It sucks when we’re a little bit handcuffed I know some of you guys brought up some great thoughts throughout the chat like we could have talked about other stuff the course the weather we’re just more so worried if we do that and then pricing is an hour away

It’s like then we’re out in out in we don’t want to do that for you guys so I got my guy here hoopster with me as always do want to talk a little on that in a second obviously our guy degenerate 75 James would usually be here with me

Not sure if you guys saw over the weekend or not if you didn’t he did post out a tweet dealing with some health issues we’ve told him to take all the time that he needs he has full support of the community the nation everybody is behind him across the entire space shout

Out to our guy James when we know more when he wants to talk about it more it’ll be out there but for right now we’re going to support in any way we can hoop and I are going to fill in on this show we’ve got other shows that we’re

Going to be filling in on getting you guys all the content that you need he always says like you know for for one James has helped thousands of people in the time since he’s joined this space a very special dude one of a kind there’s

No way to outdo that or be what he is but we’ll try our best to fill the big shoes for the big guy he was worried about letting people down we told him absolutely not not letting anybody down he’s helped so many right now he just

Before we get into it yeah um you know obviously I definitely cannot replicate what what James does in in the PGA streets in terms of the content the video content he does a a phenomenal phenomenal job and he he’s really made huge leaps in this industry in a short

Period of time a lot of people uh have his back and support him and you can see that with the overwhelming uh support within the Degen Community the shiping nation Community Twitter in general so many people jumping in we wish him you know full health as quickly as possible

So Tambo and myself obviously we’ll do whatever we can uh to make sure that um you know we’re we’re filling trying to to fill uh the void on any any sort of content but he has our full support and I’ll be here doing this show and like you said we’re going to switch

Up the schedule just a little bit uh to make sure that no one is missing out on any sort of content but you know priority number one is James and his health and you got the Tweet up here so we can kind of talk through that yeah

People might think the other way but either way we’re here to talk I’ve got the pricing up they did similar to last week Rory they added 200 bucks so Rory is seven to one in most places goes right down we won’t get there but because the chat spoiled it Mack meiser

By the way DraftKings just slammed it on the back end if you guys saw Rob Bolton that was the last that was the VIN swy for Mac Meisner and they just slamed him at the bottom make him 5K boom it’s done get that pricing out Tambo ho Tambo push

The tampo push yeah they know that we need the pricing when we need it for you guys so you can see what they did there with that but you can talk about it again how how it handled I didn’t even see um what the final optimal lineup was

For last week maybe I can pull it up here while you talk about it but how did that the pricing treat you hoop or what was your thoughts on sort of that new pricing setup there from last week yeah I mean honestly it looks pretty similar

I mean you got the 12K guy up top and then we’re going to go all the way down to 5K and then the only difference this week is the names in between are a hell of a lot better than the names in between last week um you got Rory at the top at

122 um oh you already found it yeah so yeah so 5 seven guy in in CT pan uh so yeah you get what 9857 yeah yeah mean a lot of different so that was only 474 so left a ton of money on the table obviously the the

Optimal so I’m sure a lot of people have builds like this but they probably had Tony feno over you know one of those guys I think the math might work out pretty closely in regards to that but yeah I mean it’s pretty similar pricing structure you got the 5K you got the the

Top price around 122 and Rory and again like I said the only difference is going to be the names in the middle are going to be a hell of a lot better than they were last week so I like the 5K range we talked about it in length uh last show I

Think this this format should remain in place like tempt us to play these guys a little bit more like David lipsky like that was exciting to see him shoot like what seven under the first day then his ass shot like six over or whatever it

Was the next day like I want that sort of volatility like get us to play those guys at the bottom and that’s what the 5K range does and you know without you know looking deeply into it because I know it’s against the rules of the show guessing there’s some guys down there

That will be able to to play a little bit so yeah we can uh go through and uh you know talk through it there yeah real quick you didn’t even notice your guy but Ren hash shepit his boy EVR finally made an optimal so there’s that’s nice

9500 he got in there he told us last week that stud at the $9,500 range which was exactly EVR he got into the optimal but just of note if you just swapped it out here you would have got too and probably still been fine on the score so

Talking about it in sort of the the setup because the way the pricing is but talk through this hoop even just do 10K and up first we got Tom Kim up to Rory mroy what are you doing in this upper range first thoughts yeah uh tough range

To be honest with you I mean Rory kind of similar to F now last week where you know kind of stood stood out six and a half Rory six and a half to one F now is kind of in that same price range um in terms of odds to win and then they’re

Both ra on 12K same situation I mean he’s clearly the best in this field hasn’t been playing all that well which is similar to too had the 24th at the Genesis a bad round one then kind of wred the ship after you know he’s the

You know the main guy in this field um and then the next guys you def definitely don’t feel comfortable with I mean cam young at 107 has turned his game around a little bit he’d definitely be my my second favorite in this range but paying like 10-6 for Fitzpatrick

10-2 for for Henley I don’t know if I necessarily feel great about that I mean I think the course might fit Henley pretty decent but man and then Tom Kim at uh at 101 I mean it goes off I mean the one the two that have the the high

Upside here are definitely Rory and then you can save $1,500 and go down to to cam young who’s been playing much better um but man Fitzpatrick Henley up here I don’t know if I can get there Tom Kim at 101 I think there’s some moderate interest so it’s tough again this just

Reminds me a lot of last week in terms of the decisions but the names are just a little sexier than last week and I think you’re going to be able to get different going up into this range I mean Rory f fine he’s going to get

Ownership no matter what we saw how easy it is to fit a 12K guy and whatever you know that’s fine but just looking at it like cam young eth and 16th in the last two Henley 24th some decent history but if you go beyond that when we get to the

9k range which we’re not there yet but Cole hoston sunjay Benny Anne like all those guys are going to be the ones I can tell you right now early on that are going to Garner the ownership so you’re going to be able to get probably at

Least some of these like Tom Kim and Henley have to be overlooked completely I think people always like a little bit of Cam young and Fitzpatrick they’ll get to Rory just because they can in the seven to one odds to win but that would be my early thoughts I think you’re

Going to see Henley and Fitzpatrick or sorry Henley and Kim really low owned here versus Fitzpatrick Rory and if people are going to it cam young but I do think this next 9k range is going to be where a lot of people like to start uh Nick did mention last year when Cole

Was in the mix here he was like 6K range now he’s up to 99,900 but yeah look look what he’s done right over the swing season all that stuff so give me your thoughts on this 9k range hoop here we’ve got uh Keith Mitchell right up to

Eric Cole they all fit perfectly right on the screen yeah it’s a much more exciting appealing uh pricing range here um you know you get a little bit of a break from Fitz Patrick at at 106 down to guys like Eric Cole post and you get

A pretty substantial uh price break so I am interested in these guys Cole a guy that we’ve been playing a lot of poston’s a guy that we’ve been playing a lot of the price tags again a lot you’re going to get stick shock on a lot of these guys because it’s more expensive

Than we’ve typically paid for them but in this field like I think the prices are Justified Cole Poston I think are phenomenal play sunjay at the 97 I think I got to see something out of them man I mean I know this was your boy last year

But the results have just not been good and he just he hasn’t been good um minwu Lee benan Chris Kirk Lowry Burger Connors uh Keith Mitchell I just prefer a lot of these guys more than the guys above them like the fitzpatricks and the Henley like I think you could I just

Don’t think there’s a $1,200 difference between uh I’ll use let’s use Lowry as example like why is Matthew Fitzpatrick $1,300 more expensive than Shane Lowry like I just don’t see the justification behind that I think a guy like Fitzpatrick will definitely get a little overlooked for that reason hasn’t played

Great and now he’s the third most expensive guy in the Slate so I think this 9k range is going to end up being a pretty popular range to be honest with you just looking at the names and then I kind of glanc down to the 8K range and

These names are just so much more appealing than the 8K range so I think this range is where you see a lot of ownership coming from because you can just make a without digging into anything what you know this is First Look obviously we haven’t dug into

Anything you can just make a case for a lot of these guys recent form and things like that Poston um Cole uh Benny on Chris K Lowry Keith Mitchell played well last week Conor’s had a good week not too long ago Burger looked pretty good

His last time out so it’s just easy just to off the top of your head make a case for these guys and you’re not paying the big time premium so I do think we see a lot of ownership uh in this 9k range when it’s all said and done uh going

Into Thursday yeah I agree fully with you and when you get into it just looking to build like even if you put two of them you still have almost $700 remaining I think these two could be popular Cole will be popular as well people like a little bit of M I guess we

Look at this this is like the course history range to Chris Kirk winner here last year 7eventh and 25th the years before Shane Lowry fifth second last couple years uh Daniel Berger I know he’s coming off you know back off of injury whatever and just started back

Recently but he’s at Fourth here the last couple times that he’s played It Keith Mitchell ninth here in a winner here back in the day ninth last year in the winter before uh Cole second last year but then you look at the recent form stuff posting 5ifth 6th 11th 20th

10th with a Mis cut not great here but playing better one thing I will say just from my notes looking this morning and just long term yes the same guys do show up in some cases but I will say it’s really not a course to get right on like

There’s just a lot going on I’ve been here I know people were talking in our Discord they don’t like the course they were talking about playing it too but I I actually like this course myself I went down when sunjay won that year and I thought it was an awesome course I

Always wanted to see a better field on this course it’s not it’s not amazing but it’s not bad and it’s going to get better I would like to see a event here at some point but apparently people say it’s also the golfers that don’t like this course and so that’s why you’re not

Going to see them want to show up here and that could be the case so Jack says he loves it I do love it from a uh viewer standpoint at home on the couch or there live and I also think it makes for good golf down the stretch it’s risk

First reward that last shot on 18 is always incredible coming in up over with the water on the right and everything we saw you know uh what was it the year was it straa two years ago that was the year that Lowry hit it into the wind died and

Then straa got like the perfect no wind no nothing t- shot yeah and didn’t Burger Kind of fall apart was was Burger In Contention there right I believe is that the event I’m thinking of because I had man that I have bad memories I had two live final seeds locked up and the

Had Burger and I think he hit in the water or something and I immediately lost both it was like a it was a a two live final seed and like a 50 to $60,000 swing by whatever his ass did on that last hole so I bad memories here but

That’s probably why guys don’t play here the water right I mean these guys don’t NE I mean there it’s more variance when you get on these courses with with a lot of water and I think a lot of these guys are are afraid of it so that’s probably

Why they don’t like playing here I’m with Brian give me all the water in the train wreck I like that you know this is awesome about it so uh Delbert asks about you know James talking about not leaving too much money on the table we

Do talk a lot of process over at shipet Nation here on these shows everything usually less than 800 that that’s me I don’t leave very much money at all unless it’s showdown or something where it’s like okay we’re playing a wave there could be only two guys at the

Upper range that I even want so I’ll definitely leave couple thousand on the table no problem in Showdown but for main slates typically my my salar is mostly filled out what about you hoop yeah same I mean I again I I typically fill out most of it I mean if if I’m

Playing the the 150 I think you always want to leave some on the table but I’m not actively going out trying to leave like $1,200 uh on the table like if it happens it happens can you win by leaving salary on the table uh absolutely it’s sport to sport it is

Slate to slate I’d say like last week I would have felt like way more comfortable leaving a good chunks of money on the table because of the the the field I mean it was just a weak field who the hell knew what was going to happen a lot of variant like in

Weaker field PGA events I think you can get away with leaving more money on the table but it’s not something I’m like actively looking to do leave like thousands on the table so I think people see like the optimal lineup from last week what was it like

$2600 that was left on the tail like oh man like I’m going to do that this week like you’re just giving up so much and potential win Equity by going that route but again if you were going to do something like that for me it would be

In those weaker field events where the variance is very very high yes I agree and that’s definitely something you could do all the time in those events it’s like if one guy doesn’t come through putting contest and Tony doesn’t come through he didn’t at 12K then I

Mean he did all right considering he did almost nothing but just to say he wasn’t needed or anything then that’s where you could see that happen you see where EVR beats him and that was pretty clear from the start that it could happen with somebody I won’t give EVR the credit but

Others could beat Tony and that’s the money that you need to leave on the table as far as burger goes I think it’ll be a leverage play I don’t see anybody getting excited to get to Burger here at $9,200 even with the fourth places here the last couple times he’s played it but

At phoeni look he came back had to get some [ __ ] right had a bad round then you go here and it’s like I guess even before that it was better but then you know not so great at the farmers but go back here I mean 66 69 69 and then a 72

In the middle not the worst so if you want to go to him I don’t have a problem with I think tournament wise you’re going to have definitely a lot more people in on somebody like Lowry right here Connor’s by the way too a bunch of

Top 30 35s lately he just needs to snap out of it a little bit but and I think you’ll see him squeezed as well because Lowry and Mitchell would be the ones that likely pick up the ownership here Benny post and Cole and then your secondaries would be like sunjay and

Kirk that leaves the rest like minwoo could go overlooked as well so definitely another thing to keep in mind when you get into this 9k range let’s go down to the eight soup and I see hogi there cheated a little bit he’s at 79 but let’s go eight fits

Perfectly again DraftKings man that’s what they were doing they were focusing on getting it to fit each range exactly within the pitch so that you could show it off for the people but right here we’ve got Justin Rose at 8,000 all the way up to Denny McCarthy at 8900 what

Are you thinking about this range yeah so I mean again just I think there’s a pretty big drop off in terms of talent when you come here versus the 9k range and I’m not saying these guys are going to be like low owned by any means but

You’re just going to get overall much lower ownership in this range than the 9k range um you know name that’s very interesting to see what people do is going to be pavon for sure I mean that would be the main talking point for me in this range I mean how well he has

Played followed up that win with a third place finish at the the Pebble Beach and he had been playing well prior to that like what do people do with him this week I think is a big talking point sep straa has the course history here people

Going to buy into that 8600 is a you know relatively big price tag for sep straa who has missed two of his last three cuts are people just blindly going to buy into the course history um yeah probably they they probably will Got Jake knap coming off the win at a course

That probably doesn’t fit him as well as last week like what do people do there Luke list has been playing pretty well uh Justin Rose seems like a pretty solid spot for him I don’t know this range I think is is pretty interesting people like to play Denny McCarthy McCarthy

He’s always a guy that people like because of the putting um but for me I already can tell you without diving deep into this I’m going to have much more exposure to the 9k range than the 8K range like I can get off a lot of these

Guys I could potentially get off sep straa who I know people are going to play because of the course history got another guy like you know Bo hustler in here who’s been playing pretty well at 83 you know the nice thing about his price a right there the average roster

Spot on DraftKings basically the same 8,300 noren a guy again that I could get off if he if he does get popular I mean you know he’s like a top 25 guy at best like I I just don’t see him coming out and winning this event so for me much

Prefer the 9k range there are some guys that going to be on here I’ve been playing pavon so he’s the one that stands out I I’ll definitely I can tell you that for sure I’ll be staying right on him at 8700 just playing really really well yeah and he squeezed too you know

Everybody’s favorite including mine Stephen Jagger right there talked about you know not a spot to get right he’s playing right already he makes Cuts whatever he’s going to get super popular I get it Denny makes cuts too though like I I just wanted to look back to see

Like the other spot here Denny McCarthy similar to the guy I just talked about above him in Cory Connors so just going back to Connors for a second Connors 24 28 31st 33rd like just needs it to break his way a little bit more to pay it off Denny McCarthy even

Cheaper than him and he’s 22nd 26 24th 39 like again making Cuts but where’s the ceiling and this is going to be I don’t disagree you know recent form history I think Jagger was 14th here last year but other than that he hasn’t actually been great here A bunch of

Water I don’t know like I I’m with you matu pavon he makes sense he’s in between Jagger and straa someone said the good hogard we we played his brother Nikolai last week it did not work out over the weekend his brother Nikolai won the DP World Tour Championship where

Rasmus his brother came 11th uh but Rasmus has been playing some good golf like if you go look here he he came second 8 six there’s other events that aren’t even updated in here on draftking so he’s been playing really good golf I actually could get to him at 87 or sorry at

8500 uh somebody asked I think it was Nick who who said this I know my guy Kenny Kim who won’t be on the fantasy golf degenerates tonight with me by the way he’s he’s out for this one it’s gonna be Ryan barov coming back that

This is his home course as well so we’ll have a lot to talk about more when we get there but it’s said dap WD at dude is going to be hung over for a week he was in the Anaheim Mighty Ducks jersey or Ducks now I guess and and taking the

Brandon woo Harry Hall made his way up the board uh some of the other Carson young was okay I think CT pan was 24th he was one of the best guys in the 5K range that were on here so lipsky had a great first day and then disappeared off

On him like I I was on him in a big way last week he’s my most popular guy in the 6K range didn’t find the right combination with him um but I think this guy’s pretty damn good Johnny Vegas Bobby Mack Lee Hodes I believe has good

Course history here he’s coming off a 24th Place finish um there are a lot of guys in this range so I think um you know what does this do for roster construction when you can make the case for a and this isn’t like digging to

Make a case for 6K guys like you can just naturally make a case for a lot of these guys down here here they’re playing well the course could potentially fit them well so what does this do um you know probably brings up Rory’s ownership a little bit probably

Brings the ownership up a lot of those guys in the 9k range that we’re gonna like so it makes roster construction much much easier when you can make a case for a lot of cheap guys and this is just the upper part of the 6K range there’s seven or eight guys that people

Are just gonna look at and say man I can play these guys and they’re going to put them in their player pool which means they’re going to be able to roster the more expensive guys in this field so um very strong range I’d say overall which

DraftKings pricing to say ah you’re the same as your brother again at this course which he missed the cut on last year but he saw it right he came out he gets to see the course get the feel for it so maybe he is the guy at 50 5100

About right there where you can kind of one you can key in pretty quickly and find out who those guys are going to be that are going to be popular within their range you typically have plenty of options around them that you can move to and then like I mentioned in certain

Scenarios where people are stuck in the middle whether it’s between course history recent form that they’re battling or just other guys within the same range you’re kind of see them where you’re getting that what I always say is kept in check right you see someone’s ownership stay at 13 14 when you thought

It would get to 20 or something like 10 to 12 when you thought it would get to 15 plus so you are able to still get leverage on the guys you want to get J but to your point I think what that means is you can spread it out a good

Advise uh strongly against it but you know if it pays off it obviously pays off I mean the week I won the uh Millie in the NFL there’s a guy that played the same team I think 28 times and it was a one V one versus what I had um he was

Winning first through 28 before I surpassed him he was winning like two million he’s winning BAS basically the entire prize pool for that event so I mean obviously if it hits you’re hitting super hard but I mean it’s yeah nothing that I’d be doing but good for him do do

You want to get it banned do you want to petition to get the train banned because what what if that week he wins and you would have been the Millie maker winner but you come in 150 first place instead no no even even if yeah no I think if

Second third fifth seventh 10th you still win a bunch of money but you had almost all the outs to the top because you had so many onv ons and Alternatives where you might just find that Spike play and if it’s you’re running a lineup like that you think it’s the optimal

Basically you’re saying this is the optimal it’s going to win so you if you think four or five of those are optimal plays I’d want to spread the other pieces around them I know everyone’s going to say you’re you’re talking bad about a guy that turned 3K into 54

That’s fine uh it happens that’s good for him and I’m I’m happy for him I’m saying more from process standpoint and thinking about it even if you wanted to follow the model of you know a play lighter play tighter or if you just want to play high risk High reward I would

Other ways to get to the top if it doesn’t fully work out on that lineup where again he came 10th for 54k but I think we did the math later in the Discord if he had a one it would have been what was it 150 just for first would have been over

250k for everything but again you’re hoping you just find that one winner and you almost double your money from 54k to 100K because you would had more outs to the top so yeah I’m fine with it it’s definitely a great return for what they got but I think we only talk about

Trains when it comes down to uh when it comes down to them actually hitting speaking of trains Tom Kim Thomas the Train he’s here Choo Chu it could be Tom Kim week if nobody’s on it maybe maybe that’s the guy that we want to find here
