There’s been some debate on whether momes is now it or inching closer to Tom I read a yahoo sport story this morning and the headline is with Mah Mahomes versus Brady the NFL has its own Jordan versus LeBron debate and I completely disagree it’s not the same at all let’s
Start with Michael Jordan he has fans that have an intractable opinion it’s Perfection 6 for six Jordan had stuff that was important like mystique and style and Alpha and shoes and flare LeBron more finals more points More Everything wins the longevity bet but he doesn’t have as much style and there
Really is no Mystique we knew about him in high school Tom Brady though isn’t six for six he’s not MJ he lost three Super Bowls one to Nick Foles two to Eli Manning he didn’t have a lot of mistake we

This really is just media running out of things to talk about so they have to go for the âfirst takeâ style discourse. First off âGreatestâ and âBestâ are not the same thing. Greatness is how your career went and your final resume, in which case no one other than Jerry Rice is even close to Brady. âBestâ is much more subjective and what the media SHOULD be talking about with Brady v Mahomes, but that would require effort and actually watching the games and understanding football. The Greatest of All Time is not a debate, but the Best of All Time is still a really interesting one that no one wants to have for some reason.
No debate…Mahomes is way better.

LeBron James hasn't won more finals
Sure Bradyâs team lost to Nick Foles but Brady put up historic passing numbers in that superbowl it certainly wasnât his fault
If Jordan went to 10 NBA Finals, I doubt he would've won them all.
Brady is like Bill Russell. He was rarely seen as the best player, but always had the best/better teams and coach. Peyton was like Wilt. Peyton was always seen as the best player, but never had the best team. Having said that, even though we can see that Mahomes can do things that Brady cannot, we have to let it run it's course. Look at Brady, he went 10 years without a ring. That could happen to Mahomes. Never know.
MJ states it best different eras and different rules. Records are meant to be broken. The goat debate is fun but put Brady and Mahomes back in 60 and 70s with those rules where they didnât baby the QB and the hits were just nuts and the DB could beat on the WR more than five yards down field. Can you imagine Dan Marino with these rules of today Crazy

Mahomet isn't there yet, JUST because he hasn't played as long yet. When it's all done Pat will have Avery good chance of being considered better.
He didn't have mystique Lol teams feared him! Their leads were never safe. If you dig into the advanced stats for football Brady has the best seasons ever, the best 5 year stretch ever if you even just look at QBs peaks. Whether you look at DYAR, DVOA, PFF grade he has the best grade ever. He has the highest QBR season ever in 2007. And he did all of this after he won his first 3 Superbowls. He didn't get the weapons to put up the bigs stats until his 7th season starting. We see how important the line and weapons are for a QB to put up big stats like Mahomes did his first few seasons but look at his season this year. He lost some weapons over the years and this year he had a career low in passer rating. Brady had a handful of seasons where his coach/ GM took away his best WRs. 2006 Reche Caldwell was his only reliable WR. 2013 Ken tell Thompkins and Aaron Dobson. Even later Chris Hogan, Danny Amendola, Brandon Laffell. Gronk was great but he did only play 5 full seasons. Injuries to key weapons like Edelman or Gronk cost them a possible Superbowl in 2012 & 13 with those guys missing playoffs, 2017(Edelman missed entire season and would've been a difference in the Superbowl cause Brandin Cooks got knocked out of that game on the first drive). 2021 wr Chris Godwin having his best season with Brady and tears his knee late in the season, misses the playoffs along with Antonio Brown who quite mid game vs the Jets. If the Bucs have either one of those guys healthy in the playoffs they beat the Rams and beat the Bengals in that Superbowl. They almost beat the Rams without them. How do you let Cooper Kupp get wide open down the field like that!
Let's see what the next 5-10 years look like with him and the Chiefs.
Brady was carried by defenses for more than half of those rings. Mahomes has only had a great defense for the most recent one. Mahomes is easily better than Brady individually. Football is a team sport so the more rings argument is dumb.

Mahomes can't pass brady. As soon as he lost to brady in the postseason multiple times and lost to brady in the superbowl, the answer was sealed. If brady lost to Montana in the superbowl, we never would've called him the goat. Even after his 5th superbowl people didn't want to say he was the goat. Brady is the goat. Mahoems will go down as 2nd. Mahomes would have to get a 3peat and win on another team to even make it close

It's idiotic to have this debate in the first place with Mahomes and Brady. If Mahomes stopped playing today, does his resume hold up against Brady's? Obviously not.
You can say Mahomes has the potential and is on pace to surpass Brady for sure, but it's not even a question that he's not there yet. There are 5 other QBs who have gotten 3 rings like Mahomes. Nobody has gotten to 7 rings like Brady. Not even a single franchise has 7 rings.
That is unparalleled greatness.
