Chey what more can you tell us about this trade Hannah this is something that New England have been looking to do throughout the course of the past few weeks and they finally found a home in Jacksonville interestingly enough Mt Jones is from Jacksonville born in Jacksonville played High School football
In Jacksonville and now gets to go home to Jacksonville as New England turns the page on its quarterback situation and moves forward and now we see what the New England Patriots do with quarterback obviously the Jaguars have Trevor Lawrence who they will have their long term they’ll have mat Jones to back him
Up and I think the interesting sidelight to this is if you look back to that draft class now it’s an amazing to look at Trevor Lawrence goes one Zack Wilson goes two he could get traded this off season Trey Lance goes three he’s already been traded M Jones has been
Traded and Justin Fields could be traded so that decorated quarterback class from just a few years ago has been on the Move will continue to be on the move and the latest move involves mat Jones who now goes to back up a fellow quarterback for metch Dra glass and Trevor Lawrence

Potential franchise quarterbacks listen it’s a prime quarterback spot and New England knows that it needs to turn the page on its quarterback position and find a new guy to move forward with now I would think that they’ll be involved in free agency I would think that they’ll add a quarterback in free agency
Whether that’s jacobe brassette the former Patriots quarterback or Joe flacko or who whoever it may be but I would think that they’re going to go add a veteran and then ideally go add somebody high in the draft and there is your new quarterback tandem in whatever
Form it is in New England they have a new front office they have a new coaching staff and they’re going to have a new quarterback depth chart on the roster the question is how does it shake out but we do know now this morning that

Mac Jones is only a backup he just wasn't ready to lead
tbf the jags know lawrence takes too much hits and knows there will be moments every year lawrence is out for 2 weeks dyirng a week 12 game. bringing jones ensures when theyre franchise player is gone, they have a solid game manager to keep the ship strong whilst battling for a potential playoff spot. lets be real had lawrence played all year, jags were winning that division.
I mean patriots have a expectation of only getting Tom Brady’s that’s not going to happen

It is easy to say negative things about Mac and the other QBs in that class but how about the effort of their respective teams leadership putting those QBs in the best possible situation to be successful. SMDH!!

So, are the jags gonna trade trevor Lawrence then? I could see them doing that maybe for picks in this draft and future drafts. I think a team that needs a qb is the bears and so, trevor Lawrence is certainly a good qb, he was injured this year towards the end of the season. But, the bears should definitely make that move, to get trevor Lawrence and maybe trade justin fields to let's say the panthers, for picks.

Everyone seems to forget that when Tom Brady Played for the Patriots he had a great supporting team. But Mac jones didn’t have any of that. Did Mac Jones have great WR’s no. How about a great offensive line nothing. To be a great QB you need an offensive line that can protect you and sadly the patriots don’t have that anymore. They won’t find that perfect QB like they had in Tom Brady ever again. Great QB’s like Tom Brady are hard to come by these days. Mac Jones may not have been a great QB like Tom Brady was but he was definitely talented. The patriots just gave up on him too soon.
