Rory’s back nine so it’s like his 16th hole of the day he hits it in the water we’ve all seen it and there’s a there’s there’s fans or people there saying that there’s 100% certainty from them that it didn’t cross over the red line meaning it bounced on

The other side of it which would make his drop way farther back than he took and the problem is none of the players saw that and Rory certainly didn’t see it as far as we know Al there is is a fan or two that said no it didn’t cross

Was on the side slope so we’re guessing I’m guessing that the grass was a little firmer there whereas it wouldn’t collect as much water on a slant and so it’s firmer Ball’s going to bounce a little bit higher up on the a little bit higher up

It uh it bounced less longer Grass more moisture same result when it was lower closer to the water means absolutely nothing to us personally we could see it bounce from the camera on Golf Channel in all three uh throwing experiments there from Johnson so we could see it bounce every single time

How high would a ball bounce from it who knows right but entertaining nonethe least so what does Rory do what do you do in this situation well he took the drop where he took the drop and he ends up getting a double bogy on that hole

Whatever three gets a double bogey so double bogey I don’t think that’s the issue because worst case scenario regardless of where he’s going to drop it I’m going to assume he’s going to make double bogy anyways at at worst all right so he makes double there here’s where I think the issue really

Then Rory hits it in the water on his ninth hole the 18th the famous 18th hole hits in the water now it’s he hits it left so he takes a drop there that is probably on that particular hole a favorable drop he should have gone way farther back there but didn’t for

Whatever right so they’re probably not too happy with what happened they’re on but they’re like what whatever you know it’s close enough it let’s not make a mountain out of a mole heill here he he probably got a favorable favorable can I say it drop there and so that’s probably

In my opinion that’s probably bothering them a little because he only makes bogey there they probably thought he deserved a double on the his ninth or the 18th nonetheless then goes par birdie par birdie par birdie so they’re like oh my gosh this guy is still going crazy even after the

Water ball on the 18th old and he keeps just boat racing us then he hits it in the water on seven and they’re like all right we’re not letting him get away with this a second time let’s get involved because this is ridiculous the guy’s on fire there’s no stopping him we

Get a second opportunity let’s get involved that’s where I think this whole incident you know kind of erupted and blew up was the fact that there was something going on previously and there are reports that there was some weird Vibes after the 18th the playing of the 18th hole and

The drop he took there so now here it comes again and we took the real crime is the 8 minutes at least they took trying trying to deal with this situation on the seventh hole not the drop or where like there’s more crime there in the time versus the potential

One shot here or there I think what happened was he got a favorable drop on the 18th hole and a fair drop on the seventh hole and in total I think the players felt like hey he owes us at least least a shot maybe maybe not but

In my opinion all the time Jordan and Victor took talking about it that’s the shot he that they gave him the shot back with their time that’s how I look at it like at the end of the day it’s probably not a shot it’s a quarter of a shot in

Favor of Rory maroy this stuff happens all the time and and it happens when you’re marking your ball on the green you move it a little bit you’re a little let’s say loose in terms of where you put it is it a shot no it’s maybe a

116th of a shot potentially probably not but if you add all that up over the course of a round or a tournament the player himself is probably giving himself a quarter to a half shot advantage in a tournament over the course of four or five tournaments
