Erik van Rooyen shoots a final round 63 at the Cognizant Classic finishing his round before play was called for the day with a Monday finish in store at a wet PGA National.
Uh beautiful you know um it’s really funny because I feel like I left a ton out there yesterday and I was slightly crabby and fely my caddy tells me bro you don’t know what’s going to happen you might Birdie the first seven tomorrow and we almost did that so um
Yeah really happy with how I played yeah it’s hard um the greens were so much slower coming back um there’s so many little adjustments you need to make I mean that that shot I just hit on 18 from the left of the green there was so weight um but
I want to call myself a pro golfer I need to be able to adapt to that so um I’m really really pleased with with today’s round um I certainly don’t think if I don’t end up winning this tournament I certainly don’t think it’s because of today or the rain delay today
So um I’m going to take all the positives I can yeah got I’ve got no expectations um if I’m within two and those boys are walking up to 15th tea box I’ll be here you’re supposed to be at semal I am supposed to be at seminal
So I’ve got a phone call to make um I’m not quite sure how I’m going to handle that yet but um honestly we’ll see
