The right side and he didn’t produce now he does a lot of things that make you think okay he’s a good player decent player but then he doesn’t finish I mean we’re talking about a guy who’s got 15 points this season and he’s played on the second line most of the year and
Then you see a mistake like we saw a couple nights ago in in Winnipeg where he needs to get the puck deep and didn’t so to me I don’t see how he has a future with the blues his contract ends this year if he’s not picked up by somebody
Which I wouldn’t anticipate I would just think he’d kind of drift into the sunset this off season Jr do any of the Blues young players and this includes Jake neighbors but will include snuggerud will include d’Or uh anybody that’s in their system do they project as a superstar I think
Aside from Robert Thomas and this is all due respect Tob navic and kyou and even Colton pero but the blues are missing star power right now can one of these young players that’s on the horizon provide star power or are the blues going to have to go and find that guy

And he has been an above average hitter over the last two years and he can play a good Outfield I think that it’s very reasonable to expect maybe 20 plus home runs for him which he’s been at that 14 Mark the past two years I think he’s got
To stay healthy like Randy said he only played 108 games um last year but he crushes right-handed pitching so right handed pitching hit 271 381 on base percentage 454 slow that’s 30% above the league average against right-handed pitching and nearly 70% of the guys that throw in the league
Are right-handed so he plays a very important role for the Cardinals in their lineup this season he in working with Mark Maguire talked about being grounded and and Mar Mack has always said that when we talk to him about hitting and he’s very simple but very logical about hitting he say the ground
Is your friend and in a story that John Denton wrote at mlb.com he talked about how he had these grounded shoes some shoes that uh help you feel grounded and he said when he came in he changed because he didn’t mark want Mark Maguire to think he was crazy and then Maguire
Talked about the grounded shoes and how the ground is your friend and Newar bought in and I’m with you guys can I interrupt for a sec what do you mean grounded shoes the oh I guess they’re heavier and so your your feet it’s an honest question yeah yeah you you it
Prevents you from from having Happy Feet one thing if you watch Maguire highlights he had the short stride right and then he just let it rip and watch a guy like ronado I think that’s one of the things Nolan was working on because his feet are so active and McGuire says
You want to keep your feet on the ground that’s where you generate power is through your legs and and through the ground so that’s something that Nar is working on his on base has improved every year that he’s played now last year his slug took a dip and I think the
Injuries probably played a role in that but if he buys in and damn we watch this when Maguire was the Cardinal hitting coach if he buys in he’s a guy that I think could hit 20 home runs and and 30 doubles he could be a 50 extra base hit
Guy yeah slugging percentage as you mentioned went down but I I just think bottom line is he’s got to stay on the field he’s going to get every chance to play in left field he’s going to play every day he’s going to play against left-handed pitching more than likely
But man you got to stay on the field that that is the number one thing and if he does that and let’s say he plays in 145 150 games there’s no reason to think that he won’t put up really good numbers he become a super do you think it’s out
