Was a great game and Southampton looked really good. It was never a red,that should be looked at as it spoiled the game and killed us off. Possibly even got us relegated (ignoring wayne rooneys time). We played some great football too and looked dangerous. Everyone else is winning down the bottom. We gotta finish strong as we have wasted most of the season now.
Southampton deserved it. Criminal defending. Cannot be playing like that. It's good we can score but means nothing if we defend that badly. Sanderson and ruddy are awful. Dont care what people say, we are in real danger.

Not a red card, terrible refereeing. That being said Southamptons goals were all avoidable so defensive and keeping concerns. We loomed good going forward and putting them away as a positive. Must tighten up at the back though.

Southampton and Leicester are by far the best teams that have played down the blues this season which is hard enough so you don’t need shocking linesman work for the missed offside for Southampton equaliser and then a red card for a yellow card offence at best. Great game to watch, red card was a bit harsh, studs were obviously high and could have been dangerous but it wasn't intentional, was probably a yellow. Well done Birmingham good luck for the rest of the season.

Strange how the challenge Smallbone did on Bacuna was exactly the same as Sanderson did on Smallbone and Smallbone only got a yellow card. Less than 15mins between the two fouls and both identical except Smallbone actually meant to hurt Bacuna, you can tell by the look on his face. The sooner VAR is in the championship the better. One team fighting for promotion got a yellow, one team fighting for survival gets a red. I wonder which team the referee follows?
