  1. Hopefully this is a reoccurring theme throughout the year for Collingwood. It was apparent their mindset hasn’t progressed beyond 2023. Easily their worst performance for over two years. Collingwood’s unwillingness to work hard for the ball has made GWS look like the benchmark.

  2. Seriously cannot believe so many footy YouTubers and even some analysts had the Giants outside the top 4 for their ladders predictions.

  3. GWS will be real good contenders for the flag this year. I’m really excited to see what they can bring to the table.

  4. Collingwood players at times looked like they didn't even want to be there and put effort which was contrasted by the fact that every time there was a chance for GWS to win the ball, they took it and gave full effort. Very good wakeup call for the reigning premiers that if you switch off or dont put in the work, you won't make it to the better half of the season. Good win to start the season for GWS and boost their confidence.

  5. As a Collingwood supporter I said last year after beating GWS in the prelim, GWS should be flag favourites in 2024.
They play a really exciting brand of footy and nearly beat us in the prelim at the MCG.

  6. Massive pies man and gee GWS done us this game, coming into this one I didn’t think we’d get the dub but getting pumped like this is a slight shock lol… well done to them they dominated us everywhere and we looked to disorganised (as well as poor goal kicking) but I called it from end of last season, I reckon GWS gonna be top 4 this year for sureeeee

  7. WOW GWS killed them by 32 that’s amazing but if Collingwood won by 32 I’d be happy but here I’m a Port Adelaide Supporter
