Vancouver so if there’s ever a comfortable place for Mary to go it might be New Jersey based on the relationship with the coach again what is the organization thinking that’s the biggest thing there might be you know a thought process to keep Marky because maybe those deals are there this
Summer so I don’t know yeah you the organization still has to get a return for an asset it’s great to be nice to a guy and say he wants to go to Jersey but if you want out I said it yesterday wave your no trade like if you’re upset that
You haven’t you can’t get out you can wave your no trade they can move you yeah they can move you but then you know are you trying to do the teras senko and go you know move me there and get the best deal from them and then maybe the
The organization saying well we might have a better deal and I’m just again I’m not trying to start some we might have a better deal in La we might have a better deal in Carolina in Colorado you know in Toronto you name it I don’t know the teams that I I’ve always mentioned
That might look for upgrades right so I’m sure Craig Conroy doesn’t want to pigeon hole himself and go okay well okay if we’ve asked you to wave there’s a deal you know that organization likes me likes him from New Jersey but there might be three other teams behind the
Scenes going you know we got our hand up here too and we you know let us know what the deal is because we might be able to to beat that so I think that’s the the noise that we probably aren’t privy to behind the scenes is that as
Always we can have our opinion but we don’t know the facts from behind the curtain so that’s what I’d love to be privy to be what’s going on behind the curtain and what really is the offers from other teams not just New Jersey yeah meanwhile Jersey eight points out
They three wins in their last 10 um it sure feels like the most likely outcome is revisiting this ahead of the draft in June when contracts roll off the books guys get more cap space Etc now you sort of talked about player stick handling like how Noah hannahan does not have a
No move but he sure does feel like he thinks he does here the way the rumors are coming out from his Camp well the only thing I would argue with with Noah Hanahan having some Leverage is if you want to get more maybe there’s an extension in place right so that’s the
Theory right yeah in theory it’s like okay you want to go to Team X name a team and you’re gonna get him as a rental or you gonna get him as a rental with an extension so there’s a sweetener on top of that or you you know you sign
And trade however however that’s going to work but I I think that’s where some Leverage is if hannahan goes you know trade me but you might be able to get more for me if you trade me to that team because I want to sign there long term
So that would be my only leverage point for hannahan other than that you can trade him to Arizona tomorrow and sure see you later and Arizona gives you XX for that what that player but if it’s calculated and you want more in a package then you know it’s just trade
And sign sign and trade however you work it and the player goes there long term and you move on and you get assets for him and you continue to retool rebuild however you want to uh phrase it here for Calgary so the fear in the fan base
Is that Tampa doesn’t have a lot of assets that might be one of the barest cupboards for prospects and they don’t have a first till 2026 we sort of joked about it with the zadorov trade they got a 20 26 30 it’s like that’s a 15-year-old you just got back like
