Playing time Bobby he nailed a team High 20 points on nine of 15 shooting he was about that good maybe a little better against Wisconsin I think nine of 9 of 12 he only took three shots at Michigan State but guarded their best scorers all night long uh he he has really evolved
Into uh a lot of things not just uh not just one with a single strength yeah he always been a complete player Gary and he is completely healthy now and a valuable ball handler in the back court to take some pressure off of of Tony

The first game at Penn State about a month ago uh how do how does this group uh come together as a cohesive unit tonight to turn the result around in the rematch well the goal is to get to the NCA tournament Gary and I I think to a
Man all all the hawkey realize that that’s what we want to do here in these final three games plus the Big 10 tournament so you got an opportunity you know this a huge game here tonight can’t let this one get away but you got to come out with that defensive mindset

Will tell you it was all because of him had nothing to do with the Nortons coach coach Norton yeah and then Regis man they were a juggernaut in Eastern Iowa for a lot of years and obviously Dowling was uh quite the outfit then who was your coach coach John Lebon John Lebon
John Labon was the coach came from Council Bluff St Albert and took over the program be my junior year and I was a center at that time and uh made me an outside player a guard but you’re not going to go to college at the center

Done a good job this second part of the season I think he was trying to figure it out cuz the way we’re playing offense is a little bit different um than he has the last couple years I think he’s found his Groove and hopefully he’s got that
Tonight wahab has always intrigued me uh you know it doesn’t look like he’s moving much out there and then you look up he’s got 12 points and nine rebounds he always finds a way to get around that double double uh the man loves the score uh he is super efficient right he makes
Shots uh he’s a little bit unorthodox in the way he does it um but he’s been really effective for us and he’s also most importantly been a good defensive presence down low how about the Hawks the second time around heck of a game out at State College the knitting lions
Got it done especially defensively and got to the foul line the last 5 six minutes yeah we were very aggressive I like the pace I like the way we played defensively um you know coach talked about that to the team before of like well you want to try to do what you did
At home but do it better cuz they’re going to do what they do at home better I mean they’re very Dynamic at home they get out and transition um they’re a little bit more aggressive at times defensively I think they’ve been taken some more aggressive risks calculated
Risks so you know we need to be prepared for that and we need to be ready from the jump because you know we know there coming out aggressive for sure uh I watched you play in this building you and uh brother John and you hit a few 25t jump shots at least shot
Them what what is it about Carver that you like I always love to come in here uh my freshman year I think Tom Davis was in his last year with the long Nets and I love this place I mean I love the Midwest basketball I’m an east coast boy
But I I was always partial to Iowa and Indiana and these places and the energy here uh so we always had some great matchups I also love the guys I played against I mean Dean Oliver and Luke recard in our senior year and uh Davis and Evan like these guys were were
