this is kind of one of those situations where if this gets out of round one I think Chad is going

To pull this off he’s not going to go away he’s notorious iously tough um gorio is dangerous in round one but you know we really kind of have questions so you can’t ignore what’s going on with these Contender series guys it it even when they win they don’t look good they

Just haven’t and the question is is the talent pool drying up um are these guys all getting pushed way too hot way too soon because they’re Dana’s favorites uh We’ve we’ve seen it um it’s not liked two years ago when we had these guys coming off Contender where you knew they

Could Jump Right In or coming off The Ultimate Fighter you know Brian battle case in point you know nobody ever thought he’d be what he is in the UFC uh go to the ring turns it this so yeah fighter yeah I like the plus money this guy Gregorio fought on Contender series

Was absolutely awful absolute trash like sorry to Cameron Smotherman I’m sure he’s a nice person but to get a contract by knocking that guy out is is is really something and my take on this is ander’s been around the block man he’s a veteran and like you said he’s going to fight

For your money he’s fighting for his money he’s going to fight for this money this this Gregorio he is not uh he’s not doesn’t have a lot of depth with his weapons he doesn’t have a whole lot of in his Arsenal and and and ER can dirty

It up I think he can work some grappling I think he can work some takedowns and he he may have the energy when Gregorio realizes he’s not going to be able to knock him out and we we’ve seen the judges reward the more exciting fighter and then heler is not exciting but after

That first round I think he is going to be the more active fighter and I think he is going to grind this out I could see this Gregorio drop kind of falling off a cliff after the first round or even in the first round when it when

Gregorio’s like oh I’m going to walk through this guy and all of a sudden and there’s an heler circling around clipping him getting some takedowns and stuff an eler was so small compared to Jose Johnson in that last fight and I know he got finished but he kind of held

His own it you know it wasn’t a complete domination from start to finish so he’s coming off of two losses but I think Ed heler pulls off the the I think I think he pulls off the quote upset I just I don’t trust this guy coming off a

Contender series who really has not shown me much of anything when you go back and look at it look at some of the other of his other fight it’s amazing to say Chad and helinger is a step up in competition but I think he’s a big step

Up oh he definitely is that’s not a question yeah yeah yeah so it’s it’s kind of these Contender series guys you’re fading him the the difference between the contender series and then once you fight a a a a bad Contender series fighter compared to a bad UFC

Fighter is just night and day we’ve seen it so and helinger is going to be the pick at nice plus money tago Moes and Mitch Ramirez speaking of contender series we got Mitch Ramirez except Mitch Ramirez lost on Contender series now he lost to our boy Carlos pratz but again

There’s another proest the another Contender series guy that won but was losing until he got I mean was two down two nothing down to not not close round down we thought abely dead dead on Prest yeah so Mitch Ramirez loses I I went and watched this taras

Fight what a circus that was um that was like the JV version of um Kevin Holland and and Michael Venom Pig uh I think Thiago Moises runs through rich Ramirez the odds suggest that I don’t know if we need that much more analysis I mean talk

About a get right spot you can come off a lost to benw ston and you get Mitch Ramirez I’m not really sure Mitch Ramirez is in the same level is Thiago Moises I think it’s a waltz for for Moises here and I don’t think I need to

Break it down any any other way what do you think a lot of the take that I’ve heard on on Thiago is that he’s a bad nail and and that may be so um Mitch is going to come forward in this first round but look Thiago is not over the hill and I

Know he doesn’t have the best chin in the world but we’ve seen when Thiago gets a step down in competition he just he runs through these guys he does you know when he’s not fighting benois ston who looks like he’s two weight classes above him um he

Just really has tough fights that win against Costa that’s a great win great win I like Costa Costa’s a good fighter Costa is a really good Fighter um Christos Giagos again finish you got to finish Christos Giagos if you are legit he did Joel Alvarez that fight I mean

Look if you guys don’t know Joel Alvarez look how big he is it was he 6′ three yeah he’s monster for the class he’s a monster and that’s a different kind of bully than with Mitch what Mitch mirez is going to bring that’s way different

Contender series guy so Danny Silva Contender Series win he landed over 200 significant strikes on the feet well there’s a problem his opponent also landed 200 significant strikes against Danny Silva you go back and look at that fight and it was just like the eye test okay it was fun

It was exciting it was kind of everything you want in the contender series fight but that was also everything I don’t want in a UFC fighter it was very one-dimensional it was yes I’m going to punch you and then you punch me and then I’m going to punch you

Two times and you’re going to punch me three and then we’re going to get commended by the announcers on how tough we are I was like well okay but there’s levels to this game and I didn’t see any anything from Danny Silva and you go

Look at his you go look at his fights I’ve I’ve gone and watch him in LFA by the record he’s fought some pretty decent guys but he watch his his fights and there’s just not a lot of things that differentiate differentiate him he doesn’t throw kicks like kib B does he

Doesn’t move around like kib bow does and I saw an interview with kib B talking about how confident he is in this one kly Bal like loves this matchup and I didn’t mean like like way too cocky I I I met like he was like we got

This like like we’re going to we’re going to be a real problem for this guy kibow is around the minus 200 I think after this fight I think it’s going to feel like a steal because I think Danny Silva it’s going to be a little bit too

Much for Silva and he could be a little bit dear in headlights uh with some of the movement when he realizes that kba is just not going to stand there and let him punch him which a lot of opponents of Danny Sil have let him do what’s your take on this fight

So we’ve always said and and this is a personal theory of mine is uh when you’re talking about a fighter and the first thing that you say is that they’re tough that is one of the biggest red flags that you can ever have look I’m not saying toughness isn’t important

Cheto Vera tough as Nails saw that last week Cheto Vera get his ass kicked in that fight Cheto Vera got his ass kicked in that fight but he’s tough man he but he’s tough but he’s tough like oh he ate that knee well you know he got

5045 so can’t really hang my hat on that for a fighter um it’s just a veteran lesson doesn’t it just smell like I’ve been there done that I’m here you’re just getting here veteran lesson uh I think if kib ba is still there in the second and the third Danny Silva puts

Himself In Harm’s Way and we saw that with the strike totals I mean it’s a stupid amount of strike totals you cannot have a 400 a three round Contender series fight just and and you brought this up it’s okay we’re down on cool people are

Down on coly B why because he lost to Lone Murphy the dude is a monster and he went the distance with Lon Murphy if you threw lone Murphy against Danny Silva how do you think that fight’s going to end it’d be minus 1100 it’d be laughable

Oh that’s a round one murder uh um so I think this is a like you said it’s it’s almost a Buy Low on coly ba um you know we don’t want to agree on every every fight but I mean this is just to me it’s the veteran I I again I cannot ignore

The statistics of these Contender series Fighters this year yeah kib B’s lost to Lone Murphy and Jaylen Turner two of the biggest guys in the division man like monsters look at that resume so um the pick is coolly bow on this one I think it’s a steal of a parlay piece

Awesome the way he recovered and got the win or or you could say why did he get his ass kicked by Daniel Barz what’s your take on Jael felo in this fight man you know Foo uh first off I’d like to say he’s a really tough

Guy oh no here we go no no I’m actually I’m actually on Foo in this just because I think his opponent has shown the ability to make every mistake possible to lose a fight um OD Osborne is physically over matches half this division okay everybody but the top five

But still manag a way to make fights close to lose fights to make dumb decisions and dumb moments I will never bet on oday Osborne ever again period one time in my life was enough I don’t need the stress um I do like Theo’s game I do now where

I’m going to go with a bet in this fight before I even break this down is I’m already gonna take this fight to not go the distance because either filo’s gonna come out like he did the last fight and gonna be in trouble because oday is a

Tough round one for anybody or it’s going to start round two and then at that point oday has 10 minutes to make the mistake that felo has shown he can capitalize he will capitalize on a mistake um this is minus 280 to not go the distance I think this is a great

Parlay number great parlay piece and if you go down their records their losses are all by finish most of them are by finish and I was shocked when I saw 280 I I handicapped this at minus 350 it’s just to me it’s great value personally yeah filo it’s got a pretty

Oh moving on to Mike Davis and naton Levy this listen this is a perfect fight for this card can I just that’s a great way of putting it let’s take a guy who’s really struggled in the UFC and put him up against a guy who never fights in the

UFC so this guy fought borchev gets the decision um it was a pretty dominant performance he used his wrestling and his grappling but that was 2022 gets the decision win against Mason Joe 2021 Thomas gford who I don’t even remember Thomas gford but that’s 2019 and listen he his loss was to

Gilbert Burns in 2019 when Gilbert burn was no shame that yeah maybe at the peak of his powers God man it’s hard to bet on this guy that doesn’t fight very often because you’re like what am I getting with this guy has he been training like

How can he aford can he really afford to live off of UFC money from 2022 all the way to now and like stay in the perfect fight shape but then Natan Levy is 8-1 but man be jardo Valdez and Mike Breeden and couldn’t get either one of them out of

There it goes to decision I’m all over Mike Davis I am all over Mike Davis I think naton Levy is slow with his striking I think his wrestling and grappling is vastly overrated I don’t think he’s that good at all this is such a fraudulent 8-1

Record and yet I can’t get to the window cuz I just do not trust guys that have this big a layoff at some point Mike Davis is going to show up and he’s just not going to be as good as the last time

We saw him so I this is going to be a fight where I love Mike Davis and I’m just not going to bet it what’s your take on this fight I think this this is a different kind of layoff Mike Davis has done this his whole career this

Isn’t new to him okay now all right from what I found out it’s not heavy injury related I think he had to have some things cleaned up but it wasn’t big I need a year full year rehab um but if you look he’s just not an active fighter

Couple of I mean this guy was buil against gig Chad um they just couldn’t get that fight couldn’t get him to the cage Natan Levy’s profile picture and a topology would make you assume that he is a massive Striker that is not the way that he

Fights that’s a really good point that I mean look at that I mean looks like he’s Chuck Norris reincarnated right he’s Frank Dukes from Bloodsport the guy is a wrestler with no offensive submission threats his striking is pitter patter he doesn’t sit down on his punches a lot of his

Game is built on avoiding the rough and tough parts of the fight he’ll stick a move he he’ll grapple when he has to to slow it down not to dominate and finish fights it’s a different style and I don’t think that Mike Davis is gonna let

Him take his foot off the gas and cruise here I could see Mike Davis pushing the wrestling I could see Mike Davis walking him down and as we know when you are fighting on your back foot there’s one thing you got to remember when you’re

When you’re in a in a conflict here when you are Marching forward you’re using way less energy when you are backing up in somebody’s pressuring you the anxiety of that when you are not a fighter that can fight backwards absolutely exhaust you your brain is working so hard um

George St Pierre talked about this he said it overloads your nervous system and when your nervous system overloads it just sucks the energy out of your body and I could really see Mike Davis wearing on him heavy in round two round three possibly a finish but Mike Davis

Is a parlay piece I can’t argue it man I just can’t I’m not worried about the layoff he’s done in his whole career yeah I I agree with you on the pick uh I won’t get to the window on it but maybe sometimes me being cautious I lay I end

Up laying off some winners so and that’s okay and that’s okay we manag our B the show it’s yeah we say we lay off winner we rather lay off a winner than give out a loser so Gerald mirart Brian barbarina Jim coming to you first what’s your take

On this fight thank you uh all right I’m not betting on Brian barbarena come on you guys know this we can’t we can’t bet on Brian barbarena this is another one that man could I see not going in the distance it’s line that way I think it’s

Still parlay I want to say it was minus 200 last I checked uh these guys are coming off just loss after loss after loss Lo but if we look at this whose strengths could be the most successful in the other person’s weakness in this fight would you say that standing Brian

Barbarena poses more of a threat than Gerald meard if it’s grappling why do they keep get do they not like Brian barbarena it’s like like a just a gat flying around they can’t get rid of him they can’t get rid of him but they and they’re like we’re trying we keep giving him

Grapplers like they just fought muradov they just gave him gunar Nelson and RDA and now they’re giving him Gerald mirart it’s just like how much more obvious can we make it that we don’t like Brian Barbaro like you’re fighting makev next Brian like so yeah this is It’s a classic Brian barbarino’s biggest

Weakness is Mir sharts strength big strength right yeah I think that it it the danger is more on the mirart side like I I don’t see barbarena possessing the one punch knockout power that is going to be required to put meart down um we’ve seen meart when somebody

Doesn’t have that devastating power be able to weather a bit of a storm um the Dustin St Fitz fight uh who was the other one the Bruno Silva fight now Bruno Silva’s got power um but man meart looked good in that fight he did he looked good he get fought through some

Adversity and then just wash Silva um it’s to me it’s mirart I think it’s fight not to go the distance great parlay piece if you want to not have your money on mir’s chin I think at uh at minus 200 you could use that and uh
