Of anything about long drive and then heard about this American golf stuff that they doing like indoor Regional qualifiers yeah so I just went there with my normal playing driver won the regional qualifier went over to like a local qualifier to qualify for a world championship and I won that got speaking

To one of the lads that was running the event and he competed on tour called European long drive tour back in the day and uh got talking to him went out to Denmark two weeks later I didn’t have a clue what I was doing yeah and I

Finished fourth in my first event and then just the bug carried on from there and it’s just it’s it’s unbelievable it’s not like golf it’s loud it’s po around in everyone like adrenaline you hit a good ball you scream at the top of your lungs everyone’s getting drunk

Behind you and the music’s blaring it’s good fun yeah it’s proper growing as well isn’t it because OB Bryson he’s you know he gets involved and stuff like that but how big is the long drive competition becoming it’s getting bigger um just before Co it was a lot bigger

Than it is now obviously Co took a massive hit on the sport because it’s not massively endorsed by sponsorship but it’s slowly coming back to where it used to be so hopefully in the next couple years it get a bit bigger but like every event I go to I say it to my

Mat and my M say say I hate it but I love it at the same time and how does it work is it with competition is always the same do you get a certain amount of balls yeah so how does it work some format of difference you might do a point system

So but majority of the time is we’ll have two or three rounds of seeding in this in the morning you’ll get six balls in 2 minutes 30 seconds and you only need one ball in play wow yeah so you can I you get different tactics you can

Either knock one down there to fill a grid to start and then go for it or just go for a shootout and go as fast as you can and try and get one out of out of six in yeah so everyone has different tactics that’s amazing and you’ve also
