Uh realistic expectations for Rogers this season I it’s more likely it’s his last year than that he has more also those I know it’s small print but those AFC East ODS it’s depressing for Pats fans sorry Wilds um but that’s ludicrous the I so if you can’t see it it says

Buffalo plus 130 Miami plus 190 and the Jets right behind him at plus 290 give me a break this Jets team stinks they don’t have a good best I can tell coach I I don’t have a lot of reason to believe they have good front office and

Aaron Rogers last great game do you remember when we were talking about the Cowboys playing the Packers and Mike McCarthy and his opportunity that was Aaron Rogers last great game think about that was November of I’m sorry that was November of 22 his last really good

Season was when M Jones made the Pro Bowl oh hello and second MVP voting Brew was Tom Brady That season like I I I don’t buy the 40-year-old coming off the pop dilles is about to play an extended stretch and I don’t buy that the Jets are getting a great quarterback back

They are getting back a quarterback that once was great and has not been great in since 2021 and it will be the 2024 season like that’s I don’t think that’s controversial look I I I I talked myself into believing in Aaron roders last year now who knows how that would have went

Had he not gotten hurt but I it is hard to expect him to come in next year he’s now what two full seasons removed from playing great football and I do if he I think their defense obviously is good Garrett Wilson is good they you know they got some decent skill position fine

The defense is the most overrated defense no but it’s fine don’t let your Patriots no we got out there preseason like they got a great defense the great defense numbers they had no offensive help last year okay that’s fine I mean it’s a good I’m just saying if he was

80% of what he was in his last MVP year they could be okay I don’t think he’ll be there I think I’m more with Nick in that what’s realistic is that this is probably his last year he goes out he’s okay and they don’t make the playoffs

And then he hangs it up that’s what’s most realistic I think also I don’t while tell me if you agree I think it is totally fair to also have a more skeptical look at his last healthy season which was his last year in Green Bay now that we have seen the

Packers last year like the Packers last year had better quarterback play they were better on and I understand they’re young team so the guys there’s a lot of fact Rogers didn’t give those guys a chance and so the question I would have is what it is if he had popped his

Achilles post MVP then he’d be like hey we have no reason to believe is if it’s successful recovery that he can’t get back to that level we saw a full year of football from Aaron Rodgers on a team that we now know was good enough to

Compete at least a year later and he was not good he was fine he wasn’t bad in 2022 he was fine what is The Logical argument that that player is going to be better than he was the last time he was healthy I agree with that I I just don’t

I think narrative wise everyone wants to follow the Tom Brady story people have sold themselves on that the coach of the franchise that he was with kind of got tired of him sold him short but he had more on the tank and he can lead us to

The promised land but the truth might be more like Russell Wilson Super Bowl winning quarterback the coach kind of got tired of him he got tired there he went somewhere new and it didn’t work you’re right so I I think they the Jets want it to be the Tom Brady story but it

Might be the Russell Wilson story also the year Tom’s last year in New England they made the playoffs they won they won double digit games they now they lost disappointingly in the first round in Tennessee and then the first year without him they were below 500 for the

First time in 15 years and Tom won the Super Bowl Aaron last year in Green Bay they lost a home game in the final game of the year to miss the playoffs the team then without him got back to the playoffs won a playoff game made it as

Far as Aaron has made in the playoffs or won as many playoff games as Aaron’s made in a year in like five years and Aaron popped his ailles four plays into the season these stories are not the same the trajectories are not the same and the players historically have never

Been the same wild said to me today before the show he’s like I have a new impersonation the nerd voice but got Oh I thought that wasn’t you doing me you always said that um all right Wilds I’ll be you you be me uh would sign and say

Aan get Philly closer to the Super Bowl no okay yeah that’s a good one quiet very good no listen brw you I mean you watched Philly closely last year because people forget they were your pick to win the NFC and win the Super Bowl and the whole thing uh tin

Toes down and all of it at any point when you were watching their entire year fall apart were you like running back away like this is what they need well you’re right like look would signing saquan be a a good move if he’s healthy sure he’s fine running back’s not been

Their problem DeAndre Swift was good last year now saquin we know is a really high character guy would he M mesh with Jaylen yeah that probably be good but DeAndre swis statistically was better than saquin last year the year before that Miles Sanders were fine like

They’ve had a strong Run game so that’s not the problem they need to spend all that money on defense and then find somebody might not be a big name but can be effective for you out of the back field no that’s exactly right the money

Needs to be spent on the back seven of their defense all of their focus needs to be spent on their linebackers corners and safeties and by the way so like I know it’s not as big of a name but it’s a better player he’s a better player I

Should say you know Philly could be a game changer for them Justin Simmons the player Denver just cut now he’s not cheap but ho roseman’s good at making those things work that would be a position of De now but I also want to make is clear I don’t it just because

I’m down on contenders spending big on running backs I don’t except for chrish mcaffrey I don’t think saquin is you know unable to help anybody if I were Houston or Chicago L that would be or a Young quarterback Chicago is really smart yeah to me like give Caleb all the

Opportunities to do well or two teams that have well one team I guess that has a veteran quarterback and one team that might that I actually be like okay I think that might make sense Arizona or Minnesota I would at least call them Minnesota almost no matter what my

Quarterback if I draft a guy or resign Kirk I would at least consider it but Philly to me is supposed to be close but needs a ton of help on the other side of the ball I feel the same way about Dallas Dallas is close needs a lot of

Help and specific help on the other side of the ball so saquon would not be my target yeah I’m not I like Max I’m not sure the we’re not being malicious we play with ill intent and violent I get it go ahead your reac I love it you love

Yeah yeah I mean it’s a violent sport now you’re not trying to hurt I’m I’m sure he does not want to hurt Patrick Mahomes but you are trying to hit somebody whoever it is as hard as you can that’s called football and and every Defender I’m sure that’s their mentality

And if you if you that’s football that’s let’s pull back the curtain all right we want to make it all touch and seven on seven I don’t think anyone is arguing to make it touch football so he’s wrong for saying we come with violence ill intent

If you want to take that to say he means oh they want to hurt him he’s wrong for talking a mumbling word about a team that’s beat him eight of the last well I’m shocked the where’s the board I thought about that and I was

Like you know what I don’t even know if they deserve it oh no I don’t you think the only thing wor being on the board is not being Ben not being benath the board me listen the the Raiders since Max Crosby’s been in the league have beaten

The Chiefs two times the first time they did it it was such a big deal they took Victory laps around Arrowhead then they lost for four straight years and then the next time they did it it propelled the Chiefs to win a Super Bowl in their stadium and now Antonio Pierce is

Talking about having the momes rules and Max Crosby’s talking all this nonsense when this team amazing I mean for them that they’re only 12 to1 to win the division and by the way speak of insulting odds the Chiefs only being minus 250 to win the AFC West America if

You have a quarter of a million dollars sitting around you want to win a 100,000 there’s no better bet to make than that one right there but give me a break give me a break thanks for watching subscribe here to get more from the show and to

  1. We were just talking about the Packers the making playoffs and winning one without Rodgers. He didn't deserve the MVPs. NFL just padding him up so he'll make HOF. As for Crosby, I'm a fan but this "ill intent" is just wrong. You tackle to tackle with as little violence as possible.

  2. Kinda funny to think about all the people who might actually have a quarter million to play with watching just this YouTube clip

  3. Talk is cheap. Crosby better not be thinking about hurting mahomes on purpose. He should be concentrating on his own team than mahomes

  4. People really have to stop comparing QBs to Tom Brady lol The only dude that has EARNED that is Pat Mahomes. Tom proved to be the exception throughout his entire career in almost every possible way. Aaron Rodgers should be compared to players like Big Ben and Eli Manning. He was way more talented than them but as far as production goes. He is comparable to them more than Tom Brady.

  5. Of course that weasel doesn't understand why Maxx and Raiders would be gunning and aiming to take out the Chiefs smh. Can't explain mindset of a warrior to a weasel lol

  6. he had broken finger his last season with GB, he wasn't healthy. his last healthy season he won MVP wtf is nick talking about

  7. Eagles offense has run through the o-line being INSANE and its all time great guys, Barkley might be an upgrade but it probably wont be a slam dunk. The lose of Kelce will be felt more than the addition of Barkley, so I would expect them to go down even with better skill position play.
We never "This team is an X away" unless we say it about QBs. There's a level of player where, if they are good or above average, we give them a pass more than if it's a QB in that sense. One player can warp the way a team runs its plays, one awesome corner or safety might change the way the entire defense looks. You dont need to have the best or even good at everything, just make it work.

With ill intent is the same thing every defensive player says on camera but with different words "make them fear us".

Also, I have been seeing a lot of trends recently about trades, signings and drafting (both in the NBA and NFL); and it's driving me up the wall. Just because this guys have a lot of money doesnt mean they are good at giving contracts and evaluating talent. Some are, but it's astoundingly obvious who those guys are and who aren't. The line "do you think you know better than them?" implying that some of those guys who's only perk/talent is having money, somehow also are good front offices that just happen to fail at everything all the time.

  8. 5:15 yes Philly would get closer to the superbowl. That doesn’t mean they will be close to the superbowl. They will just be a bit closer to the Super Bowl after, than they are today. Not close. Just closer. They are a good O-coordinator and, guys on their defense that Fangio can work into his scheme, away from just being in playoff contention. As it stands presently, they probably shouldn’t be viewed as playoff contenders.

  9. I completely disagree with Nick about Rodgers and the Jets.
    1. I wouldnt say Saleh is a bad coach they have terrible QB play but the defense is good.
    2. Rodgers and Bradys' situations were similar except he ignored that brady had the best defense in the league, and thats how they made the playoffs. But offensively they both had bad talent. The difference is people like Brady so they made sure to point out how bad the receivers were his last year in NE. People dont like Rodgers, so he didn't get that excuse.

  10. The Eagles had a terrible OC and that bum is gone now. Saquan would be fun but I feel like he’d be too expensive.

  11. I’ve always been a Brady guy but I’m buying Aaron stock he’s had one down year and an injury! I think he will be right back in the MVP conversation next year and choke in the playoffs like usual!

  12. Rodger’s can have a Brady like comeback… a peyton manning in Denver season… a Kurt Warner in Arizona season. Don’t sleep on the Jets and I’m a Raiders fan 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

  13. Chargers fan here. The Raiders are straight clowns. Nick is actually right again believe it or not. The only team that has a chance to unseat the Chiefs in the AFC West is the Chargers. It's probably gonna be another season after this one though. Raiders are goofy for this and how they have better odds to win the division than the Broncos blows my mind

  14. I just don't understand how playing violin is really going to matter to a quarterback that won his second Super bowl while being injured on one leg. You guys cannot scare Mahomes. I think that the league still gets tricked by his personality and they think he's a pushover. He's not at all. He's one of the toughest quarterbacks that's ever played the game. If not, the toughest looks can be deceiving people

  15. The Rodgers commentary is understandable but I still think it's wrong. Rodgers was playing for McCarthy most of his career and he played pretty well in his last Green Bay years considering he had very young, very fresh players. Comparing him with Wilson is criminal. Wilson had good teams and a superb head coach in Carroll throughout his time in Seattle and he got exposed in Denver. Rodgers was, and I think still is, way better than that. That comparison might be Wildes' worst take.

  16. Yall lost yall.mind wit this AR bs talk yall doing. We won 7 games last yr wit ZACH WILSON. ZACH WILSON and we almost be KC wit ZACH WILSON. if he was KC QB yall have the top pic in the draft rn. Is AR mvp Rodgers, no but he's an upgrade over zach any upgrade at QB the floor for this team is playoffs. I guarantee tu a healthy AR we will be in AFC championship game.

  17. And yet we have to believe in your prince that was promised and Caleb Williams who never played a professional snap. Sit down, Nick

  18. Doesn't matter who you are, you get an injury like that at an age like that and you don't play as careless mentally, as you used to, it's just that simple. He's never gonna be the same.
