The 1988 MK2 Golf GTi catched us at Wörthersee. James and the Auto Finesse Crew built the perfect combination of a beauty that is ready for the ride of your dreams! An 1.8T engine of a later Mk4 Golf GTI is placed in the engine bay together with full carbon decorations, upgraded turbo to the K03s model, a full 3″ turbo back Miltek System and 4-branch manifold. The result of this clean example are 380bhp and the pure fun on the roads from Klagenfurt to Velden.
The Golf got the perfect look with a Kamei X1 body kit, DTM mirrors, Voomeran carbon wrapped Cup spoiler with carbon-wrapped blade and black end plates. Airlift 3p performance struts and management, with pressure sensors are ready for a drive. The exterior is a in-house designed vinyl wrap that was fitted by IdentityWraps. Original E-Series Magnesium BBS E50 wheels are ready for action with face mounted 3-Piece magnesium splits, 8×16 in the front and 8,5×16 in the rear, covered with Nankang 195/45/R16.
Inside the Autofinesse MK2 are a set of Bride Low Max bucket seats, CAE gear shifter, Nardi wheel, aluminium pedal box, and flocked dash.
The 1.8-litre 20v turbo AGU unit has got a custom 3″ downpipe exhaust system and a Mk3 Golf TDI five-speed transmission.
