Matters but it is the 50th player so that’s kind of cool there’s $4.5 million for first place Scotty sheffler won it last year anyone last week the last player to win the tournament one week and then successfully defend a title the next week was of course Tiger Woods who did that in 2007

So if Scotty wins it this week he will be in a some rare company okay so yes like I said Scotty won it last week but there’s also another player that won it last week that would be Bryce Garnett three players have won the week before the

Players and won the players that would be Raymond Floyd in 1981 Tom Kite 1989 and Tiger Woods in 2001 that’s it’s not going to happen Scotty’s not going to win like is he going to win also uh he’s in that afternoon tea time so that’s not good the top 10

Owgr uh I wrote down that four winners have come inside the top 10 over the last four years so if you’re not in the top 10 you cannot win there are nine names in this tournament that are in the top 10 because Rah isn’t here havin and Rory and Scotty wendam Xander

And Klay ludvig Harmon Ryan Harmon’s in the top 10 in the America in the owgr so he could win and then you got Max hom I don’t know good golfers win this tournament maybe uh since they changed it in 2019 to a harder oh no no was it

Like it was in May and now it’s in March and then the ball striking has increased by like 14% or something I saw so you got to be a ball Striker more than you did in uh when it was in may approach play is important Rec form is important

Better at picking lineups and making lineups that have a chance of winning by knowing nothing because knowing things will lead you to people that also know things and then you’re going to the same things as those people that think they know things or if you think thoughts and

Then you’re going to end up thinking those thoughts why do you think those thoughts you’re stupid you’re just a person the best advice that I uh we’ve ever given out on this podcast is that you have to have amnesia like Men In Black wand yourself

Little thing so I’m posting the scores on our fantasy golf pod Twitter page each week after the tournament’s over how many points did they score what was their ownership percentage top 50 scoring players you know majority of them from 50 to like the 10th to the 50th they’re scoring like relatively

Same the same amount points you’re getting like two or three guys that bubble up and that actually can make a difference in your lineup and most of those people are just random like nothing has like it’s not dictated based on like oh I mean Scotty last week was

Obvious so like certain times like you should just take Scotty and move on like maybe this week you should do that but I think outside of contest selection you don’t even it does not matter who you click odd four out of your six clicks can just be literally anyone in that 50

To 70 point scoring people and then you just need to find those two that score the most so like really like we’re trying to we’re going in and out of our like so this is just so stupid so like you’re considering all these random names when really it doesn’t none of

Those names actually matter like you you really just need to hit on the two or three names that do matter and then the rest of them in your lineup straight up don’t matter at all whatsoever which is crazy because that’s exactly why you should pick a 6K name because if it

Doesn’t [ __ ] matter then you might as well save the money on it and they’re maybe they’ll score 50 maybe the 9k guy will score 50 maybe the akk guy will score 50 they’re they’re probably going to score 50 you might as well save $2,000 scoring 50 does that make

Sense I also think that uh 20 Max any more than 20 max they’re probably a waste of your time and you have to like like why even play those play those with uh money that you’re just ready to put in a blender grind them up uh quis uh

What did you used to say oh no what did I say to you the reason why I’m kind of discouraged too is because like this is just a discouraging game we’re playing this DraftKings golf it’s [ __ ] dumb as hell because what happens is I’m like oh

We should play for high stakes so then when you win and you’ll win a lot of money but dude you never win so why would you play for high stakes in roulette like that seems stupid so then let’s play for low stakes is what we’ve been saying but what if you actually win

And then you you make sure you have that good lineup that you put in low stakes into a $5 blender because it w happens if you win you’ll be so pissed and the so then what are you doing you’re putting these $5 doll lineups into things you’re up to $100 every week so

Then by the time you actually hit one of these stupid five dollar lineups you’re basically breaking even at that point and then you’re excited about oh yay I won this $5 doll lineup thing and I broke even now and now I go tweeted and you tweet $5 doll win and everyone calls

You a poor piece of [ __ ] because well why didn’t you put that in the 25 you could have won $50,000 so then you feel stupid because a is only only $5 B you’re basically breaking even and C you’re getting made fun of on the internet for only playing for

$5 so what you do is you just play your favorite names right oh wait they’re shitty and then you hate them so then you don’t play them the next week you fade them you think that they’re broken you hate sunjay and then what do they do they finally do well which makes them

Hate makes you hate them even more because you didn’t use them in your lineup what a agonizing thing to do to your brain this DraftKings golf so why didn’t we just do that right now and talk about the ranges uh Scotty Sheffer is at the tippity tip top of the DraftKings

Pricing quietness actually clicked both last week I mean you could probably do that still this week Sheffer 128 Rory 116 combine them together you’re left with 6400 we can go down to the 5K range I’m told Stricker is a free Square where did he go he’s 70 5200 so you click in free

Square Stricker and then you got Aaron Ry everyone wants you guys 7,000 we’re back up I don’t know I don’t know if you should do that actually I think you need to figure out which way to go and to be honest with you last

Week I was like no way Rory wins no way he wants to win B Hill which you know I don’t know what’s in his brain but I maybe he doesn’t want to win beill maybe he wants to Peak for a major or Peak for the players but he’s already won the

Players too so maybe he doesn’t care this week Sheffer doesn’t care this week maybe you fade those top names you go lower I don’t know but at the same time I bet on Rory mroy because at 18 to1 I was presented with that opportunity to bet him at 18

To1 I mean he showed signs of life a little bit and his driver’s on fire so uh if I was gonna do anything I’d probably fade all of the things that are going against Rory or against sheffler the tea time draw that no one’s ever won

The Players back to back only tiger and two other people have won a tournament before players and then winning the Players uh lots of things going against sheffler his putter he found it so I don’t know maybe I’d choose Rory or I’d probably choose Xander and you know Xander’s only $300 less than

Rory and Xander’s kind of a fraud in a way now JT 106 he’s getting popular he’s gonna be the second most owned name it seems to me that everyone’s going Sheffer JT starts which bumps you to 6650 and then if you Stricker your savings there yeah I don’t like

It you know uh I bet JT last week I was following almost every single shot I watched every single shot of his Sunday round because he was on the featured group so I had the double screens going cleaning out the garage JT uh he did the
