VEGAN CHOCOLATE PROTEIN BALLS // GLUTEN FREE// NO BAKE RECIPE

Today we are making some delicious vegan chocolate protein balls!!

These protein balls are an amazingly delicious, gluten free snack that’s also low carb & vegan friendly. Making this no bake recipe is quick and easy, and they’re freezer-friendly, too!

All these ingredients below are either naturally low in sugar, sugar free, or have a sugar free substitute. Loaded with antioxidants, healthy fats, and of course, protein.  You will not need to add the maple syrup if you blend it in a food processor.

INGREDIENTS:

▪️4 TBSP peanut butter (if you do use the powdered peanut butter you need to add 4 TBSP of water with it)
▪️ 1/3 cup flaxseed
▪️45 gr protein powder
▪️4 TBSP cocoa powder
▪️1 TSP vanilla extract
▪️8 TBSP maple syrup
▪️30 gr chocolate chips

For topping:
▪️1 cup shredded coconut

METHOD:
1.      In a large bowl mix all the ingredients together making sure you leave the chocolate chips as the last ingredient to be added.
2. After that, simply roll the dough into balls about the size of golf ball.
3. Roll each ball in the extra shredded coconut before storing in fridge or freezer
4.Freeze right away for 20 minutes (to harden); then store in fridge or freezer to maintain freshness, up to 2 months
